No worries - thanks anyway I might hold off a while longer to see if any reviews come along on Chefs site (I don't do facebook so have not a clue what the consensus was on there!) I'm currently obsessed with Chef's Ginger Rogers. Had wanted to try it for soooo long but was never in stock when I was buying other stuff from there. I'm fully smitten with it's gorgeousness

Thanks for the review ghostrider1971 - I've been eyeing this one up myself, but umming and ahrring incase they used FA Joy in it for the fried aspect. If you know what FA Joy tastes like can you taste it in there? I'm one of those people who can't stand that concentrate, it tastes like stale, flat lager to me even in titchy tiny amounts!!

If they are the same, it will be because rather than buying in 10ml FA bottles, the supplier will have bought a bigger bottle from FA and rebottled themselves (buying like this would work out cheaper).... AFAIK rebottled FA can not be sold branded as FA, which would explain the different names. Yep - makes total sense about re-bottling, but I don't then understand why they continue to sell branded FA bottles as well Am just pleased I can get them cheaper - minime has assured me that Flavour Max are definitely proper FA

Hello all Desperately need to re-stock my FA Caramel (vital component of one of my ADVs, of which I'm nearly out ). For a while now I've seen Flavour Creative conc's at Chefs, and it's obviously FA in disguise. I have also just noticed Flavour Max conc's at The E-cig Shop, and these also appear to be FA. Both of these ( Flavour Max and Flavour Creative ) are half the price of actual FA conc's - so what (if anything) is different other than the name? I just find it odd that both sites sell branded Flavour Art, but also sell them under a pseudonym. Are they the same strength? I know Lorannes are sold under different names on both sites - but neither site sell branded Lorannes, so that's understandable. I'm still skint after xmas so every penny counts, and it'd be great to buy the FA's I need cheaper - just don't want to buy some and it be diluted or different somehow. I couldn't cope with ruining a whole new batch of my honey nut mix! Anyone have an idea, or bought some so knows for sure they're the same? Cheers

HIC recipes are all low on the % side (thats how he/she says they prefer to mix). If you find one you like it's a good idea to make a bottle of flavour base/one shot and then you can make at a strength to suit you whilst keeping the ratio of ingredients as intended. I used to do this with HIC's cocoa cookie recipe I do find most FA conc's are much stronger than FW/TFA, but not all of them (e.g FA Honey is a brilliant conc to use in cereal mixes but I have a bottle mixed at 10% dilution which I use in place of the actual conc, and even then don't add any higher than 1.5%. It really is that strong and can ruin the whole mix easily! Whereas FA Choc, which is my favourite chocolate conc, I'll use up to 8-10%. All subjective though )

Not had dx/v2 versions as I prefer to buy v1/original. CAP Graham Cracker has a cinnamon back note to it that (for me) always comes through in the mix. This is fine if you want a recipe with this profile but not so much if you don't! TFA Graham Cracker clear is my GC of choice - I really like the taste of it and no cinnamon taste. It's just an all round good texture adding, digestivey biscuity type taste. Great for filling out a mix and I use it alot

I'll await your verdict with much anticipation minime ! I'm interested in this one as well - the email came through yesterday about it and I was like 'noooooo I can't be buying any more yet' Awaiting your verdict minime I'm hoping there's really no hints of fruit in it like a lot of FA ones. They don't seem able to help giving everything a zesty twist!!

SteveF - eeeeeek a whole litre of custard down the drain!! That's gutting I feel your pain - I don't like Sweetner in custards - just makes it really fasely over sweet to me. Same with dairy based creams like TPA Sweet Cream - far to condensed milk tasting I'm still trying - after 2 and a half yrs of mixing - to create my own perfect custard that I like as much as a certain vendor custard. I forced myself to stop aquiring the said vendor custard a few months back in the hopes I'd stop comparing every variation of my own to it. Hasn't happened! I still crave it and think I always will... For about a week before xmas none of my custards/vanilla mixes were tasting right - like you I thought I'd burned out my vanilla taste buds. Nope - I was coming down with a really horrible illness instead and have barely made it out of bed since boxing day!! Good luck with your next custard journey and may the steep pass quickly
