Not to be a Dolly Downer, I hope . . . but things have changed soooooooooooo much in our vaping world over the years since our forum ( and others ) were created.
The rise of Facebook being a major factor, their worldwide outage the other week demonstrated how much a part of everyday internet activity it's become for many people, with that the number of Vendor's who now have their own groups instead of posting in here with news, deals etc.
The equipment we now use is by and large hugely more reliable than it once was, so all the troubleshooting questions we once had to answer have almost disappeared, the availability of kit with High Street outlets has also contributed to our decline - I always use work as an example, the handful of vapers there are all buy their stuff from such shops. It's a generalisation but I'm sure that applies to many who do now vape.
Disposables appear to be the new ' must have ' judging by the number of email newsletters I get from established, long standing Vendors? Having seen one of the girls at work use one, it even tempted me to try one!
Mixing is another area that's been much affected, shortfills/one shots/bottle shots have taken the trial and error element out of mixing . . . which for many has been a huge time saving bonus.
And while all of these things have impacted on forums we should perhaps still celebrate how mainstream ecigs/vaping have become? All those people who are now ex-smokers can only be a positive.
Just for a little trip down memory lane . . . who remembers the Evod?
A game changer for me, I still have some squirreled away in a box somewhere!

A known unknown I suspect -V- as in so many things individual responses and recovery times vary greatly from person to person and this virus probably hasn't been around long enough for any conclusive research to be undertaken . . . .
Which I appreciate doesn't help you greatly - presumably you've tried super strong menthol mixes/absinthe/ cough candy/fishermans friends etc or spicy ones which have something like ginger in them?

I suggest you refresh your memory aspirecig of our Vendor Rules - which apply to all.
Specifically:
Accepted members of the vendor groups are very welcome to join the community, on the Vaping and Social Boards, answering queries about their products and helping members in general. But, any advertising and promotional links to your business or products are strictly limited to the Vendors Board (China)
The Pocket X thread you started on the General Vaping Board is the second I've moved in recent memory - do it again and I'll ban you from the forum.

Although there's 50ml of concentrate in the Bottle Shot - so you could just use it like a one shot and then tweak the strength if required. 
It's actually better value buying that way as 30ml of concentrate ( sold out ) is £8.99.

One story I read said it was being used for the Covid vaccinations as an element in the vaccine or their preparation (can't remember which one). Have also seen a few stores have put PG prices up and restricted amount that can be bought.
I've learnt something there Andy!
In all honesty I was sooooooooo keen to get my ' jabs ' that what ingredients they used in the vaccines never entered my head. Makes sense that there's a shortage as a consequence considering the volume that must be being rolled out world wide.
It's no bad thing that amounts are restricted per purchase as it gives more people a fairer chance of obtaining supplies if needed . . . a price increase, if Vendors are having to pay more, then it's reasonable to expect them to pass on the extra cost to customers.

Postmodern Smoking - Would love to see a review on the DL if you get time, please? It's one I've read tonnes about and have always wanted to try (but would want it to have a super strong lemon kick!)
I mix it at 20% Andy . . . which is perfect for my tastes, I wouldn't say it's a ' super strong ' lemon flavour, but it is a lovely well balanced lemon to pastry taste at that percentage.
I'd heartily recommend you try it along with DL Blackberry Crumble, another one of my favourites from the range. |
