The aerotank is a decent tank - just because an igo-l is a dripper doesn't mean it will give a better vape automatically! You'd be better using any tank you own and turning your itaste right up - if you're already at the watt limit and it's not giving you the vape you want, it's time to get a new mod with more power, or a mech mod. Two 2.4 ohm coils will give you 1.2ohms overall, but it will take ages to heat up. If you want a 1.2 set-up, you'd be better with a single coil IMO - it'll heat up quickly. Two coils doesn't necessarily mean twice the vapour. But as you are using a regulated mod, the resistance of your coil won't make a difference as the power is regulated through the device. It sounds like it's time to go bupy some high drain batteries and a mech mod for you I think you have explained it perfectly there mate, think i am expecting results from the IGO that isnt possible with my current battery ...... just the kind of info i was after before i went building pointless coils .....cheers Need to bite the bullett and go Mod shopping

Yeah man, ive got an aerotank, an aerotank mega and 2x protank 2 both with adjustable airflow, they all work sweet with 1.6 ish micro coils in them, its the IGO-L that i think is under performing, 1.6ohm micro coil and it is just like vaping on my RBA's i expected more from it hence why im looking to beef it up with dual coils

Yup as blakey said with dual coils the overall resistance is not calculated the same way as a single coil. Dual coils resistance =( ohms coil one + ohms coil two )/4 (1.6 + 1.6) / 4 = 0.8ohms . SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF WRONG My rule ( I emphasise it's my rule) anything lower then 1ohm equals mech mod territory or a regulated DNA mod . Try aiming for a single coil at 1.6 to 1.8 ohms you will still get bags of flavour a cotton wick . I do currently run a 1.6ohm micro coil in it, and to be honest its not much better than my Aerotank in terms of flavour or clouds, maybe it needs drilling out because it is quite a hard drag ??

2x 1.6 coils will give you 0.8ohms over all, you're i-taste will not fire that low. Also when using dual coils you need a little more power, the power is shared between both coils. Wow thats confusing :Dproves i really dont understand ohms lol So any idea what the lowest my Itaste could run at ? say its 1.2ohms what would each coil need to be in order to get an overall ohm of 1.2 ? Or am i just flogging a dead horse and should upgrade to a decent mod that cant handle low and dual coil voltages ?

Hi guys, So i have had an IGO-L for a while now and although i like it, i have never LOVED it, i use a 1.5ohm micro coil with organic cotton wool balls for a wick and although it gives an okay vape its not much better in terms of flavour and clouds compared to my Aerotank or Protank 2 So i was thinking about making a dual coil for it but the only battery i have is an Itaste VV Surely a dual micro coil will give me twice the amounts of vapour and flavour than i am currently getting right ? but what kind of ohms will 2x 1.6ohm micro coils come out at and more importantly can a itaste VV run this kind of contraption. Should i be making 2x 0.75 ohms coils to give me a total voltage of 1.5ohms ?? Hahaha this rebuilding lark is never easy and i love it but just asking for a few opinions before i get started, any kind of help would be amazing

DEFINITELY as others have said, line the airhole up exactly where the coil sits or else it will be so harsh on the throat that its not pleasant at all, just a couple of millimeters out makes all the difference between a nice flavoursome perfect vape and a nice flavoursome throat burning chest setting on fire vape

Top man, ENJOY the moment, you don't need special tools except a blow torch for micro-coils.A gas cooker works a treat if you havent got a blowtorch, just be careful not to set fire to your hands

Hey guys, I really do love the look of the Vamo v5 and i intend to get one, just curious though, do these different mods add anything to the vape ? ive used an itatse vv for 2 months now would a vamo give me a better vape than that or is all about the look / feel ?
Cheers

Could a machine really fit a coil and wick into a head ?
I dont think it could, i bet the coils are wrapped onto silica by a machine but surely the rest has to be done by human hand ?

Hiya, I was just having a moment of contemplation whilst sucking on my micro coiled Aerotank, blowing out clouds of sweet tasting custard vapour , we all know that home built coils are the best especially if you've mastered a micro coil type build, so was just wondering if anyone knows how Stock coils are made ? are they factory machine produced ? or is there some poor workforce, forced to hit targets and therefore producing sub par coils ? do people actually make stock coils or is a big fail machine ? now ive typed this it seems like a stupid question but anyone know ?

I think I am around 35ml but I voted 40, that's 16mg as well, I'm happy with the amount of juice but next juices are going to be 9mg strength, I could hear my eardrums beating last night in bed after chain vaping

Once regulations kick in it will most likely become a considerable issue for new or unprepared vapers. For established vapers with a good range of Mods, RBAs & a stockpile of Nic Base all they will need is : V.G. P.G. Flavouring Wicking material Kanthal Batteries ........................ All of which i reckon will still be readily available. Unless you feel you can trust those that represent us to do the right thing, you might like to stock up with the items listed above..... not trying to cause panic in the streets here, just sayin'. As if shinyitis wasn't bad enough, I now need to stockpile everything hehe

LOL that's a very good point .... You mean that's a very worrying point!! Here's what the EU directive says: "g) electronic cigarettes and refill containers are child- and tamper-proof, are protected against breakage and leakage and have a mechanism that ensures refilling without leakage. "
Currently there aren't any refillable ecigs that are child and tamperproof, nor is there a mechanism to refill one without leakage.i.e. it looks like there isn't an ecig that would satisfy the requirements of the TPD. = Very worrying indeed! Please sign the European Free Vaping Initiative (EFVI) to try to give Vapers a voice in all this. Very worrying indeed it will be some kind of new invention that costs a fortune, ceedee said it best, I'm off to sign now

Bottles of juice limited to 10ml Refillables to be banned Am i being dim or have i missed something. What have i to do with my 10ml bottle if i've got nothing to refill LOL that's a very good point
edit just seen this
A 10ml bottle wont be a 10ml bottle as we know it, it will be some pricey manufactured bottle device, no doubt supplied by B&H or Lambert and Butler .... tossers
