Good spot Di. I was looking at these on Gotvapes the other day but didn't fancy the postage so was wondering when they would arrive in the UK. They certainly look interesting - not sure I would bother with 8 wicks though

If you are looking for mesh, you could keep an eye open for one of the good originals like a Line or a Cyclon - both very good. Even second hand they might be a bit over your budget, but classic genesis atties

Just compared Vamo with Lavatube, and i think its the length that bothers me. I will go look at the gripper or a warlords mod. My previous egos fitted nicely in my inside pockets. But the Vamo just pops out of the top and im in fear of it falling out. So i think the length is the problem. If you want a tube type mod that is VV/VW things like the LT are a bit shorter but you are not going to get anything much smaller than that. Probably the shortest option is to get a basic tube mode and add a kick. This normally means replacing the 18650 with an 18500 + kick, but you can get tubes with some mods that take an 18650 + kick. Going down that route is of course going to be more expensive as the kick costs about £35 and you need to buy the mech mod as well

I tried some nic base on its own with no flavouring and I quite liked it! I don't fancy plain PG though.

Great news Dolly. I think the motability scheme is a brilliant idea and I'm really pleased for you.

I agree with Perpy a 3.0 Allen key works fine. Their recommendation is a T15 which to my amazement I discovered I had in a set of bits - that of course works as well.

yes, weather is good, like an early summer`s day (well, not a UK one, got wall to wall sunshine here lol) I did vape all the way and in both airports, but Stealthily, on my vamo. I`m not sure the words Vamo and Stealth go together, but got away with it with a lot of holding in of vapour so it disappeared before exhaling.Getting a hire car today, £39 for 5 days, it`s tiny but will be fine,so enjoying it here Glad you are enjoying yourself Robby. I was thinking of a little holiday in Malta this year, but I've never been there, so will be interesting to hear of your experiences there!

Hi and welcome laughingjohn. You've made some good points there. You can get good quality stuff from China - indeed the vast majority of vaping stuff is made there. The problem is that as soon as a successful product is developed loads of other factories copy it with varying degrees of success. If you look at the vendors sub board you will find a list of vendors that have been found to be reliable. Generally they will know who the better suppliers are and if you have a problem they will sort it out for you. There are also some good reliable vendors in China you can use if you want to. As far as things to try is concerned as you see the Vivi Nova is popular and the mini will look OK on your eGo - as has been mentioned, looks wise it would be improved if you add a plinth. The Kanger T3 or MT3 (very similar) are also well rated so worth a try. The eGo - C tanks you started with are a bit notorious for leaking, but a bit of leaking is unfortunately a vaping hazard that can occasionally occur on almost anything Make sure you regularly wipe your battery connection!

Dave....Yep fortunately the Piccolo came with the AW IMR 14500 batteries so thats good I only have 0.2 Kanthal wire...will that make any difference to the Ohms ? If I do 4 wraps it seems to give me around 2 to 2.2 Ohms Any reason to nichrome over kanthal wire My Piccolo will be the V3...will this still need the springs ? If you can give me a shout when their available in the UK that would be great Any other tips on my setup would be appreciated !! Thanks to Dave and everyone else for their input What a great site !!!! Kanthal wire has higher resistance than Nichrome wire for the same thickness and length, so if 4 wraps of 0.2 Nichrome gives you about 1.5 ohms on doubled up 3mm wick, you would only need 3 wraps of Kanthal roughly for the same resistance. You could try that and see how you get on, but it would probably be worth getting some lower resistance wire so you can see if you prefer to have more wraps of wire. I always use Nichrome with silica wick - mainly because I've got loads of it, but I don't think using Kanthal would make much difference. You could try either 0.2 Nichrome or 0.22/0.25 Kanthal. If you don't already, it is a good idea to flame Kanthal a few times with a lighter before you use it - it makes it less springy and easier to work with and gets rid of any impurities. The V3 may come with the new screw connector on the positive end - this new arrangement has only recently been developed so I'm not sure when they started fitting it as standard. You will soon see - if the top cap has a spring sticking out of it you have the old style connector. They work perfectly well, you just have to be a bit careful with them Good luck with your Picollo - let us know how you gt on with it!
