Got a post on my Facebook wall from Kanger about Fasttech.


Important Announcement to all Kangertech Customer

Please be informed that Fasttech is not Kangertech Authorize distributor. Kangertech is now investiaging the source of Kangertech product which this Fasttech company selling. We will further announce details to all customer.

To prevent get loss or counterfeit product, Kangertech hereby suggest all customers to contact Kangertech Authorize distributors to place order for Kangertech product.

I suppose it's a bit like a ciggie company saying don't buy knock of fags as the distributor isn't an authorised reseller

It looks like that notice supposedly from Kangetech was written by one of FT's rivals in Chinglish.

I was just thinking the same osdset. Actually I'd doubt anything purporting to come from a firm like kanger. Like kanger have the time to watch and post on FB?

This is just what Innokin did as well isn't it? The big manufacturers are not keen on FT under cutting the MSRP

It's not the first time a large manufacturer has put out a ' disclaimer ' about Fasttech products happyloman . . . company politics probably play some part I'd think.

Given the number of us that buy from FT now, it wouldn't be surprising if some of their Authorized re-sellers had complained as well.

Sorry, I was under the impression this message was sent directly to the OP. But then I don't FB so I don't understand any of it - and I don't want to.

Anything FT list as 'authentic' Kanger will be from the companies that make the same for Kanger, just cheaper cos Kanger don't get to slap their price margin on it. They must be losing a fair bit of business.

Watch this at about 10 mins, Kanger don't machine the parts they get small firms to machine for them. It's worth watching the whole video.
At 24 mins but about Kanger shutting down a Kanger clone producer 2 blocks down the road.

First couple that came up were people saying they were tempted, but resisting

FT - pay for tracking under 20 dollars, it's cheap and worth it. Over 20, use the new faster service to the UK if you want to speed it up. If not it takes about 3 weeks for in stock items to get here. Read the discussions on any item rather than the reviews as they point out any drawbacks.
I've been buying there for over a year without complaint.

I have checked product code on Kangertech website, and they appear to be genuine from Fasttech
