i am just starting to go through them, but if you look at the business end they are very different from any LRs ive seen before.
and yes, i think there bone dry too, but there is a primer taste.

well it certainly opens your eyes to what these batteries can do, and if it dont open them it could well close them permanently.

the thing is 5 to 10 seconds before it went off while holding the now unplugged charger i was staring at it from less than 1 foot as i thought it was fizzing, it was.
i placed it on the drainer and boom.
i/we were very lucky it missed both of us, lucky we were there to unplug it and lucky i found the battery behind the cooker extractor where it was still smouldering against the back of the of the wall units.
there were too many luckys for me not to take the hint and charge safer.

and yes lilac thats the charger i bought, i also spoke to these people and had a good chat with them.
they said that a large % of chargers sold on on ebay and ecig shops cannot for sure know they selling the real thing as with anything from china it is always copied.
he assured me that they only deal with the company directly.
he also said that there is not a charger that is totally safe and the £50 one they have is no safer than the one i bought, but it does condition the batteries, which is not necessary with ecig use.
i dont now use a firebox but i do charge them in the conservatory against a brick wall on a slate floor with a timer that has those little slide out bits, i have 4hrs set to on, any other time is off, so i just put the batts in and spin it to the on hours section it will then only charge for 4 hrs max in any 24hr cycle.
i also have a permanent alarm on my phone that i set to 3.5 hrs when i put the batts on, if i go out i dont really worry as the conservatory wont burn the house down, that said i have 3 x aw17670s and 4 x 14500s so there is never really a time when i out and there charging.
all of this is seems no doubt over the top but unless you see one of these batts explode 3 foot from your face you will probably never really worry.
i dont think this charger is expensive considering it will do quite a number of batt types and has some safety features.

your right about the attys, they are really running hot.
my cigar has vaped quicker in the past week so it may well have a bearing on that as well.
but OKS has always vaped quicker, so as scylla says it may be water or alcohol making it burn off, but ive added PG and its burning quicker than ever.

well just my 2bobs worth.
ive not fully read every post in the thread.
but this can really be a much more a positive thing rather than negative.
as with many things that come onto the market there are always some looking for the fast buck.
the negative of this is some suppliers and there are many is running without reading and using the rule book.
the positive is that lets say LF can trump this by stating we have had the new super dooper efag tested for safety and our juices are tested by joe blogs from the big testing center.com and they conform to all health and safety measures.
the problem i see is that the suppliers need to wake up and smell the coffee.
they are the only ones who can either make this all work or they can do as the ipswich seller has done and say "well no one told me".
sellers its your living and our pleasure, but you guys need to step up to the mark and make yourselves totally legal.
i realise this all costs money but if you dont do it and soon the fines you will getting will far out way any costs.
i may be talking complete rubbish here if so just ignore me!!!!!!!!
