Roscopecotrain yep I just had another look at the guide for coiling the kayfun, I've been doing protanks for a couple of weeks and the kayfun looks pretty similar to me unless i've missed something, the only problem with ordering it from slowtech is I usually fill the waiting time by looking for other things to buy, was also fancying an mvp have you any experience of them?

Ahh right might have to think about which batteries to order Super-Shiny but I had already pressed the button on the order for the fasttech nemesis clone and stuck one of their kicks in as it was only a fiver, no idea if they're any good, any idea about the batteries being flat top or button - does it make a difference? Thats what I'm hoping Roscopecotrain can't wait, but I'll have to lol they're not nicknamed slowtech for nothing! Never mind I've got some red astaire conc coming from t juice to occupy me for a while

Thanks fagin, thinking of starting off with a couple of 18350 and 18650 batteries, does that sound about right and do you have any idea if the nemesis takes button or flat top?

Thanks Roscopecotrain Greg gordy180, thats exactly the problem, looovvve the look of the nemesis but how do mech mods work - not a clue, how do they compare to a vv vw device like a vamo or svd? or is the solution to get both!

Just ordered a SvoeMesto Kayfun v3.1 ES Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) and a few mini protanks from Fasttech, so the question is which mod do I go for? Been down this route before and ended up buying 2 itaste vv v3 batteries which are my out and about vaping preference but now think I'm ready for a proper mod, want something fairly small and will probably buy the mod from this country and will need batteries and a charger but having never actually seen a proper mod I have no idea of the actual size of the things.
Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Aldo I've just been sitting here making a couple of weeks supply of micro coils using the Super-Shiny guide which is excellent, I use a lighter to heat the wire so can't get enough heat when pinching between the tweezers so when I've got the coil on the 2 mm screwdriver blade I pull the legs tight between my fingers and push the coils together using a fingernail, getting really good results that way and I find it easier than pinching with the tweezers, just make sure you have given the wire a good heating before winding, I do 3 passes with the lighter. Once you get a technique that works for you it's easy. Good luck buddy.

you and me seem to be on the same learning curve, I did similar a couple of nights ago, filled a 10ml bottle half way with menthol crystals, topped up with pg and used at 10% in a mix, well it certainly cleared my head but couldn't vape a full tank, but the upside was I haven't got a cold now - coincidence maybe.
I would go easy maybe 2-3% and see how that is cos it's gonna be strong.

Just wondered if anyone has had a similar problem with one of these.
Took my fully charged I Clear vv this morning and put an I clear 16 with a new coil on it and it wouldn't fire so eased the button up a little and it fired, but the power seemed down, so took it apart cleaned the button and checked the atty, put it back together, by the way the button seemed quite loose.
During the day I had to up the watts by 1.5 from 8 which is my normal vape to 9.5 to get any where near a decent vape, I've got another so it's no disaster but it's only just over a week old so was wondering if I got a duff one.
