It depends what stinkies you smoked previously. I smoked Golden Virginia rollies (20 a day) for many years and the most authentic replacement I have found is Halo Torque56. It's not cheap (see below) but it does the business for me - I get a great throat hit off 18mg in an iclear16 at 8 watts, and it only has a miniscule sweet aftertaste. Halo are a very reputable US company and they don't have a huge range of flavours, but they specialise in tobacco juices. I've tried Halo Tribeca and although it's nice I find it has too much caramel. I've also tried Midnight Apple which is a dark sweet tobacco with a burnt apple aftertaste which I like. I didn't much like their Turkish Tobacco. I'm currently trying Halo Voodoo and it's very smooth, but I will always come back to Torque56. Vapetime supply Halo juices and there is a 15% discount "VAPETIME" AAEC VendorHere's an opinion on Halo juices Best Eliquid

At that price they could be single coil heads - best to check with the vendor before ordering. Unless anyone can confirm what they are ?

Tjuice mix their ready made at 15% . . . . That's a useful snippet of information. I'm still experimenting to find my favourite juices and have got a couple of ready mixed T-Juices on order to try out (heres hoping), but I reckon mixology is the way forward long term and T-juice would be a useful starting place for flavour concentrates.

As Perpetua says it's black with green and purple shimmery bits in it - I quite like it. I've also got a pearl chrome one and that is my favourite. None of the literature mentions it but they also have overcharge protection (the green light goes off when it's fully charged). I guess eventually when I know what I'm doing I'll progress to a mech mod, which can give you variable wattage with a Kick in it, but it's really nice to have features like battery status/protection, and an ohm meter to tell if one of your iclear coils has popped (cos they do from time to time).

Tried to remove the remants of some strong dark cherry juice from my Aspire BDC yesterday. Washed it under a hot tap and left to dry, then gave it a dry burn to see if the coils would glow. Pulsed it a dozen times but never got a glow so gave up. It's now useless - hardly any vapour and it pops and crackles a hell of a lot more than it did previously, but it still reads 1.8 ohms so a coil hasn't gone. Has anyone else tried dry burning one of these ?

Mine tastes of tyre fire at the moment, after 2 weeks, so will leave it another week before having another blast.

For those that aren't sure about mods, the perfect half way house between an Ego battery and a Mod is the Innokin VV V3,it has all the advantages of a mod (VV,VW,Ohms checker, pass through) in a unit the same size as an Ego Twist, and they can be picked up for about £30. I can recommend the itaste v3 if you need to progress from the starter batteries. It's got everything the more expensive mods have and it won't roll off the table. The battery is only 800 maH which lasts me half a day, but with pass through you can vape whilst it's on charge. It's always best to have at least one other device/battery as a fallback. Cheapest full kit (includes 5 iclear16) is ParadiseVape I didn't get mine from them unfortunately, so paid £40 for a chameleon on Fleabay.

Nice thing about mods is that you can get an adaptor off eBay and turn it into the world's most expensive torch.

My lineup is evic, svd, vamo, itaste vv but that's on its last legs so the backup lesson has been learned Just out of interest roughly how long have you had the itaste vv and how do you know when it's on its last legs ? I bought two itaste vv and I'm trying to minimise my spend on vape gear now, but wondered when I might need to flex the credit card again.

I've tried a few JJ flavours and at the risk of being flamed I don't enjoy many of them. Some seem a bit weak to me. Comments on these are after steeping for 2 weeks:
key lime - very weak belgian waffle - sweet (honey?), better after steeping peppermint - strong, refreshing black gold - still unvapeable after 2 weeks pina colada - like this, but needs to be stronger apple pie - hamstercage and weak apple dark cherry - like weak cough medicine menthol - definitely menthol ! banana - nice banana, but again a bit weak pineapple - like this, but it's weak caramel - quite nice, like a weak version of Halo Tribeca cherry pie - not tried yet
Edit: most of the above tried in an iClear16 at 8 watts, but the suspected tank crackers tried in an Aspire BDC pyrex jobby.
I guess at the price for 10ml some of these juices are good value, and I will return to them from time to time.
