Well I haven't been posting much of late although I am usually lurking in the background from time to time. I've just realised my 3rd smoke free anniversary occurred last week and today is 6 months vape free 👍 Ive also got more money than ever as not only do I no longer smoke but I banished shinyitus to history too  I'd just like to say a big big thank you to all those lovely folk on this forum who helped me in the early days as a novice and hope that I managed to help newer users as I became more experienced. As I said I don't post much these days for obvious reasons but for any newbies out there either just joined up or those lurking in the background, please participate and ask for as much help as you need. Many fantastic members on here will only be too pleased to help and once you become part of the "family" help can arrive in many more ways than mere advice. So tonight I shall be raising a glass to this forum and all its stupendous members  |

I looked at taking up the offer of smart meters a little while ago, but discovered that the meters aren't compatible across energy suppliers. So if you wanted to switch supplier you had to get the meters changed. Apparently the problem was "being worked on ", so I don't know if this still applies. So what, they are free |

I got mine fitted last weekend for electricity only. The driver for me was to do away with estimated bills. They are supplied and fitted free of charge so there's not much not to like. I'm not obsessive about usage but having said that since getting it I've bought loads of 5w led light bulbs and removed lots of 50watt halogens or filament. I had 15 50watt bulbs in my kitchen  I'm no working through the house changing all for leds where possible. I've been amazed that a 5W led lamp is as bright or brighter than a 50watt halogen or filament lamp. |

It will sell for that money. Possibly not on eBay but in a group like mod trader where all the flippers hang out it would go They should call it the knobhead group, and furthermore whoever does buy it can then wear their top hat on their knobhead  |
