Hi, jimuk87, welcome to the forum & the world of vaping. Well done on making a start with the Nicolites, but don't be surprised if you're given some friendly encouragement to move onto something that is more satisfying & helpful if you're wanting to give up the cigs.

Well done and welcome but Nicolites are not really the best and work out quite expensive. I'm sure more knowledgable people will be along shortly to help spend your money

jimuk87If the Nicolites are starting to get you off the fags then that is the main thing. But the others are right - there is better and cheaper stuff available. You can save money by refilling the cartomisers instead of buying new ones. There's a video here. There are lots of people who sell juices - there's a list with discounts here - if you tell us what you smoke, we can advise.

Thanks giles I was surprised as have tried other niotine replacements in the past and they had no effect. What would you say would be better refilling cartomisers or buying replacements

I'll cut to the chase, how much of your money would you like us to spend for you? Even a modest starter kit will be cheaper to run than your current gear and will be far more satisfying to use. There will also be a lot more flavours to try, name a flavour and someone on here can probably find you a juice!

jimuk87Treat the Nicolite as an "introduction to vaping" to see if you think a e-cig could replace smoking for you. Unfortuntely they are hard to use as a long term solution to smoking because they just don't perform well enough and are not made to refill. This means you are "locked in" to using their expensive cartridges with their over inflated prices. However you can refill the cartridges about 2 or 4 times if you get some liquid from one of our recommended vendors listed above. To REALLY get you started you'll need to spend around £30 on a device like CLICK METhis has 2 batteries so you have something to use while one battery is charging and should last a good few hours between charges, it's cigar size (it needs to be to incorporate the battery). Do you only have one Nicolite battery? As to cheap juice there are HUNDREDS of vendors but Myepack sells liquids as well HERE at £2.49 each As a quick guide: If you are a light smoker (up to 10 cigs a day) then choose 12mg strength If you are a medium smoker 10 - 20 cigs a day them choose 18mg strength 20+ cigarettes or rollie smoker then choose 24mg strength Good luck and keep asking and we'll try to help.

Welcome to you jimuk87. Your current equipment will be costly in the long run, although refilling the cartomizers will be less of an expense. I'd suggest something like this, with some eliquid and spare heads: myepack.co.uk/kits/evod-starter-kit.htmlShipping is free if you spend over £40. . . your Nicolites then could be a back up for you. * Crossed posts with Des. *

Greetings and jimuk87 to AAEC. As you have gathered by the above comments, your current equipment is a great introduction to vaping, but will be expensive in the long term. Some excellent links given and well worth investigating. If you do have any questions, always feel free to ask as we all had to start somewhere and on this forum, nobody will be judgmental or dismissive of you. Enjoy
