By deducting the voltage drop, you are effectively saying that the battery didn't have to do that work. Thats what i was thinking. Its like saying 'you dont have worry what load is placed on a battery because its self regulating.' Ill have to read those papers before going any farther. There must be a point when the battery says 'This is too much to bear'

I have for regulated mods. I don't think headroom for mechs is too important with the batteries listed so far - as soon as ypu fire a low ohm coil the battery's volts will immediately drop, kind of giving it's own headroom. You have a concern? Better to discuss it here With Mech mods the measured voltage under load should not be used to calculate the amps being pulled. The battery still puts out it's full voltage, you are only seeing the volts that get used by the coil. he remaining volts have been consumed by resistances in the mod, normally the switch. The lower the coil resistance the higher the loss to the other resistances, it works as a ratio. The point is that you should measure the voltage at the battery, not under load, as that is what the battery will dispense, although you will not see all of it at a single point inthe circuit. I can see this is going to be debated much more. Is it the case then, that the voltage drop seen in a battery under load is a reaction to the stress of said load and the drop in voltage does not diminish the stress that is placed upon it and only serves to maintain same level of stress? EDIT: SRY so slow putting my thoughts to paper my Question may have already been answered. I need to have a read first

Thanks VapingBad Its been good to come back and have a chat with peeps and say HELLO. Have to admit, it's taken me best part of 2 weeks to work out what a Lemo was. 'Whats that all About?' Anyway, off to see if I made an arse of myself last night after having a few bevvies and ranting on about M****S*** and their OS. Thats probably what the rest of these tag's are for.

You can get good tablets from china for around 150-200 anything new on EBay for under 100 is garbage Take a look on Freaktab forum to find a decent one that some has done a CUSTOM ROM for several tablets made by CUBE are very good, quality wise and performance, but flashing a custom ROM is usually needed to rid it of Chinese apps, Iron out some andriod issues and replace the stock Chinese recovery with a decent English one so you can use a backup, without the need for a Chinese translator.
I have a CUBE X9 U65GT look it up you'll be surprised by the reviews. Their new one the T9 both use latest i pad high def screen aluminium chassis and 10,000 mAh battery in something that is 4 mm thick T9 is upgraded to 64bit 8-core and has 4G i have the pre 4G one Tinydeal are good to source from when you find the one you want that is well supported with ROM.

Not over as i was going to say Raffles i have done both my pc/laptop and as i have pre SP1 copy the update count on my laptop was 208 and my poor old Dell Lappy just could handle all the memory needed for doing so many updates at once and crashed leaving me loads of failed updates most were able to reinstall which its easy to find which by 'List by name' but 3-4 just wouldn't go through. Try input the error codes to google and find out why MS send you on a right merry-go-round trying this and then that and after hours you get fed up and try fresh windows install again. Ill try and remember andy01424 advice when i next do this.

Paranoia with windows O/S's is not paranoia LOL Not a truer work hath been spoken. I use PC and have grown to Hate MS not windows but MS. They make their own rules and payoff god knows who to gain an advantage over rivals. The IE saga went on for so long that by the time a ruling was made, IE was already sitting comfortably at the top, and only slowly diminishes when user gets so fed up with it they make the change. Dont like the way you dont own the copy of windows you paid nearly £180 for, but only buy the right to use it PHOOEYIt registers itself to one machines MAC ID and if you don't de-register it you can have problems if you get new computer and want to use it. RANT RANT RANT

Yes Andriod devices sometimes report incorrect battery readings although if youve used it and it wont go into charge Mode when tab is in Power Down state. then it could be battery completely flat to the point the device cant even run the charging program, Leaving it plugged in for 5 mins usually works to sort this. Or problem with the mini usb port, i've had a couple of things this has happened to and the mini usb can be oversensitive if the lead is pull to hard which prevents the contacts making connection. Both of mine got fixed at local place that does repair's about £30-40 for someone to take it appart and replace port with a new one. The only other thing is the battery is knackered, but you should have got a feeling it was on its way out for a good time before it died.

