I agree with @agenthoover, I also have 4 FT clones and whether ive just been lucky or made good choices, the ones I have are very good. In fact I think the brass stingray I have is the same as the one m-vapes is selling. The copper nemi is good, the locking ring goes from full open to locked and back with a single flick of the finger (I did put in some switch magnets to improve the switch). Even the cheapest one which was the 'slim' mod that I paid £10.50 for, I use all the time with a Kayfun, its like it was made for it.

I would learn what you can about it, we all started from here, but jumping in the deep end without finding out first is a recipe for trouble. So try and pick up all you can from people first, and dont buy until your sure in your own mind, you know what your doing.

I seem to have a lot of moisture accumulating in the mouthpiece. And it isn't as easy to pull on as the v3, despite various setting tweaks. (This might be because I can't work out whether or not I can fit my airflow controller...) What am I doing wrong? It happens a lot, I keep a few cotton buds handy as well. You can either remove the driptip and poke the cotton bud inside or most tips have a big enough hole that you can just stick the cotton bud down and it will soak up a fair bit of the excess.

That's basically it joelemite its a tube with a battery in it and a mechanical switch that completes the circuit. It can be stripped down completely and put back together again. Its always best to use IMR/Hybrid batteries IMO, and these are unprotected. Take a look at battery buying guide for a full explanation of battery types. I also did a guide for using mechs Mech guide Which emphasised safety, and gives links to various bits and pieces that are useful/important to have when using a mech.

My VTR gets warm/hot around the aerotank. The battery may get warm if you have a 5 min session but shouldn't get hot. Also the vtr shouldn't fire if there is a short and has a 5 amp limit so I don't think you would have shorted the battery, even if the atty was shorting.

I know my Dad mentioned this to me, but I normally just screwed my tanks down tight until they stopped moving. Looks like I'll have to change my ways now that I've fixed the pin I used to do the same thing until I realised that ring wasn't just for making larger tanks look better on the spinner, but could be used to secure a wobbly clearo. Then the penny dropped and I realised that I had been over-tightening my attys.

Great bit of kit kitty778 and fantastic battery life. Set it in variable wattage mode then it doesn't matter which atty you use with it. The main known niggle is tightening atties too hard can cause the positive pin to stick down so some atties don't make a connection and you have to gently prise the pin back up. If you use an atty with a 510 connector use the beauty ring as this may assists in preventing the above pin issues. There isn't a best power setting, just start low at say 6.5 watts and work your way up slowly in 0.5 watt increments until your satisfied with the vape, if you start to get a burnt taste turn it back down. Enjoy Thank you very much for mentioning that advice GregSome of my iclear atties havent been making a connection lately no matter what I try, I'll look out for this in the future Yeh its a good bit of kit, that shouldn't give you any problems.
Just don't over tighten the clearo's on it. screw them on till you make a contact then twist the beauty ring up to met the clearo. This will get rid of any 'wobble' that you may have from not tightening down the clearo hard onto the mod, and will prevent the centre pin from being pushed down.
Apart from that it should perform much like the v3, you should find your perfect setting will be close to that.

Also depends on what device you use as vv/vw mods have an Amp limit, or a maximum power limit that will mean you will only get out of it what it will allow. So putting a 1.5 ohm coil in a 6v/15w mod and using it in voltage mode, wont allow you to get 24W by turning it up to 6v.
What about for the battery is 1300mah/1600mah If by 1300/1600 you mean a spinner/spinnerII or twist, then there is an amp limit of 2.5A. So you could get 12w by using a 1.9 ohm coil at the 4.8v maximum, which will put it on the amp limit of 2.5A You can of coarse use a lower resistance coil, but the amp limit will be reached at lower voltage and turning it up further would have no effect.

I like the aerotank its a very good vape, not quite in KFL or other rebuildable league, but great for a no nonsense clearo.

Also check the condition of the washer that seats the head in the base. Usually this washer when squeezed by the tightening of the head, would stop it from unscrewing easily. So it could be missing, that would cause it to leak.

Received all six batteries from Ecolux today, charging now. Must say the service from them and Multicorepc is excellent. Did you get free protective cases for them?

The svd goes into locked mode after a battery change and 1st switch on which I find a little niggling. Ruffie.
Took me a whole day to get the SVD out of lock mode. I had to get help from a forum to figure it out.
The instrutions say hold down the buttons for 5 secs, but they don't say keep held down until after it displays res/power.
Anyway back to the OP, good luck with the 134, they look well made even if they are on the large side. As has been said start around 7 watts and gradually turn it up till you get a good vape, back it off if it starts burning.

I think its quite common for this to happen, the loud pop tends to happen when its been sitting for a while, so I put that down to the wire heating up fast when the wick is saturated. When using a dripper you can see how much it spits juice around, the inside of the vapour chamber tends to get covered in juice, so im not surprised the occasional drop ends up going through the mouthpiece. Don't think ive ever taken one in the eye though.

Apart from the fact that Vamo`s are stupidly BIG ive never ever had a problem with mine (UK Bought) It wouldnt be all from that focalcrap group buy would it ?? agree I fixed a steady supply of vamos but now the focalcrap has flooded in they arnt lasting twenty mins mine was dead on arrival and has put me off ordering from there for life I will stick with fasttech ronaldo Do you think the focal/FT ones may be clones of the original? I ask because im curious as to the authenticity of thier other mods like the SVD, MVP ect.
