After the lovely welcome yesterday and purchasing my new bit of kit I was so excited. Made if through the evening (no wine, just in case. No vodka either, just in case ) Got to bed, and had a jolly good vape whilst reading. Amazingly, slept like the proverbial baby! So pleased with myself, got past the morning, past lunch, almost up to afternoon tea and then...23 hours 37 minutes into my first full ciggie free day and I broke! I was trying to write - typically a really bad many-fag time for me and well...Bit miffed with myself, but hey, it's another day, another 24 hours to get through and I will get that golden time sorted - I will! To be very honest, I never really expected to kick the ciggies totally in one fell swoop and did think that if I could just get down to 5 a day for the first few days, then that would be great. We'll see. Onwards and upwards

Great news tigerlillyHave you tried it yet? Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, we were all in your shoes once Hi Karma Yes I have, thank you and I'm jolly chuffed :-) So pleased that so far - no indigestion! We'll see, but if it does start again, Mark did tell me about 100% VG mix, which may be better and stop the indigestion. Blimey, what it is to start falling apart I do have a couple of other questions i would like to ask but think that needs to go on another thread - about peoples personal health benefits from vaping, that sort of thing.

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome, the great advice and friendship. Since I posted this morning I have rushed out to visit Mark (on here) in Chelmsford and his shop and he has sorted me out with a, um, well e-cig that needs to have juice put in it. I'm slow with the technicalities here, but I feel so enthused and happy to have found a place where I can ask stoopid questions! Note, I said questions...

Hello everyone! I'm another wannabe ex-smoker who, until seeing this forum, thought I knew a bit about e-cigs. It appears I know nothing Doh...I've tried 5 different e-cigs and the starter kits - got 'em all stacked up, staring at me...and all of them are not what I want and none of them do the 'job' either. I've had a quick scoot around on the forum - all looking great - but have to admit I'm a bit scared of going onto 'DIY juice' thingies - they look a bit alarming, no, terrifying - but if they work for me, then I'm up for everything and anything and I can learn...(I've still got a few little grey cells left, I think) Don't know if I should or am allowed to mention this bit here, but the main problem I have with e-cigs, is that give me terrible indigestion! I know I'm odd, so that's OK, but if anyone else said they had the same experience too, I would be soooo grateful to know that I'm not that odd! Anyway, thank you for any pointers you can give me. I will be very, very grateful and so will my husband, my son, my bank manager...and my little old lungs. They need a nice holiday now!
