I also use fused claptons as much as I can. Built with nichrome though, as I find the ramp up time vs Kanthal is very much reduced.
Currently running a dual fued nichrome clapton in my CLT, 6 wraps around 2.5mm, 0.2mm wrapped around 2x 0.37mm. Coming out at 0.21 Ohm, and vaping at a subtle 75w. Flavour is great.
Sometimes I am lazy though, and twisted works well there.

I'm getting ever so grateful of these regular discounts that I can lurch from one order to the next with my beloved 'jack the ripple' I do wish we could just order 100mls! (or in my case - a litre!) Agreed. They used to sell concentrates in 100ml bottles. I remember getting Red Astaire for around £20 for a 100ml bottle. Shame he doesn't do it anymore. I only buy when there is a promotion like this on now. But I still have plenty stock from the last time, so will give it a miss this time round I think.

Shame it's only the Green & White. Was considering a black one to do a DNA200 board swap with.

As nanotm said, yup, if android is your thing. But if you can live without the expandable storage and waterproofing and live with a smaller battery, the S6 Edge is a stunning phone and will be somewhat cheaper by the time the S7 hits the streets. Only go for the S7 if you think you'll use the power it brings to the table. If you use your phone for calls/texts and the odd bit of browsing, the S6 will do all you need and more. Sent from my X5pro using proboards don't sell the ip68 rating short there, the s6 doesn't have it and the number of folks who drop a phone in a sink/bucket /loo is rather high, you wouldn't want to waste the price of an s6 when for a few quid more you could work rest or play with something that wont mind the kids abusing it in the paddling pool come summer ....... and its not just the little sort of kids that the last part..... And the lack of expandable storage. Don't forget that. There is no way I'd buy an S6 just for that reason. It is, in fact, pretty much the ONLY reason I didn't buy an S6 when they were launched (despite my S4's contract being up, and me being a geek, and loving the latest phone). To be honest, I waited on the Moto X Play. And I really like it. It does what I want, and was reasonably cheap. It could do with more internal memory for apps that refuse to be moved to SD card though. The other thing I noticed with it though, is that I went with Three PAYG with this phone. I find I use just less than a tenner a month. So I don't think I'll get myself roped into a ~£50 pm contract this time round. Buy phone, stick in SIM, cheapest possible way.

Horrible interest rate on the upgrade program though. 14.9% APR. That's almost as bad as a standard credit card. And a year after the S6 launch, ebay seems to show that S6 prices are roughly half the new prices still. So you COULD, in theory at least, get yourself a 0% purchases credit card, buy the phone on that, and pay it back at the same rate (via direct debit, or at £26.63 per month for the S7 Edge to be paid off in 24 months, rather than around that price for the normal S7), and save yourself £100+ in interest payments. And still give yourself the option to upgrade in a years time, if you wish.
I'll consider getting one though. My wife is looking for a new phone anyway, and I could probably do with a wee upgrade, although I do like my Moto X Play actually. The only reason I didn't get the S6 last year was the lack of expandable storage. But I'll be buying it outright on a 0% credit card.

Thanks guys. Can anyone recommend a descent mod that has the SS function? Reuleaux RX200 (Triple 18650 though). With latest firmware has an SS pre-set as well as variable memories that can be set to SS temp calibration. Problem I have with this is that my SS build keeps switching itself to power mode. Booooo

As @hondo said, you are basically halving the resistance with a twisted wire. Pretty much the same effect as dual coiling. Because doubling the wire means the electrons can flow twice as easy, hence half the resistance. That's assuming a simple double wire twist.
I don't think I have ever used bought twisted wire personally. Only ever twisted my own wire. And do like a twisted build I must say. I find it helps a LOT when going for the lower resistances.

Well, finally got a halfway decent TC build in my Magma RDA. Dual coil, twisted ni200 (0.2mm), 9 wraps with 3mm ID coming out at 0.06 Ohms. Firing 32.5w at 420F. It's working quite well actually. I must admit.

How cheapy? I have an old istick 50w here. £15 and it's yours. If you come collect (about 40 miles away from Perth, just outside Arbroath), I'll throw in a couple Aspire BDC tanks and however many coils I have for them (probably 5-10 coils). And I can throw in 10ml of Red Astaire, Clara T and Dr. Vapour.
Otherwise I also have a Snowwolf 200w that I'd let go for £45. No batteries though (although I can sell a pair of new 25r's for a tenner, if you really need them). A bit too manly for a new vaper though.

Mixed up a bottle of this the other night, and was looking for suggested steep times. Probably try to leave this a week then before tucking in. Hope I like it, because I mixed up 100ml, lol.

The main causes of a weak vape/temp limit cuts in too soon are (in no particular order): poor wicking poor airflow not enough contact area between your coil and wick putting the atty on warm and locking the resistance too high high resistance in your atty or mod causing the board to believe the cold coil resistance is higher than it is poor atty or 510 connection coils that only touch and short between loops when they get hot I know a few are obvious. Generally I would keep wicks and wire thinner than with Kanthal. So basically it depends which way the wind is blowing ?!? Looks like it.

Generally I would keep wicks and wire thinner than with Kanthal. You would think that pre-built coils would have most of that sorted out. But we'll see later tonight. As far as mods go, to be fair, my TC mods are limited to a Kangxin DNA40 VapourFlask clone, a Snowwolf 200w, and a Hana One DNA40w. And now the Wisemec RX200w. To be fair, the SW was easily the worst performing TC mod out the lot. And the DNA 40 Hana One is probably the best (well I haven't had enough time with the Hana One or the RX really. The Kangxin was miles better than the SW though). Airflow wise, it has mostly been subtanks I have used, and always fully open airflow. I have done a couple builds on various RDA's, but they are generally fully open too. Like I said, I'll rebuild my Crius tonight with some Ni200 and see what I get (It's Stealth Vapes 0.20mm Tempered, any recomendations of good builds with this?).
