Did you READ the manual? I would have it it came with one. Been scouring the web for answers but best I can get is...The 6 sizes of mandrill screw in the big 'L' and you hold the wire with one other screw while you wind it on by hand.(which is what i do anyway using my thumb as the screw and a screwdriver) Another said the turny handle goes in either small or large hole, the small 'L' goes on that and again the wire is held by a screw and the coil is produced on the turny handle. Just doesnt make sense that it is 2 different jigs in 1, why would you want the 2nd option as you have those size in the mandrills? That big hole in the big 'L' is threaded, but there is nothing that will screw in there???

Thought I would get a coil jig so went for one that looked solid, all metal... Thats the bizz, is that...Then I started to figure out how it works I dont now why, but I ended up on the floor in uncontrollable fits of laughter. Move over Damien Hurst there's a new guy in town.

Got my bit's from FT today. The drip-tips were all good for a change. the color and shine are are better than in the pic. The coil jig is another story.

Ok had one on pre-order at $80, got a full refund when it came in looking a bit different to advertised pic's. Waited 4 days, and have have now picked it up, same place, for $57. This was at FT no less. Not a bad saving. Will have to think carfully about pre-ordering again. They were pretty crafty as the first batch came in they re-priced at $70(so I would have been due $10 refund under their 'price protection' policy). As soon as preorders were taken care of, they drop the price to $57....Those crafty refund dodgers. Actually the different finish may be an easy fix for me as I know someone who does anodizing and will see if he can give the chassis a bath in the Zinc or Nickle vats to finish what SMY started. It may just be to risky stripping it down so I have the chassis only, but Ill take a look.

Wow. Thanks a lot bud. Yeh it was your review that turned me on to this atty. Will be giving it a whirl Np problem Tom I wasnt clear enough on the review on the point. Its a far better draw than that KF4 I got, even after my quick mod on the KF4 the monster has twice air airflow, easily, and even more over the v2 's I have.

Still like the good old 2 wire twist for the little air holes that you can see the cotton through.

The brass on the monster kayfun is putting me off. Hi Tom if you are put off the Monster as it looks like it has a brass terminal then dont be. I am as good as 100% sure it is gold plated steel. Mine has be in use all week and that terminal is just as gleaming as when i 1st got it, surly brass would have tarnished even slightly by now. I know what happens to my brass mods when they get covered in juice and they tarnish up very quick. Above is as it looks this morning after I have been using for for over a week now and run under tap to rid it of juice for you to see. After spending 2 years at a plating plant where many of the processes on the quality items start off with a flash gold plate that provides a better surface for what goes on after. Even after nearly 30 years away from it, I should be able to tell the difference and would be due a good slap if I am proved wrong. Has a nice draw that one best drawing KF yet. And 3 good tank options with it. But just wanted to say, really dont think it is brass. ReviewI guess you have seen what I got as you do the review section quite a bit.

Getting great flavor from my Goliath RTA. I use a VC, Butterscotch and Virginia mix and the flavour is really strong on this.

Well ive managed to re pick up the vaping habit, but havnt things changed !!!! now im after a sub ohm box ( why im not sure ) and have been looking at Authentic Joyetech eVic VT v's the Authentic Kanger SUBOX, now ive seen the evic as a stand alone purchase via cigabuy, but am uncertain as too how good these companies are now, i used fasttech exclusivelly back in the day, any advice for a returning vaper with far too much info to take on board, my mechs and old SVD feel antique now !!! to AAEC.....Yes a lot of changes over the last year or so. I myself am only just deciding to move on from using a mech(which I started to use when the 15W mods just weren't doing it for me) and KFL's which I had been happy with. Recently tried a Goliath and a few other tanks and was surprised at the results...You could take a look in the reviews section, as a few here try out the gear they get and post, mostly, an un-biased view on it. Just looking myself at the new TC mods and deciding which to get, so ill say no more on that subject. Good luck this time around. Yep battery saftey is paramount with sub ohm setups, Samsung 25r Sony vtc 4 ( hard to find genuine now ) lg he4 efest purples ( alot of fakes get from trusted sources ) Just so that Gary Horder knows....If an 18650 battery says 35A(like some of the re-wrapped 25r's do) then they are 20A batteries and just display the peak and not continuous discharge rate. The Sony 30A batteries and few others are still the highest rated batteries. Be careful of the fakes on Ebay there are loads ATM Ecolux are still one of the only vendors who will test each batch he gets and wont sell if he thinks they are suspect.

Do you think you could use stainless steel wire in tc mode I believe the Mod uses a special formula written into the chip for other types of wire as these mods do not have temp sensors but rather use maths to determine the temp of coil. So different wire will require a new formula to workout the actual temp.
