I Never worked out the actual cost of my juice. I just know its way way way less than I was spending on premade. The initial cost seems high but I have the same 500ml bottle of Nic I first bought and I have used just over half in the last year. PG last a long time as well because it kakes up 25%ish of the mix on a 50/50 mix.(flavorings add the rest of the PG). VG is so cheap and easy to get if you nip into Boots when running low...as johnstrangey says 1.39 for a 200ml glass bottle. You can save on flavoring as well if you are willing to use CCW in recipes instead of Cap or FA etc. At £7ish per 100ml from Amazon.(use at around 20-25% for single flavor) I dont use too many plastic bottles as I put the empties from Boots to good use. I'm an ADV'er so I just mix up new bottle when 1 is empty. I do alter the mix a bit,now and again, but dont label so its a surprise when I get to try it a few months later Have a CCW irish cream to try....As this is totally new to me I will make a sample to test 1st before deciding if it will blend ok with what I like, so I'm not totally 'Hit'n'Miss.

Apart from delays on pre-order items, most are sent out within 3 days then its 10-14 days wait for china post option. Only check tracking if its not arrived after 2 weeks. Only had problem once out of 30+ orders, with a recent order being stuck at HMRC UK. As soon as they can figure out what the hell all the bits are, Im sure it will land on my doorstep. Its great when you get things you forgot about turn up.

You may be surprised at the mark up that tips gets once they end up in UK. The custom tips are a different story Hand made from superior blanks and high polished so they do cost a lot, the more time taken and more expensive materials...They would be. Everything in my tips draw are cheap acrylic sets from china. I did find exclusive to China, 'Chinese ox horn tips', they were pretty good and the colors in the grain were nice. These were quite nice for acrylic and small as well. The real quality costs though and as my title may suggest I just cant force myself to buy any.

Don't give up hope yet hijack. My tracking stopped after "dispatched to GBLALA 5 weeks ago. Plopped on the mat this avvo. Plus you're wasting you time phoning the sorting office, unless you think you've had an attempted delivery with no card left. It sometimes happens. Thats why i didnt bother with them. 5 weeks wow....It could be a long wait them. They probably have someone looking up the cost of each drip-tip, spare glass tanks etc, trying to work out if they can get any tax out of me.

How long has it been in LALA land hijack ? I had one stuck there for 5 days, and most dont get the tracking updated after they get to the UK It got to LALA on the 23 and no sign of it yet I did find the number for my local sorting office, havnt tried calling yet as I thought the best I would get from them was 'It hasnt arrived here yet!'. I might try them tomorrow.

It looks like a package set from FT has disappeared once it got to Langley. Tried to contact P.O. to see if they could tell me whats going on, but it looks like the P.O. have got rid of all their customer service, replacing them with automated messages that charge you peak rate, then cut you off after referring you back to the website. Have opened a ticket with FT and after they told me what I knew already have asked them if they can find out through China Post.
Anyone got any tips to find out if it left Langley or not....P.O. tracking is useless with items arriving from abroad??

I don't understand the drip-tip thing at all. Some people just have too much time on their hands if they wonder what tip they are going to use today.

Its working that the main thing. I have a feeling that you would need to install separate USB drivers for updating a mod using windows. I had to do this when flashing a custom ROM to my tablet. It was the trickiest bit of the whole process as windows wont install them automatically and you have to do it manually and direct windows to where you saved the downloaded drivers. I saw the evic mini has a new update so I am giong to have a go later.

I havent had a problem with royal mail accepting a parcel that contains a battery once you tell them what it is and how you have packaged it. They just put an extra label on the box to let the baggage handlers know and in goes on the aircraft as usual. Doesnt cost any extra. I did have a problem with 'my hermes' though and it looked to me like they dont allow you to send a battery however it is packed.

Got a new set of tips and they look good. Large bore size, not over-sized for most atty's. Great Then you take a draw and think 'they blooming well do it on purpose!' Every one of them sounds like a referee's whistle, you dont even need to suck hard, the lightest draw and you expect someone to shout 'Foul'. I'm sure they are laughing at the thought of everyone who bought going around whistling everywhere. Any cure for a whistling tip?

tabs604 the Ohm meter is same as mine, but a couple of markings show it is different manufacturer to mine. The one I have is very accurate...Make sure the atty pin sticks out under the level of the thread as it sounds like its not making proper contact with the center pin of the meter(res jumping around), and check that center pin-plate is clean. Dont know why they can never supply a decent set of sharp scissors but Ive yet to see one. Easily replaced though. does look nicer than the mess sitting in front of me.

Got my 2 white atty's, a set of resin+SS tips and some Ni premades to play with You would have thought they would have put the Ni coils in plastic case but they seem to have arrived in good shape.
