I got this recently (few months ive had it now) for charging my tablet at 2.1amp plus i have a Bluetooth speaker which needs a 1 amp charging port. The ones that look like 3 pin plug are rubbish and make an unnerving buzzing sound, already tried them and binned it, but the one I linked works really well, i would be happy using it on something like an istick. I use it on my tablet which i treat like it was my right arm.

..............After reading about it in the past, on 'T'other' Forum..... Put My Nemi down on the kitchen worktop whilst I nipped up to the loo...came down to My step-daughter (washing up) saying 'Wot's burning?...I can smell burning!..' Yes, I'd forgot to screw the fire button lock down!......& of course, immediately went & grabbed it!....OW!! OMG I did the same thing this morning but just luckily just knocked the Nemi over to stop it... They do get a tad hot when you do that to them.

Excellent video , it also showed me that I've been making my coils on too small a screwdriver. Probably strangling my wick!! Thanks again everyone for all your help xx Thats exactly what I found happens when when using a small diameter coil. I use a 4mm bar and 5-6 turns of .45mm wire will get you one side or the other of 1.0 Ohm. You can get a good size roll of cotton through it without 'choking' the cotton. If you 'fluff' the ends up by blow hard on them after you trim, you get it to from 2 big fluffy pillows on each side. Like so Funny cos i had taken these a few days ago because i was thinking of doing a picture guide, but was umming and arring as to whether it was relevant now everyone seems to be moving on to the K4.

Where these batteries fall apart is when they're used with a mod such as a Provari or a Smok M50/65. All too soon there will be 'low battery'/'weak battery' or some such warning. That is where I approve of such mods, they take care of the user (you and me) rather than pure profit. They actually measure the battery's voltage under load, something which should definitely be encouraged Its good to see that their has been progression on that front.

It's not okay. That's the point. I want to list batteries that CAN be used at the limits with no harm. Of course there will always be peeps that can fry a VTC5, but with an IR of (typically) 0.013 Ohms it's a whole lot harder to fry a VTC that say a 35Amp 2600mAh (clue there) AWT. ( HIJACKS EDIT: YES IT LOOKS THAT OLD LG HAS APPEARED IN DIFFERENT FORM) I'm saddened by such batteries being recommended for vapers, when the companies supplying them are only interested in profit (I recall I mention this elsewhere on the forum). We can't advise 'idiots' but we have to be careful how we label peeps as such. At the end of the day they are only going on the information provided by peeps such as you and me. And so I stand up and speak!! There isn't a single battery in my 18650 list that has an IR(DC) over 0.025 Ohms (rated and tested). That includes all the relables No I'm with you on those scores above. You Know me Rip I would be the first to jump in saying 'you dont wanna do that with that battery' In the last 6 months we have seen high power regulated mods with temperature control, so YES I do feel a bit like I'm still living in the dark ages. Working out the effects of those combined is beyond me, so I'll leave that to those 'in the know' and stick with my battery in a tube for now. Good work Rip, keep it up. I'm sure i can ask more question even it its just to get myself up too speed.

Using pure maths a VTC5/4/3 would be capable of over 100Watts, but we have to take into consideration the IR of the battery and the joints/wires within the mod. A simple method for regulated mods is to consider the battery's voltage as 2.5Volts. This will allow for battery drain and Volt drops. so - 30x2.5 = 75Watts (2.5Volts takes into consideration a drained battery and the Volt drop) I'm not intending to treat anyone as dumb, just taking the maths out of it all to make it easier to get the head around You have to admit hijack, as rated outputs of batteries get higher the IR becomes all the more important (especially with one company pushing a 20Amp (quoted 35Amp) battery with an IR of less that 0.08Ohms (DC)). Using V=IR we see that 20x0.08=1.6Volts. A freshly charged battery could easily drop to 2.6Volts when fired. The offender in this case is AWT, but seeing how easy it is to push such batteries is BLOODY FRIGHTENING!!!!! I was unaware of the 2.5v formula to use with regulated mods and was looking at it from a mechanical side using 4.2v as I live in the 'Dark Ages', where Setting 75w and setting temperature is 'Black Magic' and 'Wizardry'.

Questions are good. TBH I'm surprised we haven't had a load more hijack Some will see this effort as me laying the law down, when the law is already written. Yeh after running your numbers on a calc they are bang on the limits of the battery. I think you know were I'm going. Is it OK to use batteries to their limits? We've all seen idiots frying their sony's and melting firing switches on u-tube, by using wire roped together to try a 0.01 coil for the 'crack', so stupidity does live out there (for a while). You work with electrics and I'm an armature enthusiast, so if you say 'it is so' I will take that as read and will by wiser for it.

Yeh Ripshod i always use the 640 for single pics, but i was looking at doing something that was picture intensive and wanted to work out a good smaller size so the whole thing wasn't so large. Groups of 4x320x240 would look 'viewable', thats if it put them in a nice block of 4 when people view it. I will check it out on my TAB to see what they look like for mobile viewers.

I got 100ml of pg/vg and nic base as wasn't sure if it would catch on Thats cool...I wont say 'IF', but WHEN you go for lager sizes, one of these plastic tube needles will come in handy for reaching in a fair way. As i now do my 50/50 mix 200ml at a time, I have to fill the 30ml syringe 3 and a bit times when i get to the VG part of the recipe.

I was just glancing at the numbers and roughly doing the math in head and thinking with the VTC 5 that 30A would allow lower. But if your factoring in a decent margin 1st then it looks good. I was just curious about the margin if any that you had given.

methemandus if you need ill send you a couple of mine. Just PM me and we will work out what you need. and i just found more as well Thats how it should sit, right up to that inside line. Just measure how far it sits from the line you see inside the tube and im sure i have a couple that will do the job.
