1% I use Tom in lots of my mixes now, not just the Custardy ones - adds an extra creaminess, without being sickly. Which I like. Then there's the Custardy Lovechild recipe where it makes all the difference: Perpetua is it right that you mix the powdered Vanillin with 2/3 of a teaspoon into 10ml of PG then add it at 1% ?

Cheers for that Perp How much would you add to say 30ml of diy? From what ive researched its 2/3 of a teaspoon into 10ml of PG .... guessing your putting tiny amounts into the final mix so 10ml of it will last ages

Looks about right to me &joojitsoo. As sleedale said, any custard juice will need an absolute minimum of 4-6 weeks steeping time, so plenty of patience is essential. Mr Lairey, who was until last week, an exclusively tobacco vaper, has decided he now likes custard juice, so I'm going to have to step up my mixing as I only have 200ml steeping! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Cheers for taking a look lairey i know you are the custard Queen round these parts :-) will that super sweet sweetner be ok ? Its going to be tough holding out for 4 weeks but i will try, need to order some Digbys Mums Custard in to tide me over, wife wont be happy because ive spent about £120 this last 3 days on vaping lol, went into my local vape shop yesterday just to get an emergency 30ml of Colonel Custard (needs must) ended up spending £86, least i have a new SVD and a nautlis mini though Do any of the quick steeping methods work do you think ? like microwave or on a radiator .....even heard of strapping a bottle to a car wheel and driving all day, being a trucker i would do it if it worked Cheers for all replies

So reminds me of my son --- whos 22, I've trained him to pat down his jean pockets chanting 'right front = phone, left front = door key, left back = wallet, right back = passport/ID' he'd leave his head behind of he could! Hahaha your describing my work trousers ...every pocket has an item, said items are ALWAYS in that pocket or else ill forget them

Is there any truth in silica being a slight risk over the others because of particles being inhaled into the lungs anyone know ?

Totally agree, since i got my Aerotank Mega its all i use, i used the stock coils to start but then put a rebuilt 1.6ohm micro coil in it and daaaaamn its even better ......love it Did you make a dual micro or single? I have been re wicking the prebuilt coils with cotton and it makes a big difference. Just a normal single micro coil using a protank 2 coil head, i didnt realise you could tamper with the stock coils, looked into it briefly when the mega tank came out but not since, going to check that out because i did like the stock coils, i can imagine they would be awesome if modyfied :-)

Hi guys, So i have had an IGO-L for a while now and although i like it, i have never LOVED it, i use a 1.5ohm micro coil with organic cotton wool balls for a wick and although it gives an okay vape its not much better in terms of flavour and clouds compared to my Aerotank or Protank 2 So i was thinking about making a dual coil for it but the only battery i have is an Itaste VV Surely a dual micro coil will give me twice the amounts of vapour and flavour than i am currently getting right ? but what kind of ohms will 2x 1.6ohm micro coils come out at and more importantly can a itaste VV run this kind of contraption. Should i be making 2x 0.75 ohms coils to give me a total voltage of 1.5ohms ?? Hahaha this rebuilding lark is never easy and i love it but just asking for a few opinions before i get started, any kind of help would be amazing A single micro of something like the 28G (0.32mm), wrapped 10 times round a 1.6mm needle or bit will give you around 1.3 ohms, line the coil directly in line with the air hole on the top cap, makes a big difference. Use a tiny piece of cotton, thread it through and pull it back and forth a few times to make sure it's not to tight, trim the ends leaving just enough cotton to lay down the sides even under the coil a little but make sure there's plenty of room around the coil. Try that and see how it goes. I'm not familiar with the igo L but I wouldn't stick dual coils in anything that doesn't have dual air holes, air flow is pretty important. Some cracking gems of info there mate, when i thread my wick i am defiantly doing it way tighter than you describe, there is no pull backwards or forwards ...its firmly wedged in place .... think i also might have to much wick in the bowl itself, going to try what you say ...will report back ....thanks for all the replies guys ...thats why i love this site