Yeh i have it trying to force it on me now in the notification area of TaskBar
Didn't Buy the win 7 ultimate that i use ATM. Just grabbed the OEM that was leaked by a disgruntled MS employee and use a loader that show windows a OEM certificate at startup. Windows cant tell, says authenticated. i use a Dell certificate for my Dell laptop and a Acer certificate on my home built that has an ASUS sabertooth MB as i think Acer use Asus MB's on their machines.
Windows 10.... Not if i have pay the richest man in the world for it. Then be told i dont own my copy but rather 'lease it' from MS who can do what they like as well as withdraw it should they ever go MAD.

I didn't realize Apple used Nvidia graphics, you definately talking about a mac @johanino ?? Not up on the Mac im affaid being a PC geek. The problem is when a model is old/discontinued or just progressed, they stop making the parts for them and subsequently the price for replacement goes up, due to supply and demand. Trying buying old RAM thats stopped being used in new computers and it will cost more than the latest, fastest RAM that is available now. Sometimes its better to get a new laptop or PC and benefit from the big performance gains you should get.

Many thanks for that comprehensive response thatguy. In the short term I've done what I should have done before coming on here... that is, uninstall and reinstall, which is working at the moment, and haven't lost my bookmarks. Have now looked at ccleaner and will probably install next week when I have more time. Thanks again. I think that was the way to go. I have found Chome great and made the change after having to do a windows reinstall and finding i had lost all my bookmarks. With a Google account and Chrome all you bookmark and setting are store with Google. Also Chrome has flash written into the browser so when there is a flash update chrome have an update wait for you. Plus Chrome comes as a 64bit version if you have 64bit OS, dont think the 64bit firefox is even out yet.

If you've bought a device from china you'll want a custom ROM for it to get rid of the Chinese apps and Improve on the stock ROM. A great place for sourcing supported devices is Freaktab Forum. They have a bundle of custom ROM's and nice extras to iron out any problems that people have found with a particular device.

The problem with buying 'cubot' or any chinese copy/clone is there won't be a root available for them, nor updates. As per aaront903 go for the S3 mini, or even a nokia as suggested by @zuza. Failing that a visit to a local 'cash converters' may prove fruitful This is the main thing with buying Chinese Gadgets and some I have had experience with since i have been away. The Chinese are starting to make some excellent tablets and phones, and you can grab an absolute bargin...As long as you do you research before committing. I read up on some forums Feaktab is one of the places to get all the pro's and con's and a few of their members make ROM's for quite a few of the best and most popular China has to offer. After doing this I bought a CUBE X9 U65GT from Tinydeal.com , Who delivered with no problem. Then i downloaded the ROM and Software etc. for doing the flash after rooting the Tab. Also grb a few nice extra's from the freaktab site, Like cool loading screen and decent easy to use recovery. The whole thing was a bit daunting but if your slightly tech minded and computer sav'y you should manage the loading of the drivers, for instance and the flash software after a little prep work. Ended up with a great Tablet the performs as good as a Galaxy tab for £150. 8-core 1.7mHz, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, with a 32GB flash card for extra storage. It uses the same 9.7' high res Retina screen as in the latest i-pad 1960x1280 i think it is, with gorilla glass protective screen. really crisp images. Has a 10,000 mAh battery, yeh thats a battery that will keep it running with the screen on for about 14 hours use. Play stuff like World of Tanks Blitzkrieg great, even on a screen with so many pixels. Great tablet, Have had it 6 months now and it never misses a beat........ but only if support by ROM flash.
4mm thickness dont know where they put all that battery
Made from aluminium for the chassis so strong and no creaking when your handling it. I put Vire Launcher to replace standard Andriod interface. Has some cool 3D page turning settings and nice folders the appear recessed into your Backgroud when opened. The latest one the Cube T9 is even better. with 64bit 8core chip and higher performing graphics chip and its 4G twin Sim, my older model is 32Bit and 3G single sim BTW padiho Cubot although similar sounding is not the same as Cube and if its on ebay for £40-50 then they got it from China for £25 you would do better looking at that forum i listed and finding out what was good and supported with custom ROM and buying from Tinydeal.com. if you spend £50 youll get something thats selling over here for £100. People were selling the one i got with the rom preflashed for £260 on EBay at the time. Anyone looking for a ROM for Chinese tablet or phone or other devices like tvbox should check out Freaktab Forum They cover a lot
