Thanks for tagging me Chrissie - I'd not seen this Am guessing September morphed in to October in a 'drekly' Cornish way!! Somewhere in the middle would be easier for me as Dobwalls/Liskeard is a bit to far. Looking forward to seeing everone again, it feels like ages since the last one.

Does anyone know how/if I can tell that something I used epacket for has actually been shipped via epacket? Just wondering because when I used it previously it said this on the order page: Shipment Summary Shipment 1: Ship via UK Express ePacket via China Post Status Delivered
However, the mod I ordered on Friday using epacket doesn't mention it on the order page. Just says this: Shipment Summary Shipment 1: Ship via Singapore Post Status Shipped
Thanks

From what I've read there are 2 different TPA Horchata's Perpetua - Horchata and Horchata Smooth. Not been able to find the Smooth version on any UK sites . You should definitely try Capellas's version though - it's very nice indeed imo. Mixes lovely with CAP VC

PS Horchata is luvvvverly.... a bit of advice to anyone, get Capella's Horchata... Agreed I have the Capella version and its really good. I've read that TPA Horchata is much harsher/spicier but that TPA Horchata Smooth is very good. Luckily I have all the ingrediants so am off to make some up - will report back in around 4 weeks lairey

I think for the time being I'm out. I know from the past that reading these sorts of threads can get me incredibly riled up, and I've found myself feeling angry towards other members whose views are opposite to my own. I don't want to feel that way towards people on this forum just because my views on 'life the universe and everything' are not compatible with theirs. Many of them have been really helpful during my vaping life, and to me that's what I'm here for and what I appreciate. It's a good idea imo to have it as a seperate group Chrissie

Haha Its a good intro to mixing using pre blended concentrates - will get you used to the process. Most of all though just have fun with it and ask as many questions as you like. There's loads of really experienced mixers and they've all helped me loads

I'm loving Horchata mixed with Cap VC at the mo - so it sounds great. In fact, in the words of the lovely Mr Martyn Parker... 'That sounds RIGHT up my flavour alley'

I've ordered some Vanillin from Chefs as I've seen it in lots of the recipe's I seem to like. Thing is they have sent Vanilla custard instead are theses two, one of the same? or have they sent the wrong concentrate. Yep - theyve made a mistake but like @yinyang says, they'll rectify it as soon as they can. Vanillin is not the same at all. It's something that adds an extra creamy vanillary sweetness to a mix. I use it in pretty much all my bakery/deserts at around 1 - 2%. It's brilliant added in custards but not something you would use stand alone as a flavour concentate

Welcome to Mixers Anonymous TallPaul70 It's a brilliant and fun hobby - although concentrate buying has become a compulsion I have apparently no control over...

Well I just tood and frode(sp!)between efuntop and FT for an hour. In that time the FT one had changed to 'in stock' from 'ships next day'... So fool though I may be, I bought the FT one After a $7 discount using a gift certificate I had, it came to £23.24 (paypal conversion rate, upgraded epacket shipping and I went for the additional $1 protective box too). Will I be cursing myself or not? Time will tell

Just hit the button on the one at Efuntop as it's in stock in the warehouse so they say - £24.12 with post & paypal conversion, cheaper than FT which worked out £2 more with paypal conversion, happy me!! My payday present to myself Ooh that's a good price TJ - I'll have a wander over and take a look. Not bought anything from there before though.

I've just received a couple of monster bases, along with 2 chimneys & bell caps from FT............... and luckily they all go together fine. All parts also fit my original kayfun parts too, so I would say some people have unfortunately had bad batch products ....... I think the issue is not with the monster base, but the other base that a few have tried. The only event that I have seen is one of the center pins snapping when it was being tightened up (which they do need). I have had loads of separate parts to use with these and everything fits just fine. Its a pretty good vape at around .7 -.8 and around the 30W mark. Yep I was on about the 2 air hole normal one, not the monster one. Can't believe they wanted a video of me stood like a lemon trying to demonstrate the problem!!! They gave me store credit for it literally a couple hours after I sent the link to the vid though so I think you should give it a go re your D2 hijack

Looks like I'm getting 3no. 2 hole "normals" back sometime.....! Bit of a late reply - sorry! They wouldn't accept a photo of mine and said the supplier wanted a video. Wasn't going to bother but in the end got my son to film me trying to put the chimney and then a tank on and off. Then had to upload it youtube and send them the link. Pain in the bum but I got full store credit back a couple of hours after. Not going to bother ordering another until I know for sure its a new batch!!

Cheers robby - it was seeing your post on the previous page and then seeing FT now showing it as ships next day that made me suspicious. I have $7 ish FT gift certificate to use (from the faulty double air hole FKL base that I had to make a bleddy video of as proof!!). That would of knocked another few quid off. Think I'll just hang fire...
