Thanks folks! I must admit that after recommendations on here about Myepack and a few recommendations about the Glass I was more drawn to it, so it looks like it will be Myepack's glass, Would the Glass also be better with the ACV? as I said I'm only using cheapo basic KIK stuff at the moment, though I do have two new clearomisers I have no idea what make they are only that I can get the spare coils/wicks for them, just out of interest how long do the coils last? mine seem to last around two weeks then I get the burnt taste, I'm sure I read on here that you can clean them to make them last longer but I can't seem to find the link,,,,,

Awww! thanks folks, a bit late I know but I've been on my Hols with the rest of my mental family for the last two weeks, I belong to quite a few forums mostly about the Norfolk Broads and other boating forums, and I can honestly say this one is the one that has made me feel most welcome,,,

Hello Folks! it's only me! well back from two weeks out on my boat, brilliant weather and burnt my bald head again, as I said! with 10 other family on two other boats skint isn't the word but it was great fun apart from my birthday on Tuesday because no one bought me any Vaping stuff all I got was a new stern light for the boat, (everyone go Ahhhh!) the same as the new one I just fitted a few weeks ago, anyone want to buy a stern light?? got loads of cards but no money in any of them, (more Ahhhhs!) after two weeks with my basic kit on the boat I've decided to upgrade a bit, the kit I've been using is KIK cheap and basic but it sort of does the job, one thing I did notice is that the temperature affects the taste of the juices, I've been using Blueberry quite a bit and found first thing in the morning it tasted great but as the weather got hotter it started to taste odd, then in the evening when it cooled down it tasted great again, so one lesson I learnt was to keep my juice and stick cool, I did a bit of checking reading reviews and looking on here and have got it down to two choices, the Evod glass or the Pro-tank. myepack.co.uk/kits/evod-glass-starter-kit.html are doing a good deal on the Glass, but I found another place www.eciguk.net/protank-duo-starter-kit-1130-p.asp that is doing the Protank for the same price, they are both duo kits the only thing is the Glass comes with two 600mAh batteries and the Pro-tank comes with two 900mAh ones, so which one do you guys think is the best one, I'm not sure If I read it right but it seems the Evod batteries give a constant 3.7volts so that sounds good, as with mine I usually end up sucking air when it's down to half charge,, Mow,,,,, |

Touchy! being fairly new to Vaping myself, I 'll tell you my experience with the strengths of juice, but I'm sure you will get some other good advice here! I was a 20 a day full strength cig smoker plus I would smoke around 10 roll ups a day, I actually managed to stop smoking as soon as I got my kit and havn't smoked a cig since and havn't even fancied one, so if you really want to give up it is do-able, not knowing any better and because of the amount I was smoking I went straight for the 24mg juice, the first few days were fine but then I started get a real sting in the back of my throat which I didn't like, I found out we have an E/cig shop just opened near me so popped in for a look and a chat, the guy advised me to drop to the 18mg juice which I've been on since and the sting went, but it has started to come back so I will be dropping down to the 12mg Juice, personally with what you smoke I would get a couple of bottles of 12mg juice as well to try as well and if you feel you can, give up the cigs right away as I think carrying on could be the reason why some people go back and give up Vaping, if you do decide to stop cigs you may find you'll get headaches for a few days, but I think that may be because your system is getting rid of all the crap from cigarettes, others will tell you if I'm right on that, one bit of good advice I found here was to drink more water again others will advise you on that, and good luck with your Vaping! as I keep telling people as someone that has smoked at least 20 cigs a day for the last 50 plus years and actually loved smoking, if I can give up anyone can,,,,

Hijack! I was serious, I use the lid off one of the Wife's hairspray cans, I crimp the top edge to a point so I can tip it into the 10ml Empties I save, and I actually do use a Q tip with the end cut off and flattened for stirring, I have a old/new medicine syringe that I used to use for fishing for blowing up worms so they float, (only another fisherman will know that trick) I did mention I was tight, I do need to get a bit more Techie with my kit but it works,,,,,I'd better also mention that I forgot to wash the lid out last time and left it in the kitchen cupboard, now the whole cupboard stinks,,,,,,

Charon! I'm actually finding that out! had a few now that I loved for the first few days then didn't like them, I had a Coffee one that I loved and went off it, havn't vaped it for a few weeks and thought I'd try it again after reading your post, suddenly I love it again, so something else here I've learnt,
Leo! some how I just can't imagine vaping Custard flavour, but as it seems very popular I will be brave and try it!

