I must say I have mixed feelings about the e-grip. With a bit of persistence and some help from blakey I did mange to get the RBA up and running without chucking out juice on a regular basis. However, after very little use the battery life went down to very little and finally I couldn't charge it up at all. Fair play to Joytech UK though, they sent me a replacement and a pre-paid envelope to return the old one and now it is working OK - though I wouldn't say the battery life is great. It is very good though when you getting working correctly. If I have understood this thread correctly, it is now possible to get a CL base that would fit the old egrip and use the Ego One CLR coils which are not so fussy in terms of rebuilding compared to the original RBA? Alternatively there is the option of getting the new egrip OLED which will take the CLR coils. I notice though that there is a CS and a CL version of the OLED, so it would presumably have to be the CL version

I'm with blakey on this - let's just say I have several Nearly all of mine are mechs - I find they work just great for me with an attie at about 1 and a bit ohms. I don't think you can beat a dripper and these just take out the need to drip! I still run a few tanks as well.

Red Coolfire IV arrived today - is the new favourite of my Mrs Just started looking for one of these when this thread popped up, so perfect timing. Such a good price and quick (free!) delivery - no need to sift through Chinese vendors

This one comes up quite often, but something I think is critical is not usually mentioned - the nicotine strength of the liquid you are using. I used 36mg juice for a long time and settled on about 9 Watts for that. I now use 24mg juice and my Wattage is usually now about 11 or so. I've tried sub ohm/ high power vaping and I had to halve the nic content to cope with that but I found that didn't really suit me. I'd guess that there is a relationship here and linked to that would be the amount of juice/ amount of vaping you do as I'd also guess that I'd vape much more if I used lower nic juice. Personally I like to just have the occasional toot so I've settled on relatively high nic level juice and a vaping setup that suits that.
Obviously everyone varies but it would be interesting to see how these different factors relate in general.

I just checked the site as I have never had problems with them and I see it is down with technical problems at the moment.
I regularly order from them - my wife likes their juice. Also worth noting that if you order a 30ml bottle you get a second one free.

As an aside I 'stocked up' myself a couple of years ago (and I wish I could charge now what I paid for a litre of 52mg nicotine then ) and basically due to lazyness I just stuck it on a shelf in my garage and........ erm forgot about it. I rediscovered it this January and out of interest I opened the package for a look - it had gone a very dodgy looking colour, not surprising after being sat on a shelf in a garage that gets rather warm in the summer, but in the interests of science I mixed some juice up with it. Perhaps surprisingly it was actually ok (slightly 'wrong' tasting but not unvapeable by any means) and seemed to be near enough the 24mg strength I mixed to as makes to difference in terms of vaping it. Now I don't recommend anyone follows my lead, and if I'd left it another 2 years it might well be a different story, BUT it does show it is fairly resilient stuff. Funnily enough I did exactly the same thing - 2 year old base (from a previous Pirate ) kept in a garage - mine was 72mg. Just like yours it had coloured a bit, but also like yours it tastes fine to me at 24mg. My taste buds aren't exactly the best after many years of smoking, but I've been working my way through it with no ill effects so far
