Hi all I read on a blog that tests show it would take 35 mins vaping at 18mg to get the equivalent of 1 cig. That can't be right? ??? My total vape time for a whole day is less than an hour. 20 x 2 minutes (max) I'm not on like 2 ciggies a day.... (or am I?) 35 minutes with an E-Lite, maybe 3 hours and 35 minutes more like..... thanks to @johanino the science can be found here: nicotine absorptionIf like me your into graphs see Graph

I just bought 10 new needles from ebay and blunted them myself using our knife sharpening stone. Took about 2 minutes per needle. Washed and ready for filling, coiling and mixing. needles

Hi Tim I'm a new vaper too! You found the best and friendliest forum. I purchased the evod kit from myepack almost 4 weeks ago, great value and works a treat! Sorry can't answer your question about charging.

Hi all Silly question no 1: I used to smoke (enjoyed typing that) 10 rollies a day. I am really enjoying vaping 18mg nic levels at home using about 3-5ml a day. One area that is not working for me is the 5 mins work break vape. On a full work day I'm probably only vaping about 0.4 ml including chain vaping on drive home. I read on a blog that tests show it would take 35 mins vaping at 18mg to get the equivalent of 1 cig. I wondered what you thought about this and whether I should up my nic level for work use or get a clearo that is thirstier than my evods and mini protanks? Thanks everyone for your replies, just ordered some 20mg nic juice from LTecigs, and will try the stealth loo vape until it is ready. I accidentally took a puff in the office the other day and no one noticed.

Hi jimuk87I've never used nicolites but started on the kit recommended above, it's fantastic value and faff free. I didn't even notice how quickly I'd cut down on smoking until last Friday when my last cig tasted awful and I couldn't finish it. So pleased I started vaping and great friendly advice on this forum!

Hi & welcome to the forum, aliscampbell & well done on your cig free couple of days, you're off & running. If seven friends are vaping too, you have ready made vapemeets! Unfortunately were are scattered over the midlands but I'll be keeping an eye out for local meets.

From reading other discussions on here im just worried about getting a powerful enough battery to do me for nearly a full day if its possible but yet staying away from the box type battery... I think it is difficult to gauge how much battery you will use until you start vaping. This will depend on life style, you can vape in places you wouldn't/couldn't smoke. What is your budget for setting up? Are you interested in the variable voltage (vv)style batteries that were listed above? I wasn't 3 weeks ago but now would now like an itaste vv as spare battery. I wanted to give it a fair chance but not spend too much so I went for the evod starter kit. I now know I LOVE *very happy*vaping and will add special shiny stuff icon_shoppingtimewhen funds allow.

Gosh I realise I must sound so dumb here but am a bit confused...people say for example itaste v3 with mini protank....what does it mean 'with' ...are these not two totally different devices which are both ecigs? Also when I look at started kits they come with it says coil head resistence ?.? Ohm.....does it matter what ohm they are or can these be changed to any ohm after I have it? itastev3 is the battery and mini protank is liquid holder. coil heads go in the liquid holder and need to be changed 1-2 weeks anyway. Coil head resistance ohms is simply put is about heat to the liquid. You can try different ones to see what you prefer when you buy more heads.

Lovely kit and on my wish list although would prefer a bigger battery. I think of a vv battery (variable voltage) like a volume control on flavour and battery life. I would prefer to have two batteries though.

As you are smoking 20 a day, I would say the batteries, 650 may not last you all day. But if you are mostly near a usb port then this would be a great starter kit, its what I bought and great value. You can always pick up a bigger battery later for £10, if like me you need longer battery life.
