I wanted to try something old skool and different so ordered a gg odysseus clone, now im reading about nr/r/nr wire, do I need this or can I use straight up kanthal? Be abit peeved if I cant, any pros about?

I got the focal one, atty can be a pain in the rear to coil but works, plus a battery extender for 18500 batts
