You need to try some different flavours! when I first started vaping I was like most people and wanted something that tasted like tobacco! it didn't happen, I tried loads of different ones and they all tasted rank, anything from cardboard to puke, I was on the verge of going back to cigs they really were that bad, once I started on the flavours I didn't look back, it's been over a year now and I'm still finding new flavours I like, I think most people here seem to have their go to juice, mine are Blueberry or Raspberry for my all day vapes, I buy a new premiun juice each week as a treat a keep another tank just for those, you may be lucky and find a baccy one you like, but my betting is once you find a different juice you like, the baccy ones will end up in the bin, I really want to start making my own juice but for now once I find one I like I bulk buy as it works out cheaper from Bluestar, Joose Juice or One pound liquid,

Sue! even he he dosn't like forums get him to join this one, the advice here is second to none and like a few others it's not a competition here to see who has the latest or best kit, it's all about helping everyone from the virgin vapor to the advanced, I'd still be stuck on my cig-a-like if it wasn't for this lot, and they will advise on anything from basic starter kits to the hope you have deep pockets stuff,,

Andy! a couple of friends switched to subtanks after trying mine, both complained about little vapor plus crackling and gurgling, in both cases they were vaping between 8w and 12w, when I checked both were under wicked, I re-wicked them and cranked them up to 25w and neither have had a problem since, I think part of the problem is the scary jump in watts, most of my other kit gets to taste a bit burnt around 13w so when I first got my subtank I vaped around 12w and wondered why it wasn't as good as everyone said thinking that jumping up to 25+watts would definatly taste burnt, then I Youtubed it and found that 25+w was normal for subbing, I don't think people realise normal vaping and subbing are worlds apart and you need to relearn the way you vape, a bit like another post where you see them blowing massive clouds but they have no idea what coil they have or the battery's'

Both my subtanks crackle and gurgle a bit until the coil settles in, my guess is he's not wicking it right as the only leak I've ever had was when I didn't put enough wick in, the wick needs to be snug fit in the coil, then I cut it the width of the tank, fluff it out, fold it up to put the cap on, then gently tuck it down fluffing it out and making sure the two air holes are completely covered, if he's using cotton pads make sure to take at least the top layer off so he can fluff it out better, I now only use Cotton Bacon for that reason, it's a bit more fiddly to get the right amount for the wick but as I said as long as it's not too tight or to loose in the coil he should be ok! as for no Vapor I think he's probably at too low watts, I always used to vape at 8w to 12w, I don't know about others here but my subtanks need at least 20w, now I vape between 25w and 30w for the best taste and Vapor that suits me,,

Just an addy! thats all pressuming it's the new RBA he's using and not the old one,,

Welcome sillyak! must admit it was the Kik kit that got me started Vaping, was at the boat and Lathams were doing a full kit for £9.99, bought it thinking I have no idea how it works or what i'm doing and it would be crap but it worked and I havn't looked back, I did try the old kik a while back and realised they are crap compared to my kit now, but I'd still recommend it as a cheap starter kit and a gateway into Vaping, I must admit I didn't find their juices that bad, and the newish premium range are better than a lot I've tried,,

I might be wrong! but if it's the new kanger subtank mini RBA, I don't know if rayon or any type of string wick will work without leaking, the new airholes are pretty big and I've found with mine that even leaving the smallest of gap in the wick around the airhole it leaks, every leaking issue I've read up on on the new RBA has been down to bad wicking and not covering the airholes, so I don't think rayon type string would spread enough to cover them, but I'm sure others here will tell me if I'm wrong and it does work, as you can't touch cotton it must be down to the feel of it, so how about some disposable gloves and some Muji pads or Bacon bits cotton? the gloves are thin enough so you can still feel what your doing without actually touching the cotton,,

