Must admit I have been surprised at peoples reactions to the e cigs, especially my team leader who nearly fell off her chair choking when I had a toke on mine during my yearly appraisal  What is the matter with people, their reaction is often worse than if I had lit up an analogue, at least 50% have asked if there are drugs in it, mind you I usually say "yes" and carry on regardless, in hindsight that probably isn't helping! |

Hi dhansak and welcome, they're such a friendly bunch on here it's amazing, anyway I've tried alsorts but would recommend a couple of evods and a mini protank from myepack who are a superb company, batteries I've got loads of ego type but recently bought an itaste vv v3 which are superb from www.vapercaper.co.uk/collections/complete-kits/products/innokin-itaste-vv-v3 and immediately bought another. In short I use evods and iclear 16s for out and about and a mini protank for the evenings, the evod and mini protank heads are interchangeable which is a bonus. Thanks for clarifying that Perpetua I'm new to posting on forums (this is my first go at it) and it's been a very good experience, it's sad you have to take measures like that but that is the internet there is a full range from very good to very bad people out there, hence me subscribing to a VPN as it improves security, it's not a problem to me I just switch it off when I'm on here. I know I haven't been on here very long but I must congratulate you for running a very friendly site  |

I got that @zero when I had only been a member for a few days and thought for a moment "well that lot don't take much upsetting lol" then I realised I was connected through a VPN, disconnected the VPN and was back in, I think certain sites ban ip's from certain countries not sure why, can you disconnect the VPN or change the server you are connected to?

Really got to try that Red Astaire flavourtank everybody's raving about it, must admit I've been boring up to now sticking with tobacco and menthol flavours but I tried a few fruity/toffee ones ages ago and hated them but they were cheap nasty rubbish from before I started reading on here. Mixing however has got me champing at the bit to try all of the popular flavours after all sooo many vapers can't be wrong. |

Yep I've loved it and just had a test vape with the home made menthol and it's quite nice, certainly clears the head but it's really not bad at all, can't wait to try the others it's driving me nuts already and Mrs smarties just keeps wandering into the kitchen shaking her head and muttering about potions. You must have more patience than me flavourtank mixing without any nic base, I can see the sense in it but all that waiting and then mixing AGAIN and waiting AGAIN, I suppose I'll learn to be more patient with it but not today. |

Well my nic base and everything else arrived today so being the patient (lol) person that I am it was straight into it. Started easy with my first go at it and did these, all T Juice, 10 ml of each. UK Smokes 50/50 pg vg 7% flavour conc and 18mg Mintastic 50/50 pg vg 10% flavour conc and 16mg
Primo Verde 50/50 pg vg 7% flavour conc and 18mg
Ice Queen 50/50 pg vg 10% flavour conc and 16mg
Menthol home made 50/50 pg vg 10% flavour conc and 16mg
I know it's nothing exciting but I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself I suppose that'll last until I try some of them 
That said my curiosity is getting the better of me so I might just sample the home made menthol
Anyone got any views on the % flavourings used? |

Been reading a bit about whisky and chill filtering which removes most of the oils apparently, so when my nic base arrives tomorrow I'll give it a try with a chill filtered brand (I'm sure I'll have one in my modest collection) and let you all know what it vapes like.  |

So I've got my mixing supplies in the post this week hopefully and have read about thinning vg with vodka, has anyone tried thinning with whisky? I like high vg mixes due to pg intolerance and thought it might go well with tobacco flavours, sounds good to me.  |
