About 5 weeks ago, I bought 50ml of 'Ry4 essence' from www.cig-eliquid.co.uk/. I thought to myself ''yum yum lots of Hangsen Ry4 to make'' - How wrong I was . I couldn't find anywhere on the site, as to what % I should mix it at, so I did 3x5ml bottles mixed at 10%/15%/20%. After 3 weeks, I sampled them all on my immortalizer with cotton. Hardly any taste...arrrg! It wasn't until I came across this site www.hangsenshop.eu/ that I found a bit of guidance on how much to mix this 'essence' at. It says: Essence is the key to a bottle of excellent liquid. Essence contains the majority of tobacco extracted ingredients and drives the taste and smoothness of a bottle of finished liquid. There are tobacco essence (Such as USA Mix, Gold&Silver) and neutral essence (with no flavour). The former is used to create standard liquid with solvent. The later has to be combined with flavouring and solvent to make a bottle of liquid. There is no nicotine in the essence.Note: When mixing a bottle of DIY liquid, our recommended ratio is 30% tobacco essence with 70% solvent or 25% neutral essence with 5% flavouring and 70% solvent. (That was copied 'n' pasted btw bugger writing that! ) So, 30%'ish it is then. Still hardly any taste...arrrrg! - I recently went through the 'vapers tongue' for 3/4 days but, they are absolutely fine now, so that's not the issue. It seems, for me anyhow that - I need 50% to taste the famous Hangsen Ry4. I already have about 40ml left of a pre-made bottle I bought somewhere else, and that taste great....just like the bottle I have made at 50%. Is there a difference between 'essence' and concentrate? I thought it was too good to be true, to make my beloved Ry4 for pennies. Just to be clear, I'm not getting at Cig e-liquid, here. You can get Ry4 'essence' from a load of places. It just happens that I got it from there. Anyway, it works out at the same price, buying pre-made or D.I.Y! ...bugger! and bugger!

CAP...Pear 8%PA.....Bavarian Cream 11%PA.....Coconut 3%PG/VG..60/40
This was on my 'to do' list a while ago. It's been steeping for about 3 weeks. Very tasty! I've also sampled 6/7 other juices.... . Still, I'm happy if I get a keeper out of a handful of attempts .

On google earth, the address ( the one on their website ) shows it as being a restaurant/takeaway . So that's where the oil comes from .

I'm not sure what you mean, @djs - ''fake liquid mixed in the UK using Chinese ingredients''
Wasn't ibreathe involved in the 'faking'?

ibreathe Cherry has: <1.0% orange ''oil'' - <1.0% Ginger ''oil'' - <0.5%Nutmeg ''oil''. Not for me thanks. I'd rather vape my home-made, thank you very much.
I don't buy many pre-mades OP but...I'm sure there are a few on here, who can point you in the right direction.

It can be a bit temperamental at times. Sometimes, if I catch the button slightly off-centre a few times, it will switch itself off ( due to the 3 click on/off feature). Pressed in the centre, it never fails. Takes a bit of getting used to but, once you get over that annoying glitch, its a pretty good work horse. I love it in 18500 mode.

A bit like aniseed balls, Pep. Fond memories of Pernod (although my stomache the morn' after didn't think so ) It was to blame for the first time I ever got drunk .

I don't think there is a day gone by, when I haven't had a cheeky ml or two of this very moor'ish juice. Also Pep, you should try one or two of those variations I listed. Leave it to steep for a week or two.

Just mixed up my first 20ml 'sample' of Fluid by Super-Shiny and crossing fingers! Have gone off the dessert flavours lately and reverted back to tobacco flavours out of desperation. You won't be disappointed, newdawn. I have a few variations of it. Pear 4% added to original recipe. FA H2OMG 3% added to original recipe. Inawera lemon mix 1% added to original recipe. Inawera orange 2% added to original recipe. I feel like I'm doing me lines at school. So many possibility's with this recipe.

FA Dark Vapure
This needs a bit of a steep. I used this first at 4% then, decided that 6% is about right for me. I quite like this one - some of the FA tobaccos have been a bit disappointing for me, but, this one has a definite tobacco taste, and unlike some of the other FA stuff, I'm not getting that hideous floral note that some of them give. A slight smokiness/earthyness to it and a good all round flavour....8/10

Whilst it sounds like a bargain, starbug - I wouldn't be too confident in buying one, with no product image available.

This is the worst its been for me, since I started vaping ...its driving me barmy! I was taking for granted my delicious mixes then - out of nowhere, BOOM. Tried brushing my teeth a million times, mouthwash....no joy. Just on a menthol 'n' blackcurrant at the mo' and I can sort of taste it. I've just had couple of days of it, but can still taste this. Menthol is the key to tasting with the dreaded rubber tounge I reckon. I've done a bit of reading up, and apparently, the key is water. Although I knew that, PG dehydrates you and you are suppose to drink plenty - The vapour in your throat/mouth, absorbs the moisture creating a ''film'' which in turn, affects your taste-buds, somewhat. www.ecblendflavorshop.com/helpdesk/knowledgebase.php?article=1So, today I've drank a well full, and as if by magic!....I can taste my juice again.
