Vapemail from China courtesy of Gearbest. took less than a week. my first order and impressed. was expecting to wait weeks and weeks... Thats a tidy looking atomizer kit, they caught my eye when I saw them on gearbest site. Althought I have every tool in it, I may still get one just to tidy 'Vape Corner' up a bit. What's your opinion of the tools that are in it? They Look pretty good from the pic, the scissors dont look the best, but you cant tell if the scissors are sharp from a pic. Whats in the bag in there as well?

Just realised that the screen has a clear film protector on it. Didnt notice for the first 4 days, then whilst giving it a clean I noticed the adhesive grain on the screen that couldnt be removed and knew it must be a film. Not the easiest of films to remove but managed it without messing things up. Thanks for that. ... I wasn't sure and didn't want to scratch the screen if there was no film on it. I figured there would be others who would want to take it off. Its now more glass looking. I take no blame if you attack it with a scalpel blade.

If you still cant get it working you may find something on joytech updatesYou may be able to flash the firmware back on the mod in case it is that that is at fault. If you do make sure you read up on the process and dont attempt if you are unsure, if a flash goes wrong you may end up with a blank screen.

For f sake stop confusing me hah These or the 25rs for the xcube 2 ?? Both myself and Kreed have gone for the 25R It has a better amp rating and are good for 20A each so 2 in the xcube will be good for 40A = 100watts

Well you havent had it that long as its new....Has it been working OK with the same Ti set up as used on it before?
OK reading what you are saying again and it is is both TI and NI that you have the same problem? Has it ever worked with Ni or Ti before?
Sounds like you are trying all the things I would try. I have just got one of these this week...Its been working well so far. It did have an episode where the screen went do-lally and started scrolling from left to right and it was unreadable as it placed lots of wierd symbols over the screen. I paniced and pressed the fire button 3 times and the button that coresponds to the 'system off' funnction, when I switch it back on all was OK again. I've posted a video for you of me firing some Ni coils on it so you can see what it should look like...I dont know if it will help identify what your is not doing that mine is. Should be there in a few mins from now.
The message at the end was just the 10sec timer kicking in.

lairey has a v good point if its a Ni coil you need to run it with the device set to Ni. If Ni is heated above 450c it starts to give off a nasty gas that you would not want in your lungs, so for long term safety sake, make sure the temp limiting is active when you use Ni. I never knew that hijack, below 450 for me from now on. Thats 450c not 450f it wont happen within the TC range that goes up to 600f 'ish so you are safe at any range on a TC mod drunkenbumI read somewhere that over 600f was the point where the nasties are created hence evolv not letting the DNA go any hotter. thats much lower than what I read but you may well be closer to the actual figure than me. in any event you should be safe below the max 600F limit that some mods have.

Recently I swapped using disposable AA's for rechargeable versions. Ecolux does 6 for less than £5 they are only 600mAhx1.2v but I use them in camera(lasts a day out at event), and other things that take the AA. They go in the same charger as the 18650's being Mn batteries. I was getting fed up with things like the kitchen clock runing out or the TV remote and all the other things that use that size from my res meter to my wireless keyboard the list goes on.

sorry to hijack the thread but i could do with some advice regarding Ni200 wire, i bough some awg30 and awg32 from fasttech but think i have annealled or soft wire as it springs off a form/mandrel to double coiled size even when twisted.. aiming for coils with 0.15-0.2 ohm resistance with a 3mm diameter what guage should i select from the stealth vape site?? (3mm diameter due to ease of wicking more than anything else..) many thanks in advance Sounds like non annealed wire which is harder and more springy properties. Try lightly touching it when you have it wrapped and this will anneal the wire so it doesn't spring out of the shape you bend it. You can then put it back on the former and pull it tight and push the loops together where they will stay. Running your fingernail along the coil should be enough to separate the loops so they don't touch It will however deform much easier when threading the cotton through so a dit of twisting with the cotton will be needed. I did this with the last coils I made using non annealed wire to get a pretty good result and once the cotton is in place it hasn't bent or moved since. Some .3-.35 should be what you are looking for. I used .35mm wire for 4mm coils 12 wraps and they come in at .16ish each, so thinner wire will increase the res or a few more wraps will do the same.

I would expect this to be a decent battery(not been able to track down the data sheet for it) It is obviously the next step up for the 25R having an increased capacity=30Q They usually try to improve on older designs by increasing the cycle life so a capacity increase a big improvement on the 25R Whether or not there has been a trade off in cycle life or capacity\power over the life of the battery which they usually measure at the 250 cycle mark (which is 60% with the 25R) I dont know, without looking at that data sheet. The samsung INR range has always been a very safe battery and hard to kill. When it does pass on its always in a peaceful manner so i wouldn't expect that to change with this new version.(again the data sheet would have the test results on it to be sure)

The issues I have had with my D2 Pacer are 1). It wouldnt fire at the specified res of .05 (showing short message when firing a coil that it reads at .06) It did work on coils that it reads at or above .08 The other issue is 2). It dosnt read the res correctly so those coils it reads at .08 are actually .1 and as a result I suspect you can bin the temp it says on the screen and adjust to what suits you. So 500F is not burning the wick and gives a nice vape.

It does keep you up. When I started and was using 18mg in a crappy clearo things were fine, but as soon as I tried my 1st decent atty I had a week of sleepless nights. Then I cut the nic down to 10 and now use 6mg in my big cloud tanks.
