I tend to just keep up with my PC upgrades as time goes on... never costs me very much in a single go (plus I sell all the "old" parts to offset some of the cost of upgrading) my PC is already far and away better than the unreleased PS4 or XBOX 460 or whatever they want to call them

i'll tell you what annoys the hell outta me is when you watch the first season of a show and then (usually Fox) decides to cut it... They tried that with family guy, it didn't work out too well for them . The family guy creators basically have fox bent over a barrel now and can get away with almost anything (and often do), fox could of course cancel them again but after last time I don't think they would bother.

Quahog is the Narragansett Indian name for a clam and is frequently used here in RI. I don't watch much television anymore, but when I did I preferred British show to American one. My favorites were: Fawlty Towers Talking of faulty towers, I saw a program the other day where they were talking about the shows history. A US remake was planned (the same/similar to the recent "shamless" debacle) and they decide it would only work in the US if (of all people)basil wasn't in it as he wouldn't be understood properly by a US audience.... safe to say the remake was never made

And that's not a good thing when it makes us want to eat more ........... and England smells disgusting!! Fox Especially our money, metal/cash/shrapnel/change I mean. I only found this out the other day (not smoked for over a year)... I never really handle cash any more, all plastic. For one reason and another I had to handle a lot of cash... I couldn't get rid of the smell from my hands all day, surely money didn't smell this bad the whole time?

Doesn't mean too much as I don't know the previous strengths, or how much liquid each of these ''refills'' contain as they now seem to be turning their back on the ''per ml'' calculations.
If I have got it right they are lowering the nicotine content basically? and they think people will still ''suck'' the same amount..... of course they don't think that, they know the lower nicotine the more ''sucks''.. this will suit them just fine.

It is almost bordering on funny, not your situation so much as the worries people have in general. As bel said, smoking as bad for blood pressure too(worse by all accounts), as are nicotine patches..... as is, most importantly of all, IMO, stress or worry. If you are getting too much nicotine you will know, there should also be indicators given by your body if your BP changes dramatically, I can tell almost instantly if mine changes...
You of course can't tell about long term damage/change to your blood pressure, I know though that smoking is worse than vaping (in every aspect) so returning to smoking would cause stress, nevermind all the physical damage of doing so... giving up everything would also create much more long term stress...
I know what I would do, but I am not a doctor (useless as they may be in many cases).

I used to buy cast-off components from Overclockers' forum and I bought SO's last PC from eBuyer, but now I just don't know where to turn I'm convinced his current problems are mostly self-inflicted but can't get my hands on his PC. I don't know your situation so I don't know if my advice would apply (or maybe you have thought of this and dismissed it as not an option) but if you are physically unable to get to your SO but the other computer is connected to the internet and you know your way around a computer; have you thought about setting up a remote desktop connection to find out if there is anything obvious you can do without having to physicaly touch/open the computer? It is fairly easy to do (depending on a few things)and once setup it is as though you are sat there using everything on the target computer. EDIT: remote assistance may be better in this case. If this is not an option, can't you instruct your SO on some things to look at/do, over the phone if need be? I expect none of this applies as there is probably some vital part of the story I am missing?

I wouldn't bother with dell personally and it was my job to ''bother'' with them for quiet some time. This is why I wouldn't advise a dell. They are overpriced and tend to ''persuade'' you to stick with them as a company, they tend to be difficult and problematic to work on. I have a dell laptop (through the trade) but I wouldn't wish it on anybody overclockersuk will build you a PC to spec (IIRC)if you can't do so for any reason and this would be the place I would look, or ebuyer are always good.

That is a shame. That stands for hardware abstraction layer, covers quiet a broad range of things. Could simply be the file (hal.dll) is corrupted ( in which case installing just that file will cure it). It could be any driver playing up, mobo/chipset included AFAIK. This is unlikely though IMO as if a particular driver was playing up (I would expect ) a particular driver name to show up which it hasn't (kind of) Could of course be nothing to do with drivers and be a physical hardware problem. I have found some references on google relating to underclocking your FSB may help with this error, at least in the short term. forums.techguy.org/hardware/862194-bsods-hal-dll.html

Info like memory dump files (or whatever they are called on windows 7) used to be minidump.dmp on XP IIRC. That is what you would want to find, if you can find out what they are called on windows 7 (maybe the same) I have yet to encounter a bsod on windows 7.... famous last EDIT: should be C:\Windows\Minidump\Minidump.dmp. post up the results and the erroneous driver should be clear, especially if you have several files and they all point to the same driver.
