So tempted to order one but holding off in case I don't have the cash when it's ready. They look amazing and a great concept (FK3.1 screams for it)

tomj777 - does it have to be VG, because all of my eliquids are 70/30 PG/VG - a dollop of that on the o'ring will be ok, won't it? To be honest I don't truly know but I don't see why not. The goal is to stop them drying out (I guess the material the o'ring consists of may make this irrelevant although I'm not aware) In anticipation of starting mixing (about four months ago) I bought bottles of VG, PG and 72% base + a whole bunch of paraphernalia and I decanted a little VG into a 10ml bottle ('cause I bought a bunch of those as well)... Since then, whenever I've stripped an atty to clean I've always either rolled the o'rings a little or removed them / replaced them (my goodness Druide doesn't half swell them) and smeared VG across where the o'rings fit. I've not had one degrade yet (except those damned under the Kayfun cap aniseed/absinthe games). I did the same with whatever liquid I had kicking about on protank o'rings early on (once I'd sussed out they were a possible leak cause). On the same grounds, don't tighten protanks and the like to the point where you've crushed the o'rings (apparently - although heaven only knows how to tell what the right torque is).

Just a little note on o'rings... Keep the Atty o'rings lubricated with a little VG after a good clean...

I have done a google search for the milton ultra sonic & got endless sites about Milton Keynes hahahahaha This will go in an Ultrasonic cleaner . . . This probably won't . . . Probably true... But you've got to keep trying, huh?

Or Milton (ultra sonic it possible). If metal then diluted isopropyl alcohol (but only the metal).

I like small mods (that would look just so very wrong on a t'shirt)This is a SS Chi You clone from a ukv member, Hcigar Copper Nemesis from Vape-Geek and Phantom Brass Stingray clone from FyneModsAs you can see, the Nemesis sits in the middle (weighs 116g), Chi You on the left (127g) and the Stingray on the right (106g) Performance, well, the ChiYou clone has the greatest voltage drop along with the nicest switch, both Nemesis and Stingray have relatively little voltage drop - stingray being the marginal best. Both the Nemesis and Stingray have occasionally catches on the button when attempting to fire and at some point I'll have to try . The Nemesis has suffered the most abuse by nature of a four foot drop onto the patio, demonstrating the softness of copper (and solving the sticking locking ring at the same time) and of course has tarnished the most (threads and contracts to be spotless, non-functional bits should naturally age) My preference? The Stingray by a long shot. Just feels so very right in use and if I can't sort out the button catching that's okay (but I really must make time to strip and see if I can work out why it catches occasionally but until then...) Threading is perfect. Todd described the original as being a delight to use and it is. And pertinent to this thread - it's the shortest of the three. And it's great ( )

It's strange how music can have the opposite effect. I recall rising (just a little) from a very dark time to Lou Reed's Berlin-an album devoid of positivity. at other times, that album is not a safe album to listen to... No reason that I can find.

Too powerful for a response? Not sure about as a response but I thought pretty powerful showing the stark nature of waiting in a time of fear... Didn't like the latter part of the film clip though - seemed far to contrived (but that's probably just where my mind is tonight, alternatively it's a cinematographic form that I'm not familiar with and thus don't understand enough to appreciate, not that it really matters). But it's challenging - and challenging is good. Any-road, allow me, fellow board members, to throw a couple which, perhaps, won't naturally sit well on the old jukebox (just scanned the last few pages to get a feel of the thread). As always, music I reckon should have some personal meaning and thus I offer the first track, although not directly for the song title. It's from a mid-seventies band who's style melded with many others to create what, by the end of the decade, was to become punk (not that this is). One or two of you may like it, a few will hate it with a passion and most just won't care. And that's okay. I noticed Tubthumping posted earlier - great song, angry and cyncial and f'all to do with football and definitely not celebrating boozing it up. Anyhow, that band have a long catalogue and there's many to call out but tonight, I offer you this beautiful and sobering tune. And finally, I offer you something without a video and I hope it brings a smile. (oh - please forgive me if this one causes offence - For me it's the flow of thought leading to this concept of freedom / free will which challenges - and the illogic of this bit in the middle to the bit at the end amuses - and I believe that there's a bit that Dick and, I think, Jasper missed which makes this compatible with my faith)

Just one of a number of forums. I suspect a good turnout shall be seen. And if not, everyone will get to talk to everyone else. Either way it's good.

Keep an eye out mid may on guysmagnets on eBay. I spoke to them about a month ago regarding demand for N45 strength and she(he? Can't remember) found a source and ordered a batch (I think). Lead time was a couple of months then.

I wonder about doing something clever with thin silica above and below... Always worry about silica in drippers for some reason... Hate the thought of it shredding and...

I've seen the Vape mesh company mentioned a few times, they are only 2 or 3 miles from me, wonder if they'd let me go pick it up haha. Sent from my Nexus 7 using proboards Brilliant company (what is it about vaping companies... So few bad ones :-)) No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted
