just watched a video on the new Innokin RBA, but they seem to be designed for dripping, which I cant be bothered with. That said it seemed the best setup for recoiling, though the guy in video was using a hell of a lot of cotton Have removed the link

Ok, thanks I'll have a look at that then. Choices aren't easy without seeing things close up are they? Anybody got any pic's of the larger tanks on istick's? Not worried about looks so much, more about balance. Thanks all. Istick 20W at front with Kanger mega tank and the Aspire nautilus on the Kanger MVP 20W

happyloman - you are correct, a clone is essentially a fake. Quite how some of the cloners get away with the original manufacturer's name on their copy I don't know, and I also am not quite sure how the originals are so expensive either; I do know that a Kayfun is a great atty for someone to start with, and as they have been around for so long, there are loads of resources on them both on the forum and on the wider interweb Thanks Chy, honestly not arguing, but Im looking at a site quoting £127 for a Kayfun, I cant see how thats a good one to start with for anyone, no disrespect intended. Im very happy with both my Kangers and my Aspire but neither of them have worked very well on my new MVP 20W, so Im stuck looking for something new. I agree though there is a lot of mentions of the Kayfun stuff, but there seem to be lots of different makers of the clones, so its difficult to know which version to buy. Maybe its just me though lol. Im a bit tight fisted on account of being Scottish

Hi Ive just started looking at new tanks and as so many folk refer to the Kayfuns Im thinking of getting one. Im a bit confused as to why the originals are so expensive? Also not sure what clone means, I took it to me "fake" but Ive seen a few now, the likes of the ones on Provapes, which actually have the "Svoe Mestro" name on the tanks, who I thought were the manufacturers of the originals?

Apologies for posting the picture but I just couldnt resist saying something about it and none of my friends smoke or vape. But look at them, the happy couple The Istick is the front one, although its the Kanger tank on top - the yellow paper is stuck on with cellotape with the name of the juice in it written on it - I have found - even with the unicoil- the Istick still burns the coil, just not as frequently and so it will be the Aspire Nauticulus that will actually sit on it, as it has never over powered with when attached to the istick. Sitting next to it and only just ordered yesterday (Thankyou Vape-it) is the MVP 20W TB (Total Beast ). I think the Innokin will be for use at home and the Istick for outside, as Im too self conscious to puff away outdoors on that big beast of a beauty Thankyou for all your help, I did a lot of searching around, but always came back here to search the forums for the different models, so there are various posts on the forum just now dragged up from the past by myself, sorry! Thankyou to all again. Im a happy chap now

Im just finding the blue cap in the original is slightly more stiff when unscrewing. You're supposed to use the clear cap in all the tanks as it covers the open top part of the slots. Then you just add the blue or black for whatever tank you use. When I had the Aerotank Mega I used the clear cap with the black spacer. Same on an evod2. It says in instructions "with dual coil devices remove clear silicone cap and add blue" ? So just to clarify are people removing the clear one?

I have two types of Kanger tanks. The original Aerotank and the Aerotank mega.
I have been using the blue cap for the Mega Tank, but there is also a black and a clear cap. just wondered what people use for the Original Aerotank, the blue or the black cap? Im not sure if it makes much difference, Im just finding the blue cap in the original is slightly more stiff when unscrewing.

Anyone ever bought from them? Did you have a look in the same forum section you are posting in? In answer - a fair few. First couple that came up were people saying they were tempted, but resisting

There's a newer version of the MVP coming out soon, maybe you should wait till it comes out before deciding mate. Cheers mate, Ive had a look at the specs for the v3 and it just seems to be a higher W, which isnt an issue for me, I find Im never going higher than 3 or 4 volts for all my flavours. The only thing I keep reading that puts me off the MVP2 is that they seem to have a weak connection and the threading wears away. Ive been looking to see if there was an adaptor that my mega tanks etc could screw into instead of the actual thread on the MVP, as away of protecting it, although its really more of an extension, but there doesnt see to be anything.

If you like the cylinder/twist style batteries i got the Kanger Ipow2 today it's really nice 1600mah/3-15watt, will fire down to 1 ohm. It's nice and solid, looks great is adjustable in 0.5watt increments with a nice clear display, charges via micro usb. myepack.co.uk/batteries/kanger-ipow-2-1600-mah.htmlcheers mate, that was the one I was meaning in my post, didnt realise it was a "2" version. I hope your lucky, but they all seem to flake oout about 2 weeks in. Cheers Dreamy, Im going to finally bit the bullet and give this rewicking malarky a go The MVP by Innokin? This is the one Im leaning to most I have to admit, seem to going for about £30 on Amazon now too thanks again all

Im hoping someone can recommend a battery for me The Eleaf is the first "big" wattage battery Ive tried, the rest have all been stick style batteries of about 1300mah or less. Ive steared away from the bigger batteries as they all seemed to be using a separate battery and hence need a charger box as well. What I liked about the Eleaf is that it could be charged by USB. The problem with it, is that I mainly use Kanger Mega Tanks and the Eleaf just burns through the coils randomly, it doesnt seem to cause any problems when using the Aspire Nauitculus though, but I ve only one Aspire tank and 3 Megas (and 4 original Aerotanks ! ) If I had bothered to check here first about the Eleaf I would have read about the burning coils issue and probably not purchased it, so Im hoping for recommendations that fit the above criteria and are more tried and tested, than latest versions? The other issue is price, Im hoping to get something below £50. Thanks for any help forthcoming For what its worth the batteries I have had were ;
Aspire Twist fine but the thread wore away and now nothing will grip when screwed in, after 6 months use.
Innokin v3 vv/vw, expensive for 800mah and the 2 I had lasted about 6 months each.
Vision 2 and Vision Spinner, both of these have charging issues that have been mentioned by others on here too, ie - showing fully charged, but if you disconnect the usb and reconnect it will happily go on charging for another few hours. Really irritating.
Ive had 2 Kanger batteries too, though not sure of the names both have been cheap and cheerful.
The latest Kanger IPOW battery, these have the digital display at the base of the stick, like other people I found after a week or two it "developed" a loose connection in the mini usb port for charging, wouldnt recommend at all, I would say these are flawed in design, somehow, as so many people have had the exact same problem.

Does anyone find the range setting on the Istick 20W a bit wonky? Im finding sometimes the range goes down to 4.7W, yet sometimes it wont budge below the 5w it lists as being the minimum, and last night it went to 4.1W! It also never reaches 20W maximum, I think it peaks at 16W.
