its a good question, to which i dont know a 100% answer. They tend to concentrate on higher end stuff ever since they had the mother of all bubbles in the 80's/90's, and since that time have just trundled along as a zombie economy. (ring any bells? anyone...?) google "japans lost decade"....which quite frankly is recognised as two lost decades. They dont have cheap labour (in the chinese sense) anymore, still have tons of debt etc.

Mines shipped too. Got a tracking number but I've got no idea where to track it. First time I've used focal. Can anyone inform me where to look? as said, 17track generally is the easiest site to use and gives the most up to date results. Pls dont worry if nothing shows for 3-5 days, or even if it says number not recognised or similar. It'll only start showing on tracking once it starts moving

hmm. all the pretty reo's I've seen have a different coloured door. reo sells the door for about $25. If the door fits the copy, then thats quite cool. hmmm...a copy reo complete is $29. Maybe I am talking mysel finto getting another copy, then doing a remix. The likelihood is high that this product will not be offered again, due to the design patent on the reo itself, and if the real door doesnt fit the copy (eeek!) then you wont have a spare door to do a remix with.
Alternatively, we can create a copy reo swopshop. I can paint mine red, you paint yours white, we swop doors. etc
dammit, have I just talked myself into buying another copy reo?

I'll second VapingBad, I have a 4bay charger around 10feet from me on the landing...when I go to another room/toilet/kitchen etc I can glance at it and see the battery status. I also keep the car keys there, so when I leave I just touch the wall socket with my foot to switch it off at the mains, and when I come back I switch it on again. Same when sleepies time comes. Sometimes I'm stupid, and forget to put batteries on the charger during the day, and I wont charge at night, so the next day I'm being careful with my vape hoping a battery charges quickly, and keep checking the charger to see the status.
So this bluetooth thing means they can reduce the cost of the charger (no lcd screen needed, bluetooth module is pennies), this is good for us in a way. Depending on the app, I'll get one...if it can use the notification tray on a phone to let me know when a battery is charged then that will save me time.

as robby says, I refreshed the page and the item title has had the words "pre-order" added, and item description now read: Please note:
This is a pre-order product. We will ship out in 15~20 business days. A while to wait, we will be the first shop to get this product from factory directly though.
boo! hiss!
the same text has been added to the flask squonker page too.

greasemonkey is a user plugin for your browser which allows you to run your own custom code on a page. e.g. you could use it to change the layout of this forum, or the forum colours, and it would only apply to you as it only runs on your web browser

you can go to 0.4-0.5ohm easily on stock wiring with zero ill affects...I even had a comment from a chap who was on 0.2ohm but I didnt feel comfortable advising that. The top plate gets quite hot from the atty radiating heat into it. i would also say, considering todays reo @ 29dolla, *if* you already had an atty to bottom feed, or could convert one, than the reo clone (assuming it is a good copy) would be better for most people. I have loads of attys, so the $8 difference is worth the upgrade ot metal proven design etc. On the flipside, the wifey much prefers her little white light plastic box to my metal squonkers. So there you have it...its better and worse.:-) horses for courses. At the £15 for this (a box and a half of cigarettes or so) I'd still say its a cracking device (however I dont mind fiddling one bit..in fact I rather enjoy it)

I though I had posted this already, but now that you have the box, and my paragraph above, this video will make more sense. the movement in the battery is the switch bottoming out on the ring. Without the battery movement, you can see the switch is about half mm too high to connect to the ring part properly. Of course, it does depend on the battery
ok, enough rabbiting...:-)

well, if you're into handyman mode already..do the solder blob mod, and replace the bottom contact with a spring from e.g. a vamo or similar. That solves all the bad contact areas for normal out and about usage. The firing pin has a shoulder which should contact the ring bit perfectly, except the battery stops it form going down all the way, and the bottom spring thing is way too hard to allow the battery to move lower when the ubtton is pushed. hope that makes sense, but out the box it mostly fires on the side of the firing pin, which quickly gets blackened and creates bad contact.

I take it then that the contacts aren't that good? Can they be easily corrected? Probably, better wire would be a good start. start by getting rid of that blob of solder, so that the contact surfaces of that ring is flat. the ring bit just pops up, and if you remove the adjustable centre pin , then the bit on the left is loose too, so you can work on it. You'll quickly figure out where the weak points are.
