Hi sleedale and welcome!
I'm quite a newbie too and I have the naturevape mini with a vision spinner. I've yet to experiment with them properly yet, but I can say, if you do go for the nature vape clearo, give it a good clean before you use it for the first time, leave the juice in the tank when you fill it up for the first time so the wick gets nice and saturated, and allow the cotton wick to bed in before casting judgement on it. Also take some time to fiddle about with the voltage on the spinner.
I didn't do all this when I got mine and it tasted absolutely foul! I was so disappointed and thought I'd wasted my money, but realised my mistakes (thanks to peeps on here ) and I'm a lot happier with it now.
You've been vaping a lot longer than me so probably know more than I do, but I may aswell add that if you're going for a change, possibly try one new thing at a time. Again, I made the mistake of changing too many different things at once and then when things went wrong I had a hell of a job narrowing down what the problem/s was/were!
Hope that helps a little bit
MissT
oh, and Roscopecotrain has just done a good little vid that explains the difference vv can make here allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/40068/introduction-cigs-cigalikes-variable-voltage?page=1&scrollTo=696357 It's towards the end

Yay! That is good to hear @alopezg1! Remember the support isn't a one off on here - when people hit a wall and come to post about it, it doesn't take long for the troups to rally round - I've seen it again and again And even if a solution isn't found right then and there on the spot, there's lots of suggestions made to follow up on and in the meantime, as you said, just the venting alone helps. Plus getting all the replies reminds you that you're not alone. Makes ya feel all warm an fuzzy inside, don't it? Wait, maybe that's me panda onesie... (I didn't just say that out loud did I?...)

i gave up a long time ago on actually getting worthwhile advice from a doctor regarding my mental health I hear you with that one!!
This is why I took a different route with my mental health care and went into therapy. That's what made the difference for me. Actually, it's been a combination of the two that's worked best for me, different proportions at different times. Also I would say that it needs to be the RIGHT meds at the right time. There's an awful lot of trial and error involved with finding the right one for you at a given time tho.
I do hear you about keeping up with meds just to avoid the withdrawal too. I find myself in much the same position there so can sympathise.

Ahh right. Me too. How long since your meds were reviewed? Is your doc aware of this latest attempt to quit smoking? Could be that you could do with upping the dosage or changing the meds as your body acclimatises to not smoking. 9 weeks is long enough for your body to feel those effects. Then as you go along you can lower the meds again.

Again, forgive the presumption, but might it be an idea to look into treatment for the depression/anxiety which addresses the chemical imbalances in the brain which happen with those illnesses? You'd probably find giving up the cigs easier if you're not dependant on them, as you suspect, for the other chemicals found in them. (Does that make sense?)

@alopezg1 I'm feeling concerned for you, you're obviously going through a real tough time. Forgive me if this is too presumtious, but it seems to me that this is about more than 'just' smoking or 'just vaping' difficulties. Although it does sound like you've strong associations with smoking making you feel awful. Not sure what to suggest. Is there anyone close to you you can contact right now, who can maybe support you better than people on a forum can?

Hi all,
Been off for a few days and just noticed the date. Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but the thing is at Henry's Cellar Bar this Sunday (18th May) from 5pm til late. Looks like a general celebration of the shop's 2 year anniversary? They have a facebook page here www.facebook.com/events/536157713167915/permalink/546193445497675/ I think a coiling workshop was mentioned at some point, and some freebies an such.
I'm thinking I'll try and go if I can, but a bit nervous cos I'll be on my own.
Anyway, if anyone does make it, I'll be the slightly chubby one with very long blondish hair and a walking stick hiding in a corner somewhere chainvaping!

Ah hah! Thanks for that guys I'm looking for one with a separate tank that you can lift out and empty tho as, being a bit disabled, I'm likely to get water in the electronics if I have to lift the whole thing up. I know it's not that big to lift, but I've read some reviews of people having those kind of probs and the cleaner conking out as a result. The second link is a JPL one, 7050 number seems to apply to a slightly larger tank but similar thing, I thought? Perhaps a bit newer model? Also need for it to be delivered as can't get out to shops that easily. JPL looks good tho, and seems like good customer service if things do go belly up? Anyone got any experience of the other one?
