Thanks for all these replies, im currently trawling though youtube vids from here, listening to some Scottish guy atm who is sat in his shed :-) Clivia wonder if you could confirm something for me, because when I was cleaning my Aero I had a small rubber o-ring left on the worktop, I think it was from my Itaste 30s though. Is it correct that the Aero has the following rubber O-rings x1 small on the bottom of the drip tip x1 large on the top part that connects to the top of the pyrex jar x1 on the bottom part that connects to the pyrex jar rubber cap on top of wick ..... small o-ring below the rubber cap then a very small one below that holds the coil in place that's all mine has ..... there are none in the base (where mines leaking from) Sorry if im a pain (already) Hi Joojitsoo I've just taken mine apart and you have the right amount of o rings Cheers for that Fella, I knew it wouldn't be that simple seems I've broken it, never mind its taught me a lesson if nothing else ......be gentle with the screwing of wicks

Hi joojitsoo and I'll be taking an Aerotank apart tomorrow. Will have a proper look at where all the rings go and post here if you haven't got it sorted by then. I've been re-coiling protanks and other things for a bit now, but this will be my first go at re-coiling the Aero. Don't ever worry about asking questions here. We were all new once and there's always someone here who can help. If you could mate that would be ace, after what Clivia has just said I think all mine are present and correct, I think my problem is I have screwed the wick in to tight or its a faulty base (new one on order) when I look into the base there looks like a circular score mark, like its scratched ......serious lesson learnt there .....DONT NEANDERTHAL TIGHTEN THE WICKS, I don't want to try it again because I wasted nearly 10ml of decent juice trying to sort the problem the other day
Like i said ...nightmare tank lol
Thanks for all the replies and links
charon I'm going to wait for the new base to arrive, by which time my rba's should be here and its cloud city hopefully :-)

hi and welcome joojitsoo - why is the kanger aero your night mare tank - I love it Well I did love it for 1 night only, then I cleaned it and swapped juices the next morning and it leaks from the bottom of the coil area, which results in juice in my mouth and no vapour at all because the battery connection is covered in juice, I swapped wicks but still it leaked, not sure if I over tightened the wick or something but yeah it refuses to play nice, I have ordered a new base from fasttech in the hope that is the problem.
When it was working the salted caramel juice I was vaping was awesome though

Hello,
I've been browsing this forum for a while and thought I had best get joined up and introduced, You seem like a super friendly knowledgeable group which is rare on this sometimes harsh internet
I have been off the stinky fags for 2 weeks now, I am currently using an Itaste vv with various tanks which include Itaste 16 Itaste 30s and a Kanger Aero (my nightmare tank)
Last night I ordered some 2mm silica wick and 32g Kanthal wire, tonight I'm ordering a Kayfun clone and a Prometheus clone so I can start this rebuilding game
I have also got some Bauway 306 LR Bridged Dripping Atomisers on order
Then I need to order some tools, convert my shed into my workshop, maybe look into building mods, the list goes on and on lol
Its exciting times for sure, so much to do, so much to buy ......... the wife is going to kill me
Anyway peace to you all
