This forum runs super slow on my PC. Am I missing something in settings?
Other forums run OK and Internet seems OK.
Page loads can half a minute.

Hi jim just found this following someone asking about how you did this in the GVC + Vodka thread. Great job mate. A quick question, did u add any of the flavour wicks on top of the mesh? Might just give this a go as i have some mesh off-cuts that would do the job nicely Sorry for late reply, dont come the board that often, maybe it's my PC or my broadband but the AAEC forum runs real slow at this end and I find it really frustrating. No, no flavour wicks, just keep the wick nice and snug in the wick holder, (not tight), and have it hollow but not a straw if you get my drift.

Since I started vaping about 11 months ago my tastes have changed considerably, and they are still changing. I usually have 4 or 5 "DailyVape" bottles on the go.
All my juices are homebrew and most "DailyVape" starts off with French Vanilla or Vanilla Ice Cream, there will be some Dulce de leche in there and I ring the changes with an extra flavour to give me variety. Currently, Strawberry Cream, Apple Pie, Coconut, Irish Cream, White Rum.
That's what I love about DIY, I can make up small batches from stock mixes and have something new on the go all the time.

Just reading a post where someone is struggling with an AGA-T on SS mesh. Lets face it we've all been there. An alternative, and an easy way into vaping on SS mesh is to do a Protank. I love my Genesis style atties but they’re bloody impractical. Big, clumsy, heavy and not the sort of thing I can have flying around the van during the day. I've been playing around with SS wicks on some of the Kanger range, and just done a Protank. Thought I'd post some pics. 4 wraps of .25 kanthal wick came out at 1.2ohms (aimed for 1ohm) which is a bonus as I can use it on a Vamo or a mechanical and it vapes great on both. So if you feel like trying a SS wick without buying an rebuildable, give it a try. I think your on the wrong forum. You are confusing vapers with teachers.

I use Vodka & water at 50%/50% to thin my VG when mixing. (I only vape 100% ish VG DIY) Dont forget Vodka will lower the temp at which your juice evaporates.

The number one reason for coils "popping" is a short. Coils usually pop when one filament or turn of wire gets super hot. If your talking coils popping on an SS wick - it's 99.99% sure it's a short. If your talking about silica wicks - the silica usually gives up long before the coil so again probably a short.
The thinner the wire the more chance of popping.
Can a coil just "pop" due to old age? Prrobably, nothing lasts forever.

If it's your first RBA go for something with screws that trap the wire rather than winding around under the screwheads. You will find it easier to set-up. Just dont buy the so called "Pheonix Bully" it will drive you mad. The centre post/pin pushes up every time you fit it on a battery/mod.

Some Blueberry flavours can be quite harsh and very synthetic and at 24mg it's going to a fair hit. But would agree with others, sounds like a dry hit. Funny youve never had dry's before though. Only after changing juice. Is the Blueberry 100% or very high VG? It wicks slower than PG or even 50%/50%

Just to say hello. Some of you may know me from elsewhere, those that dont will just have to put up with me.
Been vaping for just under a year now. Into rebuildables of all kinds. Own a number of mods including the original "SteamPunk Vamo". Just got the Vamo V3. Not over impressed but it will do. Need to re-build my Vamo V2 now as the threading is almost done in the 510 connector. Maybe do a "how to" and post it up.
Regards, Jim
