For the first couple of days I checked mine just so I could get an idea how long the battery will last in a mech. You will notice the drop off when it gets down around 3.6 to 3.5. Mostly my coils are around 1 ohm and my genesis is 1.5 ohm and it's easy to tell with both. You won't get the same with a vv vw device because they have electronics inside to keep your vape the same till you hit low voltage. From my experience battery life is much longer in a mech anyway

ohhhhhh goshhhhhhhhh erik514 - that's another thread to be closed for money purposes icon_shoppingm - but I will at least wait till tomorrow - maybe Haha yes indeed. Who said vaping is cheaper than smoking? Hasn't worked out that way so far for me anyway and probably never will. It seems there is always something new to try

thanks Sally - I already had a look at MRs Lords - what do you all think makes her liquids superior ? They taste like their description unlike most. Come in a nice bottle, they feel like they have more of a personal touch

Cheers for the advice , gonna just leave it ...ffs feels like being a kid and having a top of the range bmx , but the wheels am coming in a weeks time What if its still well rough in a weeks time , shall i try 70/30 vg pg mix That's up to you but if it was mine and it still isn't good next week then I'd leave it for a few more days. I know people say that some sweet fruit flavours don't take long but some do. I use flavourart strawberry and when it's mixed on its own it's useable after about 3 days, but if I can leave it alone for 2 to 3 weeks it really is awesome. After 2 weeks it starts to change in colour a bit and it loses it's roughness and that's when the flavour seems to mature. You might want to leave your juice for that long too and see what difference it makes. For some flavours the longer you can leave them the better.

2000 cigs not smoked and £800 pounds not spent (supposedly ) milestone! Just spotted my footer has ticked over these figures, the cigs figure is roughly correct I guess but the money figure is all lies lol!Need to update my actual spend figures too, probably £100+ needs adding icon_shoppingm Still pretty pleased with the no cigs part. Congratulations . That's a good excuse for a new mod and atty (as if an excuse were ever needed for vapemail anyway)

All juice will seem harsh if they are completely fresh. When you mix you are adding different different liquids together and they are different thicknesses, flavours, and have completely different characteristics. Even if you just add PG and VG they take time to blend. Next time you make a mix give it a shake then hold it up to the light and have a look. You should be able to see the different liquids in the bottle, some thicker than others. It's just time that helps them all blend together and taste nice. Set it aside for a week, give it a shake when you remember and I'm sure it will give you a nicer surprise when you eventually try it again

@purple1234 i have looked into these befor are the wics easy to do your self? as in replace and make? These and the kayfun are really simple to build. Have a look on youtube for tutorials showing how it's done. Some people prefer using cotton in them for wicks, I prefer silica. It's rally just a question of finding out what works best for you and practicing. The diff co in the vape from your I clears is huge though. Much more flavour and a much bigger nic hit. If your interested in rebuildables these are as good a place to start as anywhere.

Yep. Tighten the pin in the bottom switch, then put your atty on and adjust the top pin so it makes contact. Then all you need to do is either tighten or loose off the bottom switch to make it fir flush and stop battery rattle.

Why can't you lock it? Take the kick ring out and unscrew the button

Thanks for the warm welcome peeps! I'm not surprised that I got flamed for the e-Lite, as I had a feeling that it's not 'professional' or 'hardcore' enough. In answer to djs's (edited!) post, the only thing that I get from the e-Lite is consistency. The Wizard started to get a dreadful burnt taste so I changed the top burner thing (please excuse the incorrect terminology!) thinking it was due to be swapped out. The new one was just as bad. Worrying that I'd go back to stinkies, I popped to WHSmith next to where I work to see what they had to offer, hence the e-Lite. Indeed there was far less oomph, but there was also far less burnt taste. Figuring that this was miles better than going out and getting 'proper' fags I stuck with it for a few days. Now at this stage, I have to admit that at the time I was starting to get a nasty cold and bad throat, so I'm happy to concede that this may have been a major factor in the nasty taste. I certainly get more oomph from the Wizard, but I still get a strange taste. Although I still have a cold... I'll check out the links that you all suggested and see what it's all about. Hi and welcome its not about being professional or hardcore. The cigalikes really are overpriced rubbish. I also used them at first and while I still think they are bad they do serve as a stepping stone to better things. An initial investment of 20 or 30 quid will get you a really good starter kit which will give you a much better vaping experience. And it will end up being a fraction of the price of your cigalikes. You buy juice to keep it going in whatever flavour you fancy, this could be tobacco, or bubblegum, or custard, or strawberry. Any flavour you want is out there. Even bacon and roast beef but I don't advise them at all. Once you have the right starter kit and juice it really is cheap. Probably about £1 per day. After that it's really up to each person how simple and cheap they want to make it. A £20 kit will give you a good vape, as will the hand made £200 mods. The choices are endless. Anyway I hope you enjoy it here, we are a friendly bunch so if you need any info just ask

Think I'm still looking for that elusive " all day vape" flavour Clivia, it seems to be the holy grail of vaping ! Lol Like a lot of others I don't have an all day vape either. If I were you I would stop looking for it and run with all the variety you can find. Today I have vaped some RY4, hazelnut caramel, espresso, custard, strawberry and spearmint. The variety of flavours is one of the things I love about vaping. Here's hoping I never find my all day vape

What I've found with hotspots is you don't really want to move the coils too much because that changes the oxidised part of the mesh. What I do is try and get them spaced before I fire it then if there is a hotspot (pretty much always is one) just press the hot coil against the wick and with a bit of fiddling it works it's way out.

Not for me . . . besides being beyond my technical abilities, the dessert/custard flavours I prefer had all the taste stripped out of them using mesh. But they are hugely popular, so what do I know. I would have said the same until this week. i made a new mesh wick and coil for mine this week and surprisingly got it first time with no hotspots. Added the first juice I found and vaped. It was t juice colonel custard and it was really good. Nice and creamy with lots or flavour and vapour. Since then I've had jack the ripple and strawberry in it and all have been really good. Full flavour with them all. Ill never manage it again I don't expect because I did it just the same as I usually would so have no idea how to make it work with sweet flavours again, but at least I know it can work now

Jpl 7000 add a little Milton fluid, I clean everything even mech tubes and us for steeping How would you go about steeping using a ultrasonic cleaner please ? I would agree with fagin and just be patient. It seems that nobody can agree on whether or not it speeds up steeping so I would say on balance it doesn't work. If it did there would be clear agreement about it instead of some saying yes and some saying no. Same goes for microwave method. Didn't make any difference really when I tried it and also nicotine doesn't like heat so counterproductive in the end. ultrasonic for cleaning patience for steeping