Thats it! I'm leaving! no not really your stuck with me, seriously though, isn't a forum all about discussion? why quit just because someone says something you don't agree with? one of the downsides of any forum is that something written can and does come across as offensive or a personal attack, as a member of many forums I've seen things written that if said face to face would just be ignored, yet on the forum have started a mini war, I buy all my stuff from China and I know the upsides and down sides, I never buy clones even though a lot of them come off the same production lines and same factory that are making them for the big boys, they arn't a copy or clone they are original they just can't be sold as that, there are UK vendors selling stuff as original that are clones, it's a case of make a choice and pay your money, mostly it seems to me that Gearbest are ok! even if a lot of it is down to Isabele sorting it out, I've had a few problems with FT but I still use them because 95% of the stuff I bought has been great, If I see something I fancy I look at the threads here, if more say it's good I'll go for it, it's about choices and learning, if you don't fancy buying from China, the answer is simple, "Don't", every bit of kit apart from my first starter kit has been on the advice I got here, so no more chucking the Teddy out, just agree to disagree, I'll bet there's not a Vendor out there that someone hasn't had a problem with, so feel free to insult or ridicule me if you want, I have broad shoulders and know that something typed on a forum dosn't always read like it sounds, if it wasn't for the advice good of bad I've gained from here I would have been back on the stinkies long ago,,

Don't worry folks! Mow to the rescue! Lady Pink was the one that I couldn't work out but just for you all it's this! Strawberry+Blueberry +Peach, Now your all wondering how I know this!!! Well Ash now has them all on his site under Cloud range, Flavours you may be surprised what some of the flavours actually are, I had one I thought personally was rank, Sour Flank then I found out it's tobacco and fruit, funny how I can't stand any tobacco juices now, yet when I started tobacco was my go to juice,, Mow,,,

Subox Mini, RBA at 0.5ohm running at 25w, so far mental clouds and flavour, and love the two I've tried, but have two more to go,
Lady Pink! still can't quite work out what flavour this is, passion fruit, kiwi, mango I don't know but I'm not getting apple like Snow, but I agree it's very moreish and I could vape this all day, well actually I have been for two days,
Mentol Games! I put this at the back as I can't stand menthol, but on having a sniff I got sea-side rock, then realised the label said Mentol not Menthol, I'm loving this one as well, it taste like Seaside Rock on the inhale on the exhale it's kind of Mento's, it made me laugh as Judi said it smells like the Seaside, I then pointed out we live 5 minutes walk from the beach, must be good though as she actually likes the smell of this one,

Over the months I've cut down from the 24mg to 12mg, when I got the subtank I bought some 6mg juice in my usual flavour and have been using that since, I mistakenly topped up with a bit of 12mg I had left and it nearly ripped my throat out, even the 6mg I'm finding a bit strong but if it keeps me away from Cigs I'll put up with that until I'm brave enough to try the 0mg,

Ok! it might just be me, all the way through my Vaping journey I've had the occasional Cig, usualy first thing in the morning then sometimes again after my dinner, and if I'm working on my boat or as of late decorating my daughters house for some reason I reach for the cigs and sometimes got through 10 a day, not very often usualy when I'm stressed, around three weeks ago my Kanger Subtank kit turned up, I stuck the stock 0.5 coil in and couldn't beleive the difference in taste and cloud to my usual set up, but here's the strange thing! since getting the Subtank I havn't had or even fancied a Cig, I can only think I'm getting something from the Subtank and subing I wasn't getting with my old set ups, my last one was a Kbox and Taifun gtII and at the time I was more than happy with that set up,

Same as above! both the stock coils that came with my Subtank leaked after a few days, but since switching to the RBA I've had no leaking issues and I'm not the greatest at wicking, either too much or too little usually, Mow,,, Just seen the above! I'm a heavy vapor and after two weeks my RBA is still going strong on the same coil and wick with my 70% PG / 30% VG juice, though the first week was the best tasting, so I'd say once a week, and it only cost penny's anyway, I use Koh Gen Do cotton and buy pre-made coils from F/T coil link
