It strikes me that we do not have a forum rule against forms of discrimination. To that end, I would suggest that we make an addition to the forum rules, something along the lines of the following:
(9) This forum values the individual diversity that creates such a vibrant and valuable community. As a member of this community you will respect that diversity too.

Wasn't the a Samuel Beckett play "waiting for godot" I would have no idea at all, unfortunately I am about as well read as a 5 year old when it comes to literature. Did the play depict some dashing angelic westerner, putting his life on the line? All of his hopes, dreams and aspirations, just to try and get the treasure. This treasure being dangerous in the wrong hands had the potential for so much destruction, but when used by a man of nobel heart, it could bring great pleasure. Even at times to the masses that frequent the local drinking establishment, the second after noon on the final day of each month. But this treasure was hoarded by a dragon, mighty and red, who guarded it with the ferocity of a thousand lions. Luckily the angelic (and again, dashing) westerner knew the secret to defeat the dragon. He must stare, long and hard into the black eyes of the dragon, for if it blinked first, it's treasure would be lost forever. And then the westerner, knowing this secret, begins to stare at the dragon knowing that he may not be able to look away for 15 days, it would occupy his every thought, and fill his soul with lust. If so, it is probably quite a lot like this situation. |
