The Ehpro version of the kfl is spot on. Sent from me from some far away land. The Ehpro is very good I have a v2 and it works great. The only thing with Ehpro v2, is the centre posts are higher off the deck than on others and this makes it hard to find a nano kit that fits. a standard chamber section for the chimney is needed so it can be used with the standard nano kit. Ebay can be good, I've got some decent stuff but I tend to look for specific brand names like tobeco etc otherwise you could end up with crap. Anyway kfl+ fan here, I had a clone one but had some spare cash and got the real deal and it's been serving me well everyday since. I got mine from ebay because I couldn't find an ehpro v2 in the uk and got mine from a US vendor empirevapes he's still selling them £18.70 +8.75PP bloody good value and it was here in 7 days. Are there any of them that you can guarantee won't whistle? They can have a tendency to whistle. With mine it seemed to develop a small whistle, but I got a 2mm brill bit and using my hand, just spun it on the airhole opening a bit which took the hard edge off, like doing the smallest possible countersink and the whistle stopped.
Out of all the KLF clones I would look for an Hcigar or an Ehpro those are the 2 that get the best comments. One guy who did a video of various clones against the original said the Ehpro was better than his original.

Well done callumcutter1I wish my flatmate was so easy to convert. We have shared a flat for a few years and he has constantly gone on about needing to stop smoking, mainly because he cant afford the 2 packs a day. When I got my starter kit he laughed and said 'you wont give up using that thing.' After a couple of weeks I said ' I've not thought about a ciggy since trying this, have a puff and see if you like it.' He reluctantly took a puff burst out coughing and handed it back saying 'I cant use those, I have bronchitis and the vapour is bad for my lungs.' (like smoking 2 packs a day is fine then) I told him that the coughing was just a reaction from not being used to the vapour, like when he first tried to inhale smoke all those years ago, and it would pass after 3-4 days. So he carried on smoking, and I carried on vaping. When I moved on to vv/vw I said he could have my starter kit and a decent tank to use if he wanted to. But no. Nearly 6 months now since I started vaping and 2 weeks ago he says. 'Have you got that starter thingy you said I could have.' Wow I wasn't expecting that. I got all the bits out of retirement bundled it with a protank2 mini and a new micro coil/cotton inside it, plus 2 half used 30ml bottles of juice(was all I had in 18mg strength) raspberry and cherry. Gave it to him and told him how to fill up and how to recharge. Its now sat there on his computer desk for 2 weeks tank still empty not even tried it. I have officially given up, you can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink, as they say.

If you need one I can send you one of mine. The other magnets that go on the battery are 15mmx1mm, I have 20 of those as well so im well stocked if my brain fails again.

There's a lot of rayon supporters around. Not tried it yet, but it sounds very good from what people say.

Yeh KFL+ v2 is what to look for. These do have airflow control, but its likely youll leave it full open. The v2 has a slightly larger airhole and a few other additions over the original.

Hi reddragon welcome to AAEC. As you bought 510 carto's and a 510 battery it should work. The only reason I can see it not working is if the centre pin of the carto is not touching the centre pin of the battery. Take a look at the carto and see if the centre pin is flush with the threads. The above is not a carto but it works just the same. If the pin in the centre doesn't touch that flat battery pin, it wont fire. If it is a case of that pin hiding above the line of the threads then you could try to pull it down a bit in some way, it only needs to be flush with the threads and it should make a contact. Failing that buy a protank2 mini and some flavoured e-liquid, and a few replacement atomizers so you can change them over once a week. Youll get a better vape from it im sure.

Cant you just use cotton wool instead? I dont think it would work, organic yarn would work. It has to feed from the coils into the tank below, so needs a bit of structure. I have been using organic yarn for my coils and been really impressed with the wicking Have you used yarn on these types of atty? I had looked at this atty and thought 'oh no, ill have to mess around with mesh'. What could you use instead? I have a couple of yarns both Rico shown below.
Is this the sort of thing you mean?

I usually rinse all the bits under warm water then do a dry burn same as the guy on this video (silica wick only). If its a home made micro coil with cotton, you take the cotton out first, do the dry burn, then thread a new piece of cotton through the coil.

Would it be worth it, when I get one, to run it through a scope and diagnostic software so I can get a better idea of tolerances and whatnot, or is that just going a step too far? You don't need to go this far for an electronic mod. If you really want to know how something like a VTR performs then PBasardo who is a reviewer has already run it through an oscilloscope under various configurations and you can always just look at his results PBasardo he has tested many mods.
An oscilloscope wont tell you much about a mech as its direct current, dependant on battery voltage and coil resistance. It might tell you if there is some voltage drop but the amounts are tiny and nothing to worry about. Working out how many amps your using in relation to the battery limit can be done using ohms law or a simple to use calculator like steamengine.

Next time I might try that method by the rapper guy in the video that's in 2 parts, he made some good points about having the coils raised up high. Sounds like he knows how to get this thing vaping good.

I need to get a dripper working ASAP I've got a Cats which is a quad coil, but I cant find any guides on building it, any ideas? I've also got a Patriot but it needs the airhole drilling and I cant get a drill to go through it, what are they made of bullet proof steel?? Well there are some good vids above to help you decide what to do with it.
This is my setup ATM.
Vertical coils have been best for me so far, and its not as tricky as it looks, just make the coils so the legs are 90 degrees to each other, position so that lower leg attaches to the deck, this will leave the other leg lined up to be attached to the centre post. Only screw down the leg that goes to the deck screw and just give a half wrap to the post leg and move on to the next coil. After you have done all 4 you can tighten down the centre post and your left with something resembling a porcupine. just snip off or twist off the all those loose wires. Then check the centre post to see if snipping off all those wires hasn't made it loose and tighten it again if it needs it. Then use tweezers to lift the coil off the deck and wick with cotton. The bottom part of the cotton can sit in the centre well and just cut the top to the same height as the centre post. Make the tops so there is a gap between each one so you get good airflow through it. I think it adds to the flavour when the vapour flows through the gaps as the wicks are soaked in juice.
This atty is airy like no other, in less than a second you will get a lungful. I might try blocking 2 of the holes on the inside chamber to see if it tightens the airflow without reducing the vapour. If you try closing the airflow with the ring you don't get enough air hitting the coil.

Yes it does seem the m-vapes KFL has had good reviews.
I don't know what it is but on the pic on the website, im sure I can see burring on the juice channels, obviously its not otherwise people would have said.

Very kind words sleedale, its nice to know that all those recommendations from everyone, do help. The davide mentioned above is like an improved protank2, but ask me why I think its improved, I just like it better. Normal version or mega, depends on what size you prefer. The aerotank is a good tank and the version 2 so supposed to have a great airflow control on it. I have the standard one and its very good. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't consider a KFL They are a much better vape and flavour than any of the tanks that use the BC coil heads, I only tried recoiling a kanger head after I had ordered a KFL (to get a bit of practice before it arrived) and my first attempt with the KFL worked fine. By the time I had done 3 or 4 rebuilds I had it nailed, with a bit of advice from fellow vapers here. Here is a basic kayfun build that i used before making changes to how I wick it today. Its a clear and easy to follow video. Drippers give good flavour and are easy to use. I would bypass getting a bridgeless one as I found them a bit rubbish. I cant recommend a good single coil dripper as I only have duel and quad coil drippers. Couldn't find a good video, but you just make a micro coil and wick with cotton and drip juice on it till the wick is saturated. Then put the top on and vape till it starts to dry up and repeat.
