I'm guessing you have found a Kayfun Prime Tom, I know you are a Kayfun expert and wonder if you would share the build which you have gone with. I have tried several different builds and am not satisfied with the flavour with any of them. Any advice would be gratefully received. Peter

Following my receipt of the new SXK Kayfun Prime I put it through its paces specifically comparing it to previous Kayfuns with the emphasis on flavour. I am MTL vaper 70/30 pg/vg 6mg nicotine. I have 8 liquids on the go at any one time in rotation simply because that suits me and has replaced my 30 Marlboro habit. Builds are Kanthal 0.8 – 1.3 ohms 12w – 15w . The 2 SXK clones are well engineered, easy to build if you are used to the Mini V3 and did not smell of machine oil, but I gave them a good wash anyway. Vapes very smoothly but I found the flavour to be not as good as the Mini V3, which to me is the most flavoursome of all the Kayfun family. So where does it sit with my other Kayfuns :- Equal to Kayfun Lite with bell cap, not as good as KFL with Steam Tuners “Tiny” tank but well behind the Mini V3. Conclusion – I was looking forward to the Prime, thinking same flavour as V3, 22mm configuration absolute winner, but I am disappointed simply because the flavour is not good enough.

It's worth mentioning that this has the beauty ring so it fits nicely on a 22mm tube mod

From FT 2 SXK Kayfun Prime Pre-ordered these a couple of weeks ago and they have now been shipped, I only vape Kayfuns and if these are as good for flavour as the Mini V3 I will follow this order up with another. I have high hopes that the Prime will be good for flavour with the 22mm configuration which I prefer I wemt to FT's site to look at this and noted that all items labelled "Kayfun" havw disappeared. They only have a few things listed under KF (Prime, Mini V3 and a very few spares). Their vast range of spares and clones seem to no longer be available, which is a bummer. I think they have had a legal pull by Svoemesto and they disappeared from the site for a couple of days. They then re-appeared under the title KF could be that everything comes back with a new name eventually.

Have done a sample mix but had to substitute 2 of the concs - Cap vanilla custard to replace TPA and F'Art fresh cream to replace the Bavarian. Won't be the same as TJ 's but could be interesting

SCREWS
Deck screws: M1.6 x 0.3mm
Fill hole screws: Kayfun Lite: M2.5 Countersunk, length = 4mm (use this if the screw sits flush at the base). KFL+ : M2.5 Pan head, length = 4mm (use this if the screw is a round head and recessed in the hole).
I find that going with 5mm length is better - less leakage
