AAEC isn't working for me on everythingliquid.co.uk. I'm ordering PG and VG totalling £35.98, so it's over £20 but it says "this coupon is not applicable to your basket contents".
Are there any other codes for them that are working?

I know every one has there own way that works for them when it comes to coils and wicks It's just a matter of trial and error till you get it right. You need to try and get your coils spaced a little more evenly a tidy screw driver helps ,just push and pull the wraps of the coil till they are spaced evenish I tried cotton on these but had no joy so now I use rayon as cotton did not wick fast enough but rayon does , for me any way Now I have them set up fairly well and they taste good Just read wat every one is saying ,take on board how you would like to do them and persevere When you make changes ,make small changes and in time you will get there Good luck Sorry, missed the last few replies somehow. Thanks for the suggestions. Anyway, I seem to have got better at wicking, not getting any spitting now at least. I still sometimes find my first attempt is rubbish and I'm getting dry hits and have to immediately re-wick but I'm learning to get the wick close enough to the juice channels so that it wicks the juice without blocking them. As for the coils, I bought a batch of ready-coiled ones but annoyingly they come with both ends pointing the same way, so to start with you have to bend one end to point in the other direction. Even then it doesn't really line up with the block, hence why the coils end up being rather compressed together and poorly spaced. It is possible to tweak them a bit with a screw driver as you suggest but it would probably be better if they had one less loop in the coil, so I'll try unwinding one loop next time. It's quite fiddly trying to hold one end of the coil and bend the other end even with tools, so I'll wait until I've got the time to be patient before I try that! I've been needing to mix up some more juice for about the last week but I've been so busy I just took the few ready-made 10ml 10mg juices I had at the back of the cupboard and diluted them to 30ml 3mg juices (I vape at 3mg now, 10mg is way too strong for me). That's only going to get me through another few days though, so I really need to get on with it. It doesn't really take me that long to knock up 6 30ml bottles which last me 2-3 weeks anyway.

Thanks guys. I didn't want to just buy some without recommendations as it's not always possible to tell how squishy they are from the picture/description. I've got plenty of choices now though, thanks

I like the soft squeezy bottles that my pre-made e-liquids come in and have been re-using them as much as possible, rather than the hard plastic ones that came with my DIY kit, as they're too hard to easily squeeze the juice out of.
I've only got 10ml bottles at the moment but I want to get some 30ml ones, as I'm vaping quite a lot and 10ml doesn't last long, so if I could mix up into 30ml bottles instead I'll be able to make a larger batch and not have to be mixing so often.
So does anyone know where I can buy soft squeezy 30ml bottles (with removable tips of course) from?

Thanks tim, I'll try making them thinner. I think one of the earliest videos I watched said to use a 6mm strip, which was way too thick and I've been trying for around 3mm and even then I have a bit of difficulty getting it through the coil but I think it's meant to be fairly tight, at least when I made one before that wasn't tight it didn't work very well either. I guess I just need to try a few different thicknesses until I get it right.

I've been having problems again since I got the ready wound coils and more cotton pads
With the first coil I tried, I was getting loads of dry hits. I think I even tried re-wicking and it didn't help. So I thought I'd try the other OCC head I hadn't used yet and that was giving me grief and horrible tastes as well, even though the first one worked fine.
So I tried another coil and wick in the RBA and got it a bit better and I'm not getting so many dry hits anymore (I seem to get them most often just after topping up the tank, even though there is still enough juice in the tank to stop the wick drying out and the wick is indeed saturated) but I've been having loads of juice leaking from the air hole and spitting hot juice hitting my tongue, which is rather unpleasant!
I rewicked it again and took some pictures this time (sorry about the poor quality/focus), in case anyone can see where I'm going wrong.
This is how the previous wick looked before I removed it.
Some shots of the new coil fitted.
Wick added.
Wetted with juice and poked in from the sides.
How it looks today, after about 36 hours.
I went back and read this thread and realised that I've been pushing the ends of the wick up, rather than down towards the juice channels, so I've just changed that and I'll see if it helps but can anyone say what is most likely to be causing leakage and spitting juice. Even when I wasn't getting the hot spitting juice (probably before I fitted the current wick) I found I was still sucking up a fair bit of juice into my mouth rather than vapour.

spaced Seems you were right, unfortunately! The new Cloupor Mini does the same and stops working when the battery still has 45-50% charge. It's rather annoying because if it was able to use all the charge, one battery would probably last me all day but as it is, I have to use two. Are there any mods that are able to utilise the full charge of the batteries or would I just have to try and find something that takes a 5000mAh battery, as half of that would be about what I'm getting out of my two 2500mAh batteries?

That is probably about right. The Cloupor has internal battery protection to stop you discharging your batteries too much and damaging them. If I recall right it is 3.5v or 3.3v that the cloupor cuts off at, and then your charger would not show it fully discharged. And a full discharge is bad for the battery life, and also may make it impossible to recharge. Hmm, there's a big difference between fully discharged and half discharged though. I'll check the voltage with my multimeter next time the battery stops working in the Cloupor.

I'm pretty sure it was just a dodgy cable letsavit . It was a short one that was connected to a long extension and then to a wall adapter when it warmed up and the next day when I connected just the short lead to my USB hub the hub started making a worrying whining noise, so I think the cable was poor quality and had shorted. Haven't had any problems since binning that lead, either charging from the wall adapter (now with a single long lead) or from the hub but it does seem to have damaged the electronics in the Cloupor so that it's misreading the battery as flat when it still has 50% charge. I don't leave it charging unattended anyway, so it should be safe to keep using until I get the new one.

I'm certainly not at the head modding stage yet. I agree that less cotton is better, despite some videos suggesting you should leave long tails and tuck them up inside the cover that seems to just clog things up for me, so I keep the tails quite short and that seems to keep things flowing nicely.

Yeah Perpetua, they don't cost much so I'll just get another one. I'm going to get this silver one, just because my current one is black and it will stop me mixing them up www.fasttech.com/products/3032/10009433/2032100-authentic-cloupor-mini-30w-variable-wattageI don't urgently need it, as the current one still works, so I'll just select the free shipping, as I normally do. Some orders have arrived much quicker than others but the e-packet option only reduces the typical time from 6-20 days to 9-14 days (which is actually an increase at the lower end), so it's not worth paying the extra $2.50 as far as I'm concerned.

No Perpetua, I bought it off a friend when he upgraded to something else. I was quite happy with it originally and only after a dodgy cable heated up when I was charging it once did it seem to be lasting less time between charges, so I'm sure it was fine when he sold it to me. I thought it might just have been the battery that got damaged, which is one of the reasons why I bought some more but even the original battery shows 45-50% charge remaining in the Nitecore when the Cloupor says it's flat, so it must be the mod itself that's damaged in some way.
