Hi guys I've tried and tried to build a micro coil for my kayfun lite. I've followed super shineys method and a few other tutorials. It all goes well and looks the part until after using it for 10 mins I start getting a slight burnt taste. Any ideas?? It's sooo frustrating!! Thanks Stick your finger over the airhole & take a quick draw, say 1sec. You should notice 1 or 2 air bubbles rising up (if you're using the clear tank section ) This will pull a bit of extra liquid into the chamber & help soak the wicks. You'll know if you draw too long as it will slightly flood the chamber & you'll get gurgling. I've had to do this from day one on both my Kayfun clones - a 3.1 & Lite+. Tried all sorts to fix it with no joy - silica, ekowool, voodoowool, different amounts of cotton, different coil types, etc...

they also make vape fuses they sit on top of your battery they are only thin about 1mm i dont know where from but moodyb will hope this helps toots The fuses I used were Smok Magnet 7Amp. I bought mine originally from HealthCabin as at the time I couldn't find a vendor in the UK, but I noticed recently that UKEcigCabin have them in stock : www.ukecigcabin.com/product/smok-penny-fuseI don't think these would help toots though, as they'd make the battery even longer - 4-5mm extra length. More suitable for a telescopic mod, rather than a fixed length tube mod ( unless it has a decent sized spring in the bottom cap )

No nemesis here either.
Tried a few bottom firing mods, but then realised I much prefered side firing ones.

If your budget allowed £100+ then a Vaporshark DNA30 might be worth considering as it is tiny, but is also vw / regulated. It has an internal 1200mAh battery, but at 7watts I'd imagine that would/should last a full day, unless you chain vape.
One downside, to the dna30 chip, it is that it doesn't step down the voltage. So to get a 7 watt vape, you'd need to use a 2.4ohm coils. Your 2.0ohm coils would give 8.8watts.

These new purple Efest batteries i'm seeing about. Good, bad, ugly or just the same battery in new clothes? The 18500's have been good for me so far. Better than the old red versions and last just as long, if not slightly longer, than my AW 18490 when vaping a 1.3ohm KFL+ on a mech mod. They are a few mm longer than AW batteries though.
