is there a relatively simple way to test nicotine content of a premixed juice. i buy a well-known custard pre-mix juice and my first 500ml of 2 orders, the week before last week was very light in colour, this was changed for another which has arrived today and is equally light, the initial light one still has hardly changed in colour after at least 2 weeks steeping. these are all kept in a cold fridge (my beer fridge). im not a great one for strong flavours, never have been as many over strong flavours give me blinding headaches. i mix this pre-mix with an equal nic strength, non-flavoured mix and this gives me my ideal juice. my problem im not certain I can trust the nic strength of 16mg so ideally id like to test it for strength. generally i rebatch 300ml of this to create 600ml at a time, so dont really want to waste time and money batching up a mix thats far too weak for me. ive no reason other than the light colour and the initial one still having still hardly changed in colour, to make me think its low on nic, all other juice from the same place as been a chalk and cheese difference in colour of these two batches, bearing in mind there was a third batch in between these that looks as others have in the past. just to clarify batch 1 light, batch 2 normal and batch 3 light, batches 1 and 2 were 2 days apart. is this possible to test the nic strength?. Nicotine shouldn't make any difference to the colour at all it's all down to steep time for custards. Plus they may have messed about with the recipe and changed a constituent of it. thanks dalean, i dont know enough to disagree but the mix has always been amber-ish and these 2 batches are near clear, to make it more confusing theres a normal colour batch in the middle, these were ordered 2 days apart. why would they mess with such a successful recipe?

Thanks bluemagnum. That did seem a lot too add too the mix. I will take a look at the link, thanks. Strangely I still have a bottle of drum from 5 years back, still unused from ok smokey he the owner used this is 54mg, his regular vape at that time, always thought it was OTT.

Thanks everyone, we are using in innokin t18 coils with there purpose built tanks, personally I've only in the past 4 months dropped to 18mg . To be honest I was a bit inebriated last night so probably wasn't thinking too wisely, that said I and many here were using 36mg when we first started vaping 5 or 6 yrs back, but yes the delivery method was weaker. I will as advised go for 24mg and yes I suppose there are many reasons for not being able to knock the ciggies on the head but we have been here at least half a dozen times over the past 6 years. Could I ask for an adjustment on the formula to make 24mg from 18mg juice. Thanks again, I am just trying to too give her the best chance of quitting.

looking for some advice, my wife has come off the ciggies again but is struggling a bit and is having the odd fag tut tut. she is using 18mg and i want to increase the nic to 36mg, what amount should i add too 30ml of liquid. im assuming this wont need steeping but not sure. she is using rejuices menthol molatov cocktail, i will be making her something myself but want to get a few months into it before sorting her a recipe thats similar. our method is used at 9 watts and our current setup wont allow much higher wattage. thanks. raggy...........

my original istick 50w appears to not be taking a charge so im moving onto my spare one. i was just looking to order another one when i came across this thread. i only use these link so dont really need power. but like a battery that lasts all, i just use the spare while its charging. i could almost buy two of these for the price of a plug set istick 50w. ive been really happy with my 50w so do i buy another or go for one or two of these newer models. thanks.................

Thanks but They wouldn't really help as I'm trying too create a gap rather than close a gap. Tightening mine down with minimal pressure is to tight restricting the air flow. What about just putting an o ring from a drip tip over the 510 threading on the tank? That would do it I think if I can find one thin enough. I made one from a store card but it was to thick so the Atty wasn't touching the floating pin, I'm sure I'll find an O-ring that will work. The setup is working mirror less fine it just needs a fraction more air. Thanks for the help.

does anyone have any tips for a washer type idea that i can place between the bottom of the tank and my device. i need to help the air flow just a fraction, it would need to be half the thickness of a credit card. i im using the istick 50 with innokin t18 tanks, the tank tightens down and the tank air flow vent doesnt line up with the istick air vent. i dont need to line them up just create a slight gap. ive tried it with folded and cut paper but its fiddly putting the tank back on each time. any tips please.