I might be wrong about JJ but I got this from this site and when I put the code in it dropped the price, so I presume it's still valid, having said that JJ's prices are pretty good to start with, Joose-Juice - e-liquid & DIY - use discount AAEC12 for 12% off (Excludes 10ml Tasters) Free Postage on orders over £40 use code - JJFP0040 www.joosejuice.co.uk/ I must admit when I find a flavour I like I tend to stick with, so far your right though I havn't really found the perfect one, I did try the Strawberry that I bought when I got my kit and it was quite nice, my mistake was I got the 24mg that hit the back of my throat a bit too much, but taste wise it was nice, all the 10 ml testers I have left I play with and make different mixes, my latest mix is Blueberry, Menthol and Tobacco, basically I'm tight, most of the juice I had was 24mg so I'm diluting it with 18mg juice, and it seems just enough to take the sting out, I'm learning a lot from you guys and gals here, luckily the new shop near me has testers set up so you can try before you buy, but I'm finding it very odd that flavours I thought I'd like are turning out to be the ones I don't like, things like Cherrys I love but not in the juice, as I said in another post I thought the tobacco juice would be the one for me, but after two weeks I went right off it, I definitely think you need to try a juice for a couple of days before making your mind up, my problem at the moment is I can't quite get my head around Vaping flavours and not eating them, but on the other hand why go for tobacco juices when the whole idea was to stop smoking, I'm still getting my nicotine hit but without all the Crap in Cigs and think by using tobacco juices it could be very easy to go back to Cigs,, Mow,,,,, |

I'll wait till I come back from my hols as I might be skint by the time I get back, the Mrs and me will be on our boat, my Daughter and son in law plus two grandkids will be on their boat and five more grandkids will be on a hire boat, only two on the hire boat are actually real grandkids the others just adopted us, and I know what will happen it will be Dad can you lend me some money, and Grandad I really like that ?? so it will be bank of Nan and Grandad for two weeks, I must plan my holiday better next year  Mow,,, |

Hi David! and welcome from another newbie, I can't comment on kit but I can about the tobacco juices, as a 20 a day man plus roll ups for the last 50 years the first thing I did was go for the tobacco juices, that lasted two weeks the I tried the flavoured ones, my thoughts were if I was going to give up cigs and put a big stick in my mouth it should at least taste like cigs but without all the c**p in cigs, for me all these fruit juices and others were meant for eating not Vaping, I havn't seen it mentioned yet! but this lot here told me about taster bottles 5 or 10ml bottles, and very cheap so you don't waste money, I gave up cigs 8 weeks ago and havn't touched one since, I loved smoking and reckon that if I can give up anyone can,, I worked out that in the 8 weeks I've saved £406 without the additional cost of the 50gr of rolling tobacco I was getting through, and spent well under £100 on Vaping stuff and juices,,,

Thanks Clivia! I was just looking at the Protank2, had to look up the airflow doohicky as I had no idea what it was, still not sure if I do know what it does, the reason for the question was I find the one I'm using tends to get a bit too warm so thought the bottom coil might be better, I thought I might be (ok you lot keep it clean) sucking too hard, so it looks like my next kit will be the protank2 and airflow thingy, being tight the prices won't break the bank, strangely the thing confuzzling me is the juices, everyone seems to have their own favourite brands, but as there only seems to be a few that loads recommend I'll get the same flavour from each one and see what one I prefer, Ronaldo! don't get me started on keeping notes, my Mrs thinks I have shares in post it's, I have a boat so make notes of everything, from when I refuel to any little job I need to do, I keep notes on things I need to do when I get home, notes of websites you name it I keep notes on it and stick them everywhere, trouble is my Mrs is a clean freak and I'll get up one morning and they will all be gone, I only found out a few months ago she puts them all in a kitchen draw to keep them safe, trouble is she never told me, I thought she binned them, when she did eventually tell me after I went ballistic one day, I went to said draw and found notes from 5 years ago, so now I have one post it that says check draw, I'm getting my own back as I found a post app for my iPad and make notes on there now, that'll teach her to mess with my notes,,  Mow,,, |

Well the brain is back to near normal this morning! far too much info on here for my little noodle to take in, I tried a few flavours at the shop today and strangely ended up buying samples of 18mg Blueberry and Menthol, very odd as I don't normally like either, I dropped to 18mg from the 24mg after explaining to the shop I didn't like the sting at the back of my throat, he asked how many cigs I used to smoke a day and told me the 24 mg might be a bit to strong for me, got my samples home and tried them on their own seemed stronger than the testers in the shop but then I remembered the ones in the shop were 8mg, so the mad professor in me came out, out came the hair spray lid, for the purist out there my mixing bowl, my empty juice bottles, and cotton buds with the ends cut off and flattened, my mixing sticks, put in the Blueberry and added about a quarter of the Menthol, not bad but needed a bit more, just adding a bit more when the wife decides while she's passing to hit me around the head, whoops squeezed to hard top came off and I now had a 50 50 Blueberry and Menthol mix, strangely I like it but that's how science discovers things though I don't suppose they have their wives there hitting them in the head, I now have visions of saying to the wife hit me in the head I need to get this mix right, I would like to get into mixing my own but in all honesty I'm just too lazy, I like the look of the JJ stuff plus he's doing a buy BOGOF at the moment so with the code I'd be getting 60ml for the price of 30ml and being tight that's good for me, I quite fancy the Strawberry and Cream but the concept of vaping it instead of eating it seems a bit strange to me, I'm off on my boat for 2 weeks from Friday so will be putting in an order from JJ once I get back, another question here! on JJ it says about PG/VG ratios, now I don't have a clue what this means apart from if I'm right one is for taste and the other is for vapour, so should I just stick with 50 50, and at this point I'd just like to say thank for all the welcomes and advice you lot have given, I can now understand why some people give up vaping if they just stick to the tobacco juices that the corner shops sell, now the mad scientist has come out in me I could soon be creating monsters
