my son has last week bought a kanger subox mini as a starter kit. i have little or no knowledge of sub ohm so i cant advise him too much and i also make my own juice 24mg and pg only. this device drinks more juice than ive ever known and he is currently paying a tenner for 30ml 6mg 80/20. i will of course advise him too make his own I'd get him going on that as soon as possible Raggy! There are so many lovely ' one shots ' now that make mixing a doddle - especially if he's subohming, I'm assuming he's going for VG heavy? hi yer perpy, hope your all good. he is using 80/20 vg/pg i will give him a couple more weeks them get him too get some nic. getting him too part up for a litre might not be easy, he has started the vaping a few times but hopefully he will give it a proper go this time. |

well ive bit the bullet and ordered two of those tanks and 25 heads.
ive read some reviews and watched a few videos on them,
hopefully i can get my wife to use one of them, she has tried a few times with my boges but didnt like them and thats all i had.
once ive had a go on these i will try to move onwards and upwards as they say.
the juice prices for my son also look great.
i think i might try the NAUTILUS MINI shortly as well but well try this first.

i will of course advise him too make his own but for now he needs a reasonably priced supplier for his juice so can i have some recommendations please, it doesnt need to be fancy stuff for now as we all know that when starting vaping juice is a bit of a minefield.
he is using the device at 20 watts on a .5 coil can he go down lower on power and cut down on juice usage and the bloody clouds this device produces.
i was going to go this route myself after he bought it last week but i dont want clouds like that so im back too square one again with a method for me to start using,currently i use the primitive boges cartos on a tank but they've become almost useless.
any advice welcome on all points.

thanks richard, the reason i was doing this is that i popped into a vape shop in norwich and tried the kanger subtank. we discussed my setup which he had never heard of but he explained that 6mg is 24mg ish when using this method, im not suggesting he is right, it was just how he explained it. It is certainly not a precise art but I sub ohm down to about 0.1 with TC (as well as vape around 1.1 ohms with kanthal) and even then I think the jump from 24 to sub ohm at 6 is a tad optimistic. But we are all different and so is the kit we use. As a general rule I think making smaller incremental changes is a good policy to avoid ending up with large amounts of juice that aint right. Good luck thanks richard, makes sense, i would likely do some small amounts but may have too buy ready made in between. i really struggle with ready mades as im not a flavour lover and like the vg headaches many flavours do this too and ive never been able to pin it down exactly. i can probably suffer just watering down and not steeping as the non flavour wont really bother me. |

I don't sub-ohm, but a lot of sub ohmers are looking for clouds and not too much throat hit that PG can create, but if vaping at lowish watts you might be okay (especially as you're used to very high PG mixes). I suggest that you experiment, to find out what suits you and doesn't give you headaches. Some steeping would be preferable if remixing, depending on your patience and the flavour type. (By the way if you continue to dabble with Boge carto's on a part time basis, PM or email me, I'm sure I can beat whatever you have been paying!) [Edit to Add] - If you use Ejuice Me Up calculator, there's a nic combine function in the tools menu, that is an easy way to work out dilutions by trial and error. Or I don't mind carrying out the calculations! thank you again, much of my reason for going this route is that wherever ive bought boges from in the past 18 mths they have been problematic. ive tried blanks, holed and slots, i have too punch up to 4 holes into blanks, add extra holes too slots and holed ones and they badly wick, can taste bad and have a 2 to 3 day limit. im currently ploughing through some from health cabin and some uk sellers. |

thank you, makes sense now i see it wrote down, 25% to 75%.
is it ok too use pg in sub methods as id sort of heard, read it needed to be a very high content of vg.
so by re flavouring it would need most of the normal steep period, i guess.

firstly i am considering buying a kanger subtank mini, i currently use boge cartos in a tank so for me its a big change.
i have around 300ml of juice made up at 24mg and it is full pg with pg nic.
can anyone tell me the ratio of of my juice to VG i would have too use to get it down too 6mg.
ive not yet read enough too know for certain if 6mg will be what i will use as i dont really want the clouds of vapour ive seen these produce, so im guessing that if i was vaping at 15 watts maybe the mix i would use maybe a slightly higher mg but i would want too start cutting the mg down now, after 6 years vaping.
oh, and would this have too re steep, i use golden rollie with a hint of caramel, so i would also need to re flavour it.
none of this might work for me as 3 to 4 years back i was getting banging headaches from some vg juices so ive been on pg only for some time now.

Yeah ragjoy. I've wasted loads and loads of juice aswell. So, I had to find something new. I am hoping this new setup is going to work for me. let me know hissie i need too move onto something else, this is just becoming hassle. i still have around 40 boges mixed batches and there really not great. that said, this week ive gone back too the health cabin two holed batch that were awful, ive made them two holes bigger and also punched 2 higher holes and there not too bad "fingers crossed" |
