i've got one that works lovely, and the other one is a pain. I did this eventually to resolve it once and for all replaced the red wire with a copper plate, soldered both ends. Not proud of it, as I knocked it up on the fly from a piece of plumbing fitting U-strap. This means the button wont lock anymore, but it also means the *only* contact point in the switch is the very small part that touches the battery. and black wire replaced with thicker black wire, because #clouds

it looks like chalice 3 will fit into the catchcup of the clone without any milling. So there...$29 mod, $12 atty. (insert meme: today was a good day)
I'll go so far as to say, after a personal shoppers drought of about six months, in the last week I've bought a few devices that I have been keeping an eye out for, and this one today kinda completes my journey. I want for nothing more.
(so far)

me too. I'll remove 2mm from the catchcup for the sake of $100 saving. A metal box, priced at the price of a metal box.

I got a chalice for my one owl, and using the supplied rda on the other owl and cant really say whether I prefer one or the other....I'm on the fence as to which is "best" due to me wanting clouds at some times and at other times just a nice mouth to lung experience....but anyway:-) the owl rda is 22.5mm. I'm unsure of the exact size of that top plastic piece of the cherry bomber, but a hundred million people report incessantly that it will autofire if your atty can touch a metal part of the mod, so I'll try it when mine comes and report back. Hopefully it is thick paint.

It`ll do me vern, they are early pics so I`m guessing there will be a few more changes to it. They have certainly improved the switching by the look of it. EDIT ........... there is a hole at the other end of the battery tube in the 15W version. I would imagine this will be the same. hey robby, just quoting you so I dont lose my place...I understand there were two 15w versions..one for 18500 and one for 18650 (appeared much later). My moans are about the 18500 version, picked up by members of this forum last year June that were was zero venting on this thing, so if the 18650 sprang a hole in the bottom of the tube then thats all good. The fire button placement is still not convenient to use, honestly, I'm not making this up, and the bottle connection system was odd. The bottle "cap" was actually a threaded piece of metal, so if was very easy to strip the plastic bottle when tightening it. I wasnt being hulk, but a soft squidgy bottle threading into a steel cap was never going to last more than a month.

hopefully they have kept that itty bitty small red wire that is soldered to the positive connection going through a small hole and then held in place with silicon sealer. I loved it when you tightened an atty and the positive post spun and snapped the wire, it was such fun fixing it.

its too heavy (made out of cast zinc alloy), the fire button is a pain to use due to the location and the juice bottle connection system is a disaster that will happen. I'm basing this opinion on owning two of the 15w version at some point in time, and they were both flawed. As the body design is almost 100% the same I wont bat an eyelid if all the faults were carried over. Also, they were called out on their previous version for not having any venting in the battery tube, and the one pictured doesnt have any vents in the top cap, so if they kept the inner metal tube system then this one will have no venting either and will require a replacement top cap (just like their previous one) I'll abstain until I see some proper pictures of it taken apart and a review by somebody who paid for it
