As I'm rapidly becoming a vape geek (according to people that know me) I decided that I need to know what all the fuss is about when it comes to mech mods, plus it was an excuse to buy toys.
So ordered a Nemisis and a Caravela from slowtech, ordered some 18500 batteries and charger from torchy for the Nemmy but want some 18350 for the Caravela, then I start reading about batteries and the problems that can occur with mech mods and think - mmmmm maybe I should have thought this through a little better as I know bog all about what I am getting into.
My questions to start with are: will the Torchy 18500 batteries be ok for the Nemmy and what 18350 batteries do I need for the Caravela, I have a good understanding of electrical principles as I work in that sector but know very little about batteries and their characteristics.
Are the batteries likely to pop if I over discharge them (why?) and what do you look out for to avoid this and what is "safe chemistry" and all the other IMR, protected and goodness knows what.

I've been so tempted by one of those but I had just orderd a stainless one from slowtech which got posted the day before the shutdown for the new year holidays, if it hadn't I was going to order one from m-vapes anyway they are out of stock now. What is the atty on top, I'm looking for something to go on my nemmy when it arrives as the kayfun 3.1 didn't get posted so I'm expecting that around easter time.

Ha ha I've still got one of those in a drawer somewhere Mine was from Mini ciggy, that version was truly awful, you needed someone squeezing a sensitive part of your anatomy to get a draw out of one  |

The thing that I didn't like was the guy who was shown twice saying something like, we are vaping numerous toxins, he didn't expand on that, but they saw fit to show his uninformed contribution twice, who was he I had an excited 7 year old birthday girl bouncing around at the time so missed some of the program.
The incorrect diagram of the cigalike and that guys comments just reinforced my view that our greatest enemy is ignorance not facts.

I have the same problem with evods amygx I've tried sellotape over an air hole but they are just too airy for me, shame as I like the simple design, easy to recoil, a mini protank however with a microcoil and cotton wool is my vape of choice at the mo, you would think they were essentially the same but they're not. tried them with lower resistance coils Perpetua which I thought would cure it but no, 1.8ohms in a mini protank however add a little red astaire mmmmmm  |
