Thanks all. I don't know what ohms the coils are. Have taken a photo of the box, back and front, just in case you recognise what they are. Looked on the coil itself and says only CE what I can make out anyway. I don't have the Ileaf or Eleaf, man who was selling it was english and I can't make out the accent, me being scottish like you Jane. I was born in Aberdeen so there you go......... I change the coil about every 4 days, as I like the vape better with a newer coil. Gets expensive, but hey not so expensive as the old ciggies, so I ain't complaining. Actually it runs in my mind it might be 8ohms, don't know where I got that from, maybe the vendor. What's rms setting and mean setting please? (I'm good at making apple tarts, excuse for ignorance here).. Yes, I turned it down a bit and I don't think it is spitting just as much, but I like the vape better when it's higher. Oh Lordy is this making any sense? Nope can't get images on.................sorry.

Recently all my juices are sparking up out of the drip tip just when I press the button at first. Not nice. Sometimes the wee spark which is hot juice, hits me in the eye. I have to remember to let it spark before having a puff. Other thing is, my 'pipe' gets really hot at the connection bit. I am using aspire spinner and sometimes just an ego. Aspire bottom coils. Do you think it is the coils? I like them I must say, but never noticed this dam sparking before . Thanks all. Oh the new Eleaf battery looks good to me, do you think that would help or is it def. down to the coils?

Thankyou for answering. These are much fatter and look smaller than what I have, but would they be o.k. for the vision spinner? You were a good soul answering so quickly. Funny, I can't get on with the day, till I get sorted out with another tank. Just shows what my priorities are eh??? Thanks.

Hi, It's ages since I've been on, must be happy vaping. Well till now that is. I got a new vision Spinner from Ian in Carlisle market. Great, love it. He also fitted two new tanks on it. Loved them as well. Thing is, I dropped the whole thing on to tiles yesterday and broke the tank. Because I can't get up to Carlisle for the next week or so I would like another tank to replace it. I would hate to be without. I tried to read the name on the tank but it is difficult, so I'll try to explain in the hope somebody might know what it is and I can order another on the internet till I get up to Carlisle again. It holds 2.4 and appears to have ospire printed on the bottom. The screw bits where it fits to the battery and the mouthpiece are criss cross and the coil is a wee thing which screws in and you can't see a wick though there must be one I am thinking. There are two holes in the metal upright bit of the coil. I'm sorry I can't be any more specific. Now I am wondering if any tank would be o.k. and if so, what would be good. I don't want to be drawing my jaws together with the others I had before, which were evod. While I am here, does anybody get their liquid spitting out of their tank when their battery goes on. I don't like that much, cos its hot, and I don't know if its the liquid or not. I would appreciate anybody's help. Thanks. I'm good at making apple tarts though!!!!

The consensus seems to suggest it is me, but I am not convinced. Still no one ever thinks it could be them do they? Especially me who is always right even when I'm wrong I will try Mrs. Lord's juices now and see if they last longer flavour wise. Just watched a video review on one of their flavours. The person in the video was obviously getting what I want from juices, so this has to be my final test. I will moan on no more, and bear in mind that even if I am vaping bland juice, it's got to be better than smoking rollies!

Well maybe you are right about the taste bud thing, but I think you are being completely and totally honest. Remember what I was saying about the King with no clothes! I hope it is the taste bud thing, but I really doubt it, since I can taste everything else with no problem, even very subtle flavours such as vanilla in ice cream and cake icing, so I don't think I have a taste bud problem and it possible you don't either.l I suspect but have no evidence that it is the flavouring in the vaping liquid. I wish I could prove it, but obviously cannot. I have no idea why this happens, but the problem exists. More people need to come forward with the same problem and maybe we can pin it down in some way. I haven't found one liquid, except the ice mints and menthols which can hold it's taste to the end of the tanks. I have hope though, that someone somewhere will solve this. BTW Spikus, did you ever taste your liquids from first to last puff on your magic sticks? Or is this just a recent problem? Would love to know. Thanks for your input.

Crikey, that must be a bit of a fiddle and not very convenient when in company or travelling. There's obviously a need for it, or it wouldn't exist. Fascinating.............

Hi Piddy, I do that anyway. Have 2 flavours on the go at any one time. Same thing, flavour disappating after few puffs. I cannot understand why no one else experiences this.

You folk seem to know what you are talking about, and I haven't a clue about any of that in depth stuff at all. I do know though, with every single flavour I have tried since starting to vape I have had the same experience, as I described before. I wish there was an answer. Different tanks and batteries haven't changed what I am experiencing. If every puff was as good as the sample I get in the shops, vaping would be heavenly. How come the shops can do that? I wanna do that too, . Yes, I have been back to the shops and asked if I was doing something wrong and how come the flavour disappears. I have had so many different explanations, tried most of them, without a result. Everything from priming? (that was a good one), made no difference at all and I couldn't see how it could anyway, to different ways of taking a puff, I ask you.............!!!!! This morning, I left off vaping for 4 hours then went back to my blueberry. Nah, as I expected, I could smell it faintly, but no taste, just the throat hit and that was it. Yes, I understand about the first taste of anything being the best, before you actually get right into whatever food and drink you are eating/drinking, but the taste is just the same at the end and beginning. Is this the King with no Clothes experience I wonder..............

Hi Ronaldo, Been there, done that, same thing. If it's half filled, first few vapes, ok, after that tasteless. Stands to reason, half the liquid gets heated up more than a full tank does. Battery press is for the same length of time so same power for half tank as full tank, ie the half tank gets more heat. This seems logical to me since as your liquid gets reduced in your tank, there is less of it with same heat process as when it is full. Base line, I think this is my answer, could be wrong, but it happens with every liquid, from expensive to cheap. I find it disappointing and am envious to those who seem to get full flavour from beginning to end. Are they really ?????

Nah, Markm, I don't believe this, though I thank you for answering. I think there's a more scientific reason, ie constantly reheating reduces the flavour. I would love to know if that is the case. I think it is more marked in different flavours too. ie the menthol and peppermint, because they are strong, keep their flavour better whereas at the other end of the scale, ie watermelon, it disappears amazingly quickly. Because there is no evidence, of course it could be blamed on de sensitisation of taste buds, but I am not convinced. There must be more folk than me who has noticed this. If you take the remaining juice out of your clearo and put it in a new one, complete with new battery, same thing flavour reduced, so it is not the equipment. Can't do an experiment on my taste buds, so it's easy to blame that and not the liquid. Any food which is constantly boiled will lose its flavour or burn, so where's the difference?
