When filling the Buds, try not to push the rubber bottle adapter too hard into the hole on the Bud. I try to leave it a little loose to allow the air to escape while filling. Otherwise it can force the liquid into the airway.

I had this problem on Bel's Lavatube yesterday. One carto just would not work with it. I used a flat headed screwdriver and turned the centre part of the carto battery connector a little and it worked after that. That was on a Dual Coil carto which had a slot for the screwdriver. If yours does not have that, you can use a paper clip to gently work the centre part down a little. Just don't push the paper clip into the hole too far. You forgot to say "Simples" LOL, don't you start You will be joining the N team next

Jason has the echomizers on his site. He gave me a handful of them at the last Vapefest and they worked really well. Same idea as the other cartomizers though, just shaped like a cone.
Just tried one on a VGO kit battery and it worked fine.

It is normal to get a small amount of liquid get through to the battery connector. Even on my Provari, I regularly clean the connector to remove any liquid. Most cartos etc have a hole in the connector to allow air through when you take a draw. Condensation and excess liquid can come out of there into the battery. Normally it's only a small amount that can build up over time.
If I draw too hard on an atty it can flood and gurgle a bit. Used to get it a lot on the 510 tank atomizers. The airway would fill up with liquid. Same can happen with the Buds. Cartos will leak as well if you get liquid into the airway when filling. It also happens if they are over filled. Sometimes I fill mine until a drop comes out of the battery connector. Then I give them a quick blow through onto some tissue to clear the airway.
Daz at Safercigs has a great offer on at the moment on some dcc tanks. These are really good. I've been using one from Totally Wicked now for over a week. It is still performing exactly the same as when I bought it. No drop off at all and not one leak.
Just give the battery connector a clean with some tissue every now and then. Especially before putting it on charge. Otherwise liquid could get into the charger.
