My eldest who has been driving since may this year has a 13 year old VW lupo, she told me a while ago that it was regularly stalling on her at junctions. Obviously I advised her to get it checked out ASAP. We know nowt about cars in our house, so when she told me it seemed to be ok I thought no more about it. We recently agreed to meet in a car park and to my horror I watched her come round a very busy roundabout and saw the car die on her leaving her stuck in the middle of the road with no power steering fighting to get it to start again. I was legging it across the car park to get to her ( god knows what I intended to do) when it burst into life and she pulled in next to me. She leapt out totally unconcerned saying 'oh it does that all the time'. I was horrified and insisted we take it straight to a garage which is where it still is, I have no doubt we are facing a large bill but I cannot believe she was happy to continue driving it in that condition, if it had been me I would have abandoned it after the first couple of times and taken the bus! Kids have no fear, she informed me I was being dramatic when I threatened to take the keys away if she drove it again before having it looked at!

I love those little cheese wrapped in bacon thingys with Christmas dinner, they're lovely cold too. We don't like traditional Christmas cake so my daughter makes a chocolate cake, this year she was experimenting with choccy buttercream and blended some fudge pieces in...it's gorgeous, trouble is she won't let us touch it till Christmas ..

My very first iclear16 is on it's 3rd week after one overnight bicarbonate soak and a timid attempt at a dry burn which probably didn't achieve anything, still seems to be as good as new, excellent little things IMO

Oh dear, I have just read through the thread for the first time and wept with laughter, you have one seriously dyslexic iPad! I don't have any advice about the mad old lady and the spanky skirt with nettles but you have given me such a laugh, I wish my iPad typed like that, I've got a Bluetooth keyboard which makes life easier but I'm thinking of chucking it away and going back as nature intended now! Bless ya Smokeybebe I'm sure you'll look lovely in whatever you choose to wear.

Ok, two soppy questions coming up..brace yourselves... 1. I have the itaste vv3, I know it's a pass through but does that mean you can only use it as a pass through when plugged into a USB on a PC or can you use it when plugged into the wall? I only have an iPad with no USB ports. I'm too scared to try it when plugged in to charge in case I end up with singed eyebrows lol 2. I have the iclear16s, if I soak them in bicarbonate overnight do I need to dry burn too? Or will just the coils be clean enough to just air dry? Told ya they were stoopid questions lol

I know jess they are so cute, my daughter's is about half the size of my iclear and itaste vv3, in cherry red with gold bits, I'm quite jealous lol, though her battery is only about 300Ah. As you say, very attractive to kids, and we will suffer as a result. She can keep her choice of flavour though...bubblegum...yuk! Though I prefer that wafting from her room than cig smoke...

Now that is true @johanino, I hadn't thought of it like that, thankfully we haven't had the promiscuity issue...well not that I ever knew about anyway lol

That's what I'm hoping for with her, I don't think she was smoking more than a few, certainly I couldn't smell it all the time and my nose has become rather sensitive since I stopped smoking cigs, so hopefully the enthusiasm will wear off when the next fashion item pops up (and then I'll nick her kit as a back up)... Evil mother..
