Try "Torchy thebattery boy" on Ebay, www.ebay.co.uk/sch/big_f_d_d/m.html Problem with Trustfire and any other battery with "fire" in it is that they are copied to death in China. Some OK many are not. Torchy does his own and Efest 18350 IMR. Lots of vapers use Torchy including me and I haven't had a bad battery yet. If they are not listed on his site just send him a message, I know he has them. If your unsure of which battery to buy you can contact him from his page and he will advise you.

I used quicksteel for fixing the 510 connector, araldite on any plastic parts and yes a blob of silicon to hold wires in place and out of the way.
I place a piece of red cord under the battery to make it easier to pull it out for charging.
Quicksteel is made by "Blue Magic" in the USA, and can be bought online at Amazon etc. I've used it hundreds of times at work and it's the most amazing two part putty I have ever found. I am a locksmith and have even used it to make components for locks until I can get parts. Literally sets like steel.

OK, lets start out by saying it's highly unlikely that I will be making many box/tin mods. 1) Don’t have the time. (these took long enough) 2) Don’t have the electronics skills. (hats off to the Gary D’s of this world). I do have a couple of wood boxes that are going to become Vamo Mods, but that’s for another post The first is just a straight 4.2v, no frills battery box from Stealthvape. I've wired it in parallel so that it can take 1 or 2 18650's. Should be great for a couple of days fishing and if gets dropped, dunked or generally abused it's only cost me a few quid. I had some carbon wrap left over from a tackle box project last year so cost me nothing and the LCD is out of an old hard drive. Cheap as chips and kicks better than any Sigelei I have ever owned. The second is a small tin mod with a single 18500 battery. I used a scavenged EGO VV board on it's side and a plastic bead to pick up the Red, & Blue LED's on the board. Battery remaining is done by the original "Bar type" indicator inside the tin. The wiring has been beefed up, but not sure if this was really needed, just thought it good practice. Multimeter shows volts at 3v, 3.4v and 3.95v. Amazed at how well it performs. The AGA-S is wicked at 1.3ohms and vapes great at the middle setting of 3.4v.

Are you sure its not reacted with suncream or hand sweat? When I was in turkey, mine went like a grey colour and was unreadable but I could scrath it off with my fingernail. Certainly not suncream but hand-sweat is a possible. The plastic had gone quite soft and malleable, but the following morning had hardened up again but the surface is "mottled" leaving it unreadable. I'm going to try and polish it and see what happens.

Anybody had a problem with the LCD window on the Vamo 3? Mines almost melted in the hot weather. Not left out in the sun or in the car, just in my shorts pocket. Screen now unreadable.

If the Dream is Stainless I would be interested. Also live in Preston so could meet up and give you cash.
Would you sell it on it's own? and if yes how much?

There's also some info at guidetovaping.com/2012/02/diy-for-beginners-flavor-list/ The first thing I check for when looking at a flavoring that I don't know is does it contain any oils? I am not sure about Cup Cake World as there is nothing stated, but it would be very rare for an Almond flavoring for instance, not to contain Almond Oil, that's how they get the flavor.

If you can get hold of the Vamo V4, that's the way to go. (IMO)

I don't use carto's much, but this tank takes the hastle out of filling and it's not a bad size. I've had one for a couple of months and for the price they are very good. Stainless, Pyrex and easy fill.

My protank doesn't leak, has great vapour, but the draw is very airy and it whistles loudly. Some people have blocked up airholes to fix that. I'm not sure I'd bother unless you or Mrs like fruit flavours - it has a pyrex tank. If you are considering a clearo to go on a vamo then I'd consider the iclear60 www.vapeescape.co.uk/Vaping-Spares/Tanks--Accessories/Innokin-IClear30-DC-Tank.html. Nova with a dual coil just as good, without the idiosyncratic drip tip, but I think you still have to buy it with single coil heads and buy the dual coil seperately. I use the Protank during the day when working. Stick it on top of a Vamo in 18350 mode so it's just about pocketable. I re-wick them in under 10 minutes including washing them out. I do a quick wash and dry burn in under 5 minutes. They are the easiest atty I know to do your own wicks and I've taught several friends how to do them. Dead simple, 2.5 silica and then do your wraps to what resistance you want. The 2.5 silica helps "tighten" the draw a little, not tight but what I would call middle of the road. No whistles, gurgles or leaks. OK I play with the "toys" at nights and weekend, Genies, Oddies, any RBA's I can get my hands on, but for a workhorse that's easy to maintain and quick to clean and fill the Protank is king. IMO probably the best general atty on the market. But just my opinion.
