You are right I know now. I have bought knitting wool from China with no problem so I envisaged the same experience this time. I didn't consider I would have to calculate a trade off if things went wrong, I didn't expect anything to go wrong. Poor thinking, perhaps if I did, I wouldn't have bought there in the first place. Lesson learned. It's obviously a case of you pay your money and you take a chance. .

Success! Sort of................I got an email because I resent my enquire via 'sales'. Thought that would get through! Anyway would you believe this???? They asked me to make a video and upload it via utube then send them link. Hello............I am of the older generation and don't have a clue how to do this. I can just about take a video on my smart phone, with a bit of brain exertion, but upload to u tube, are you kidding????? I know these Chinese are smart but hey, this is old me in the u.k. can't keep up with that. I reckon, I'll just have to cut my losses and write it off as a mistake. Unless of course one of you clever folk can talk me through how to do it. Geeeez, I couldn't believe this!!!! No more fasttech for me, I'll leave it for you young smart folk.

I think they should change their name to slowtech! I reckon when they get an order, they are actually pretty quick considering where its coming from, but like all other businesses, slow as treacle when it comes to replacements/refunds or whatever. I'll just stick with my lovely man (you know who) in the market!

I don't know if its on or off, nothing on the wee screen, dead as a do do. I don't do patience much, like it all done yesterday and if I order something I want that yesterday too. icon_shoppingm. I will plug it in and leave it and see what happens, nothing lost. Had to send poor husband on a three hour round trip to get me another spinner so I have a back up when charging my original spinner. Ah well, thanks to all replies, much appreciated, Actually they aren't on holiday till next week, so they want to deal with my ticket RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! To tell the truth, I preferred the spinners anyway. A pretty wee box battery makes me think of incendiary devices. Never trusted it since day one anyway. Just my preference I suppose. Thanks all again. Love this board, don't know what I would do without it sometimes.

Hello all, I got an Earl (clone of eleaf) from Fasttech, good price cheaper than eleaf. Anyhow, after about 10 days, it is dead. Won't charge, no nothing. This is what I get for being a cheapskate. I contacted Fasttech via their website which says it will contact you within 24 hours. Nope they haven't. I can't get in touch with them again because they have a system of raising a numbered ticket, which is your order number. If you want to ask why they haven't replied to you, up comes the ticket again and it says if you add to it, it will go to the end of the queue. So if I ask why they haven't got in touch I go to the end of the queue again. Vicious circle, don't know what to do. This thing was under guarantee, so I expect a refund or replace. To finish off the tale of woe they are going on holiday or something soon for a week or so. Now I need to get a new battery, but this time, it won't be the other end of the world. Anybody complained to Fasttech? How did it go???

Thank you so much P. That was just what I needed. A wee bit too technical, but base line I understand what I am looking at now. Your suggestion of starting low was the key. I started too high I think, but now I have it pretty much sussed. You are a star, thanks again

Thanks Sydsut, I'll do that. I used to live in St. Leonards East Kilbride, now in Northumberland but relations still there.

Just got the above battery today, ooooh lovely pink one. . Trouble is I don't understand even though I was asking about the numbers on the aspire spinner. Great answers about voltage and wattage, for somebody who understands these, but not particularly for me, since I just used 4.3 and turned it up a bit when I felt the battery was lagging a bit. Now I have this battery (bought in in the hope of the charge lasting longer) it is giving me volts and watts . Aye right, so could somebody give me a clue what to set it at, for whatever seems normal. It goes up to 20 volts so I set it half way at 10, then when you press the button before you have a puff, the watts numbers run up like a cash register. I don't know if I have to wait till these watts numbers stop (I don't), but what is it doing, and am I supposed to wait till it reaches a certain number or what> Struth, I thought learning how to use the computer was a major challenge, now this as well. I only want a nice wee vape with no hassle. Thankyou.

That's great, thanks. Does the tank make any difference to the vape. I know the coil does, but I saw someone with the eleaf battery and I think it was a wee fat nautilus tank. Or is it just because these tanks hold more. Come to think of it, with a stronger battery and a fatter tank, you wouldn't have so much faffing, ie recharging and refilling. Is that the only advantage or is there more?

Finally got around to sending for the eleaf from the link somebody kindly gave me here. Thanks . Great, saves around £10, not to be sniffed at. It will probably take a week to get here I think. I still have a stash of 1.8ohm aspire coils, can I use those coils in this battery? Also can I use the tanks I already have, I think they might be aspire as well, but I am not sure, doesn't say on them and cannot remember what they are.
Thanks folks.

OMG watts as well! Ohms, volts and watts. It's nearly but not quite enough to send me to a shop for a roly kit again! No, only kidding, It's a year and l week since I last had a cigarette and there's no way I am going backwards now. I have a nice clean car, yeah!!! no ashtrays in the house and I can walk uphill much easier. Yes, easier not easy!!! What do you mean by saying its a long time since you used volts, are you using gas now???? I think it is getting way too complicated for me, I'll just have to play it by ear. I have progressed only a little bit from the ego's and I am happy with the spinner, (I like the rainbow colour) and the coils are fine, it's just the spitting and hissing I could do without. In saying that, I like the look o the e leaf and because it needs less charging it seems attractive. I get my stuff from a laddie on this forum who is very kind to me, and is willing to answer me what I ask and more. I do have to travel a 60 mile round trip to go his shop, it's just the hissing and spitting is worse and I won't see him again for a week or two. Thought you clever lot would know the answer. Now I have met myself coming back........ As for being a sassenach, well, it could be worse, you might have to be answering questions from a numptie Scot living in England!

I am ploughing my way through these suggestions. I have come up with set the spinner at 4 if that's the volts is that right?
Struth if I can't figure out the spinner there's not a lot of hope for the eleaf then is there? I mean me understanding the maths.
I was looking on ebay for an eleaf and most seem to be around the £30 mark which is what I was quoted by a vendor, oh no, it wasn't the vendor said £35, but now I see them as low as £20. I am wondering if these are fakes, you wouldn't really know would you?
I love you all by the way, you are a smashing bunch.

I usually have it at 4.3. but it still spits and sparks at that setting. If I set it lower, I don't get a good puff. Thankyou for the lesson, but I still don't understand. Ask me how many apples you need to buy for a tart, and I could tell you that, or even how many yards of fabric for a quilt, but ohms and volts, well I'm totally in the dark. Anyway how would I know if I wanted to vape at 5watts or not? Oh I appreciate your help, I really really do. It's an electrical minefield to me - sorry to say.

How did you learn this? Or rather how can I learn to be as knowledgeable?

Now I see it............ I missed it. Is 2.01 more or less than 1.8 meaning is it stronger/hotter the higher the ohms. How do you know which strength of coil to use in whatever battery? This is a scientific process! I wonder how many batteries/coils you have to try together before you get what you think is the perfect 'outfit' for you? There are so many different batteries, threads, cartomisers, it's enough to make you run for the hills (with your pipe of course)!
