At the very least you should have an ohm meter for testing coils and better a multimeter. Shorts in amech mod can cause a thermal reaction in your battery which can lead to it venting toxic fumes and in e worst case fires. While this is unlikely with IMR batteries it is not completely impossible.

There's a short in it somewhere. Try it witha new coil and also check the positive pin in the bottom is insulated from the rest of the atomiser

The mixing calculator on this site works fine with ipad. There are others online that you can use. Or if you have an android phone there are apps for it

Put your atty on and hold down the right plus button. It will show how many ohms your coil is. It won't fire under 1.2 and shows low load.

The resulting flavour is roughly the same as what I imagine rancid pilchard would be like. Hmmm, always looking at new exciting flavours.... one for a lab test mix maybe? Only if you have a cat that vapes. For human taste it wasn't pleasant. Probably wasn't steeped nearly long enough. Might have to dig it out of the back of the cupboard sometime and try it again |

There's a short in it somewhere if the battery is getting hot. Take the battery out and check the insulation in the top cap and switch. Batteries heating up is a sign that something is very wrong. It could be either the mod or the attie. Check that the positive post in the attie has an insulator around it and it isn't shorting there. Not an expert but that would be where I would start
